Outdoor dining in LA, can't beat it. I had a simple chicken and vegetables type plate but it was so well prepared and deliciously seasoned that the flavors were excellent. Plus the front yard ambiance was great. Loved it. Can't wait to go back.

Great food but small establishment and no parking lot so you might have to walk a little or use their valet, which is fine but it was a busy morning and 1 guy working the valet so there was a bit of a wait. Parking issue aside, cute interiors, delicious food and nice staff.

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is nice! The problem is I sat there for more than 5 minutes without getting water or asked if I wanted anything and I had to get up and ask for someone. But after that the service was good! So that's why I'm giving 4 stars, and the place is beautiful and delicious so I'm definitely coming back

The first time I tried to visit this place on a Saturday morning, I easily was discouraged by the long line out front so I decide to prolong my visit on a day where I wouldn't mind waiting. My boyfriend and I arrived on a Sunday morning close to 11 am and were greeted by another long line. However, I was hopeful that with two people, we'd be seated quickly and in this case we were. I didn't realize they had an indoor seating area and many people are waiting to be seated outside so because we didn't care where we sat, we were seated immediately.

I ordered a bloody mary alongside my Tree House Club sandwich and paid an extra $1 to add garlic to my fries. The bloody mary mix was a bit thick and really filling, but that didn't stop me from trying to finish my club sandwich. It was plenty of food and I could only get through half the sandwich after finishing my fries. I was completely impressed with the quality but I was still satisfied. I likely wouldn't order it again. My boyfriend ordered the grilled chicken avocado sandwich and wasn't a fan of the rye bread. He always loves when sweet potato fries are an option as a side so he was also satisfied. We definitely want to give this place another try and other dishes. As for parking, they do valet, but we were able to find street parking not too far away.

I don't know what more you could ask for from a Garden Cafe. There's a full bar. Dogs are allowed. And the occasional acorn will fall into your food from the great trees above you. A wide selection on the menu including some really nice healthy choices. I'm not going to give them anything less than five stars even though their pancakes are overpriced. Seriously LA, when did pancakes become a $15 breakfast item? Might want to make a reservation through OpenTable on the weekends. Evenings that is. No reservations for brunch. Also parking in the area is a little difficult.

Breakfast is good. I've never had good service in the 5 times I've been there. There's always a line. Outside of breakfast, the food is mediocre.

Please make reservations for this place as it does get extremely busy on Sundays. Staff was excellent and attentive. I wasnt too impressed with the quality of the food. I could have gone to Denny's and it would have been comparable. Pancakes were dry and flat. Bacon was more fat than actual meat. I will not be back.

The Riverside location is much better. Food was the same, but the atmosphere, space and cleanliness left enough to be desired.

It has a great atmosphere! The food was delicious! I had the French toast and my husband had chicken and waffles. We're from Texas and never thought we would find some of the best fried chicken ever in California!

I miss this place! It's such a sweet vibe and good food! Love brunch here and bringing visiting friends

Here's what to expect subtract a star......you'll wait 10 mins for the hostess to to give you an underhanded annoyed hello and seat you. Your waitress/waiter (if you can figure out who it's supposed to be) will take 15 mins to tell you they're coming back with water and not even say hello or ask if you want to put in a drink order. Then after the server assistant/busboy just throws the water in front of you, your server will proceed to chat to the table next to you, who already been served, about wedding chapels while you still haven't even put a drink or food order in. After a total of 30mins, you'll get up to leave and your waitress (who's still having a personal conversation with the table next to you) will give you a confused/disgusting look as if you just farted in their birthday cake. Spitz across the street has fast, friendly service and delicious food.

I loved this restaurant! I went with my boyfriend during our vacation in Los Angeles! It was great!

Don't skip on breakfast! I meet with some buddies for a Sunday brunch. We can't skip on breakfast even though it 12PM. It's all good. There were just too many items to choose from. So, we decided to share family style that way we can sample everything. Best idea ever!

When the weather is nice sitting outside just adds to the already great experience. And when you want a good hearty meal there's no place like Home! That should be the restaurants motto. Here are a few items I tried:

Chicken and waffles
Need I say more? I love this combination. People think I'm crazy but hey I love waffles and fried chicken why not have both for breakfast. This is not Roscoe's but still delicious.

Banana Walnut Pancake
I'm not a pancake fan but this was also very tasty. The pancakes were soft and fluffy kinda like me. Just kidding. I prefer waffles over pancakes no doubt.

Sausage Omelet
Delicious! I will order this again next time I visit. I prefer a protein item, because most of the other items were all sweet. I'm not much of a sweets person but knock yourself out if you are you will be in paradise. I saw as some tables near us ordered dessert after brunch that's harcore. I usually wait for dinner to order dessert. Unless you are on a date they dessert might come first.

Vegetarian Omelet
Better than expected. I like all the vegs but honestly having a few pieces of meat on the side would make it much better.

We ordered Red Velvet pancakes but I was too full to try them. It seems like cheating to eat a cupcake flavor for breakfast, but if Sunday is your cheat day go big!

I loved the green tea. It completed my zen sunday brunch. I paid for Valet. I found parking far away but I was too lazy to walk. Fail. I always feel wierd using valet. I'm not a baller so when I do have a car valet worthy. In the words of Kayne "I will double parallel park that mother ** sideways".

Happy hour Weekday 3pm-7pm $6 Food (mac cheese, fried pickles, bruschetta, wings), $8 calamari. Drinks: $4 bud light, $5beer, $6 well and wine. HOME restaurants (both locations) ate overall great places with simple food, and great vibes.

Southern fried steak was excellent, as well as the French toast and fresh fruit.

Amazing find. This restaurant nestled into the Hollywood neighborhood (not exactly Hollywood, but not far from it) had great food and great service. Everyone was friendly, and the food lived up to the reviews. I'll make it a point to go back here next time I find myself in the area.

I love Wayfare Tavern for its casual surroundings and comforting food. We came here on a Saturday and ordered from their brunch menu this time.

Great place in Los Feliz to grab dinner at before attending a show at the Greek Theatre. The menu was very diverse and the food was amazing. We ordered the fish tacos & bbq burger which were both packed with tons of flavor. Loved the outdoor seating area and the waiting staff was excellent. Can t recommend this place enough! The $6 happy hour was a great deal especially when compared with the local dive bar we visited ($7 Bottled beers).

Oh the food was delicious!! Very busy place - make reservations tho. The staff were great!! We were able to sit and visit with our family from the area - didn't rush us off!! We were there for Sunday brunch.

I have always loved the food here. It's very all American. The fried chicken is so good. The huevos rancheros is my favorite dish. The homemade tortilla chips that comes with it are so good. Even the vegetarian chilaquiles is really good.

We've been coming here since approximately 2000 and the service has always been great. It gets very busy here.

Food is delicious, albeit a little pricey but the restaurant itself has a ton of outdoor seating, which is actually beautiful and refreshing, especially during the spring and summer time. The staff is always friendly and the service is very good. The waitstaff is happy to make suggestions and I never feel like they re trying to up-sell me. The only small kinks in this otherwise great restaurant are the parking (street only in Hollywood is a total bummer), and the often long waits. They do have a coffee shop next door and they will come collect you from it when your table is ready so that s definitely cool. 10/10 recommend highly!

Yum!! Flavor town is here! I can't wait to go back for dinner. I came for lunch and ordered the signature chicken sandwich. The macaroni salad is one to crave!

The food was delicious. I had the chicken sandwich with the chilli coleslaw. It was not dry at all. My friends ordered the onion burger, taco and chicken sandwich with egg on the side. Everything was good. I would come back.

Always a pleasant brunch place. Well made food, decent service, pleasant atmosphere. If it wasn't for those little seeds falling from the trees every few minutes.

Very good food in a wonderful ambience
The patio area is nice. Mature trees with a rustic vibe facade. Decent drink selection. Food is hip and came out quickly. All very fresh and delicious. Only slight issue was service - getting a refill on water and drinks and getting our bill took a lot longer than it should have. It looked like they had a shift change somewhere in the middle of serving us.

This restaurant provides extra-ordinary service and delicious food. The meals were delivered quickly and the prices were fair. I couldn't have been more impressed by this restaurant's customer service and food. This restaurant is very well-deserved for its five-star ranking and my highest recommendations. I'm definitely going to go back here. Thank you very much!

Love the adjacent coffee joint. Great brews and a cozy vibe. Free refills on some seriously strong coffee. Bring your work. Stay for the excellent eats. But don't tell too many peeps and ruin this.

Food was so good and very relaxing vibe. My wife loved the Cucumber Bloody Mary and Crab Cake Benedict. My son ate the Chicken & Waffles and they were good too from what I stole off his plate. Great place to go or a lazy day breakfast at noon.

One of my preferred places for American food. Got there near five, it wasn't very busy. This place has a nice feel to it.

Great outdoor patio atmosphere. Welcoming to all. A lot of good options on the menu. On a busy street but feels a little bit secluded. Spicy mac n cheese bites are a tasty appetizer. We settled on the Tequila lime chicken pasta and the chicken avocado sandwich with garlic fries and neither of us were disappointed. Definitely coming back.

This is one of our favorite spots to hit at night! The outdoor patio is about as good as it gets and they do an awesome job with the table layout. Foods great &drinks are awesome.

I love this place! We arrive a little before closing (prepared to eat fast!) but they let us take our time and even welcomed more tables after us. The prices are surprisingly low and drinks surprisingly strong! The outdoor seating was perfect, although a little dimly lit.

I was expecting a little hospitality from waiter he never once asked if i needed something else and i had to ask for my check from another waiter i am very dissapointed if they are not happy with their jobs they should find another one that they would enjoy. but the place is nice food not out of ordinary and coffee i couldnt even swallow tooooo bitter no matter how much cream and sugar i put on it.

I love this place. My best friend and I make it a point to meet up here atleast quarterly since we don't really eat chicken very often if at all. I had an issue with a piece of chicken that was slightly undercooked. It wasn't raw or anything and had I not been pregnant I'm sure it may have been okay to eat. Rob the manager took care of everything, its customer service like this that will keep us coming back.
