I wish I had listened to the reviews and turned do...
I wish I had listened to the reviews and turned down a position working for them. These people are monsters and the worst kind. They will smile in your face, make it seem like a family work environment, but cut you down and talk behind your back.
The turnover rate isn t surprising, they expect so much out of their employees for so little. A college degree doesn t get you anywhere up the corporate ladder. The management gets richer and travels while the little people put in time for next to nothing. I volunteered to help with a different department other than the one I was hired for, and found out they planned on using me there while they took their time finding a new person. The person before warned me about the environment, and I wish I had listened and quit at the time.
The most horrendous part would have to be how they handled (to me) an important life crisis. I was hospitalized for a suicide attempt and left 2 voicemail messages for the supervisor, Jeff. He had personally given everyone in our department his cell number and told us to reach out in case of an emergency. You would think wanting to kill yourself would be one, but I guess not. The department manager, Stephanie, faked concern and told me to take time to get well. Meanwhile the entire time they had packed all of my things and gave it to the staffing agency.I received a call in the hospital telling me I had been terminated. As if that wasn t enough to send someone spiraling back into depression, they implied that I was too friendly with the supervisor and needed to stop calling him because I had his personal number, that he gave the entire department. Mind you, I literally called twice and reached voicemail to keep him updated on my well-being. I guess because they couldn t use me anymore they decided to get rid of me.
With that being said, don t waste your time. The insurance benefits come at a ridiculous cost. (Upper management doesn t even use it.) It s a very fake friendly environment and I regret giving them the time of day.
