My trek to Everest Base Camp was truly a transformative experience. It feels amazing to be back in Kathmandu, safely tucked away in my hotel room. Staying a day behind schedule didn’t stop Rabin and Nitesh at Third Eye Adventure from making our trek to Everest Base Camp unforgettable. Rabin took charge the moment we landed in Lukla, and when it started raining, he encouraged me to push hard for Namche instead of resting in Phakding. He was incredibly attentive, even carrying my water bottle to lighten my load—a favor I gladly took advantage of throughout the trek. His humor and quick wit made the tough climbs feel effortless. The real magic happened when weather threatened to ground us in Lukla. Just hours before a flight, Rabin coordinated a last-minute change, getting us on a plane and into a private van to KTM while others were still stuck at the airport. His logistics were flawless. Meanwhile, Nitesh kept our spirits high with his dancing and music, and also helped with my heavy bag when the trail got tough. These two are simply the best in Kathmandu. I couldn’t recommend Third Eye Adventure more highly—10/10!
