Exceptional food, quirky comphy vibe, a bit pricy, but once you are infused with the flavors, it all comes together, and you understand why you had to come out from behind your mask long enough to share a Lovely meal with someone you care about. Good choice!

They do fish tacos and they do it well! Super simple menu and very laid back Mexican-style little hole in the wall that will keep you coming back! I highly, highly, highly, suggest a potato log when they have them available. Super addictive! I do not, however, recommend their vegan potato tacos...super bland. The potatoes are just that, with virtually no spice, if any, added to pickup the meal. It tastes like biting into raw potato in a taco tortilla. The limitless spices from their spice and salsa bar might help but....not really. Other than that I usually go for the fish and potato log combo! The srhimp is fantastic as well but I'm cheap! The taquitos, I think, are frozen and too small to waste your time on. BE SURE to ask for the red/green salsas they make in house right next to where your order comes up! Cannot stress this enough! This spice is fantastic and I don't know why they do not make it more available at the salsa bar :( They keeps the precious hidden!

Not only do I really enjoy eating in this restaurant because they give students a discount, but they also serve really nice meals! The food was great for lunch, a little limited for breakfast, but the workers were super friendly, they also know how to shake the avocado, and the tomato was great for the oven-roasted.

Highly-rated restaurant in the whole area! We went at 7 in the evening and the food was still hot and ready to serve. The server was very friendly and took good care of us. The owner was also very friendly and professional. Thank you very much for your kindness, guys! Highly recommendable restaurant in the area!

Got an order of French toast (take out) and there was just one lonely looking piece. .maybe that's how the order comes idk. But I was hungry that day. There are several better breakfast spots around.

My suggestion to you the reader, go for a nice morning hike in Griffith Park and then come to this amazing breakfast cafe! Or just come around opening time because it gets crowded after a certain time frame. The staff is super nice and very accommodating with your order if you want to have changes made. I m giving a 5 star because I m usually there right when it opens after a nice hike. I ve driven past during brunch time and it gets crowded because it s just that good. Luckily I ve experienced it without the hungry crowds and I can tell you it s a much better experience that way. Check them out and see for yourself. Again, early mornings are the best times. ;)

Loved to atmosphere of outdoor seating! We got a table next to the fountain which was serene. Nicely shaded and cool even though it was hot out. We got 2 rounds of drinks and split some nachos which was perfect. Service was awesome.

It was my first time visiting Home Restaurant.
The food was great, the service was excellent.
There's no parking lot, only valet parking.
But the five dollars they charge you is reasonable.

This place sh!ts alllllllllll over pita kitchen (a place I use to think was amazing!) the food is cooked perfectly. I got the lula kabob and their almond/butter cookies to go. Tonny is the man. Sweetest guy! Really takes care of you. I will definitely be coming back! Thanks Tonny!!

Still open during Covid. Same great indoor / outdoor atmosphere, which is great if you're concerned since we know you're about 20 times less likely to contract it outside. But I've been loving grabbing cold brew to go at their new Guest House next door. Always friendly wait staff by the way. Exceptionally so...

We found this place after visiting Childrens Hospital for one of our sons many visists! We love the atmosphere and the food never disappoints. It's a nice way to not worry about our visit and enjoy time as a family! After our doctor visit we always say ok we're going Home! The food is healthy which is a plus and we have never been disappointed in anything we order!

Pork belly taco, carnitas taco the bomb. Great flavors but needed some sort of hot sauce. K wings excellent. Short rib sliders a definite order and reorder. Did not care for the "Donut" more a churro than a donut. Great vibe, lots of friendly people, bar staff great. Definitely coming back

A great place to eat and meet friends. The front is surrounded by trees and nature. It dose get crowded but worth the wait. They serve American cuisine comfort foods with good portion meals. The service is fast and prompt. Great bloody Mary's too. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time, so you can be seated outside on the patio. Great atmosphere and great food.

4.5 A good brunch place in LA, but not earth shatteringly amazing as the crowds and hefty wait on weekends would make you believe. Service is really good though and the brunch cocktails are tasty. $5.00 valet parking but you can usual scour the surrounding residential streets for a parking spot if you re willing to walk a block or two. Arrive early and avoid the crowds.

Great food for breakfast and lunch especially. H coffee shop is one of my go to spots to grab a cup of joe while walking around the neighborhood. Beware the cold brew! The level of caffeine in it is not for the novice coffee drinker.

Saturday, 09/07/2019 - We made a 7:00 PM reservation for four using the OpenTable app, arrived on time and were promptly seated outside as requested in our reservation. Drinks and food all excellent, as was the service from all the staff. Dining outside on the deck on a warm summer evening at this restaurant is something worth doing. There is valet parking or you can hunt around on the local residential streets and usually find something within a block, or two. Great job (again), Home!

Ventured out into the LA rain today for a late brunch at HOME in the Los Feliz area. As always the food was excellent and our server Emily T. did her best but the reception desk was at best disorganized and at worst discriminatory.

We checked in at 1:29 under the name Anthony and were told that it would be a 15 minute wait. We waited on the bench outside and were texted within 20 minutes that our table was ready. Upon checking into the front desk we were asked if we were okay with being seated outside, being presented the option I asked if it was possible to be seated indoors and was then told it would be another wait of up to 30-40 minutes. We agreed to be seated at a table for two outdoors by the fountain.

Shortly after being seated and ordering our beverages a table was moved next to a us and another couple was seated. They were ALSO obviously cold and requested to be moved inside. Within 5 minutes they were moved indoors. We flagged down the young lady from the front desk and requested again to be moved indoors, she said it would be a 40-50 minute wait, we said that would be okay with us. We asked if in the meantime it was possible to turn on a heat lamp and were told that they were a fire hazard to turn on.

Another party of two was seated next to us, an older woman with her adult son, they requested to be moved indoors. After another 5 minutes they began looking for their server. Unable to locate her they told one of the receptionists that they wanted to let their server know that they wouldn't be ordering at the table and were waiting to be moved indoors. They continued to be seated at their table and within a few minutes were moved indoors.

I am not sure the exact reason why two parties that were seated after us were seated indoors before us but unlike previous visits our experience today was extremely subpar. The food was great as usual but within a few minutes of being served everything was cold from the weather and items that could have been adjusted to be better in those weather conditions like the butter were served nearly frozen cold. By the time we warmed up the butter enough to serve with bread, the bread was very cold.

My partner and I really enjoy the setting and the food at Home but it was very uncomfortable for us to be repeatedly dismissed by your staff whom was ready to accommodate other guests in a much more expedient and professional manner that welcomed them rather than ignored them. I do not see us visiting Home again after this experience but hope our comments will make their way back to your management in a way that will lead to meaningful change of attitude towards how to prioritize your guests requests that seems fair and not discriminatory.

Best fried chicken and waffle I've had in LA! The only fried chicken and waffle I've had here. But really tasty, good portion size. Waited about 20min at 11am on a Saturday for 2 people. Prices are fair, especially for a restaurant that look this nice.

There is $3 valet here if desired. Parking doesn't seem too difficult with plenty of residential parking within a couple blocks.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and we would have returned again and again if we had stayed for a longer period of time. The service was extraordinary! The wine was also to die for, and at the restaurant, the workers were welcoming, courteous, and attentive to our needs. I will go there whenever I am in this part of town!

Excellent! I would surely recommend your restaurant to all of my family and friends. I was feeling delighted when I tasted your grilled ribs and beefsteak. The taste was so good, and I thanked your chief for preparing it. The place is so wide and classy. The over service was so satisfying. Keep it up! Cheers for your success!

Go for the ambiance and the fact that they utilize the Yelp waitlist. Stay for a cocktail and a tasty bread bowl.

Fisherman's Wharf is full of tourist traps - the good news is that Fog Harbor isn't one of 'em. Legit seafood, water views, linen tablecloths, etc. And they have "world famous" chowder.

Even on a Saturday morning, the wait for a table for 2 was only 15 minutes; the perfect length for a stroll down Hillhurst. There's an abundance of outdoor seating. Some people may really dig the decor, but I've never been a huge fan of the "polished rustic" look, where you can tell they spent a lot of money to make sure that the "weathered" sign has the perfect amount of rust on it.

Regardless, the healthy scramble did what it did best by being tasty and hearty, but I've never seen Chicken and Waffles cooked so immaculately. Whatever they did to deep fry the chicken made for one of the crispiest and thickest skins I've seen.

Also great coffee.

And am I so glad it did! Dang, their spicy chicken is soooo good. Popeyes and Chick-fil-a shouldn't be compared to this glory. The chicken is fat, tender, and juicy. Plus, the cole slaw does just enough to add crunch to the whole flavor experience.

One of the best atmospheres in LA for me.

Food is good. Breakfast is best. Go during the week of possible or wait an eternity on weekends.

Small & intimate restaurant. Feels like you're in a tree house. Only ever been for breakfast and lunch. Never a disappointment. Weekends are usually busy, so plan accordingly so you wont have to wait too long. Parking can be a hassle so I'd suggest Uber or Lyft.

Home is a tremendously cozy place to eat when it's hot outside, which is what most often is in Los Angeles. Home shows up between the yards in films / series and then it is always the outdoor dining that is the focus. The food is good, but I guess that sweetpotato fries are never hot enough ... But they have other dishes. One tip is not to sit closest to the fish in the middle, then you get the smell from the little pond on the bargain.

Simply Delicious! First visit with many more to come. A friend recommended that we meet at home for Brunch.

I was a bit reluctant at first as I could not set a reservation. Home does except reservations but, not during Sunday busy brunch hours. I get totally understand why that works.

I recommended that we get there before 11 am. That choice was spot on. When I arrived at 10:45 am there was no waiting but that all changed just after 11 am.

I was great by a gracious host and was sat at nice two top outside. This is more of an Alfresco dining venue however, there are a few inside tables. On this particular day it was a bit cool and windy but with the heat lamps and the restaurant's layout it was comfortable.

I ordered the Mediterranean Frittata. It was delicious and paired with a lightly tossed side of arugula. It was an excellent choice and quite different from my more traditional American breakfast taste (eggs, bacon, & toast).

The servers, as well as, the front of the house staff were consistently on point and eager to deliver a full dining experience.

Look no further if you are looking for good food and service. Just head "HOME" where you'll be treated like family.

Food was fantastic, cold brew did the trick. Parking isn't ideal, but that's just LA. So heavily recommend. The ambiance is very "old grandma or weird aunts house ", but welcoming nonetheless

This was really good. The friend shrimp! A must. The fish sandwich was good but not amazing. The key lime pie amazing. I want to go back and try everything. Generally great vibe and great service too.

The service was amazing , the menu is insane it was hard to choose and the environment even on a rainy day is beautiful. I think I just found my new favorite place. $61 for my girl and I including coffee, drinks and amazing food.

I've been to Home's so many times that I've lost count... and each and every visit has been solid. The service is friendly and efficient, and Pat herself (the owner) is very sweet. I've ordered and enjoyed a variety of items on the breakfast menu and never had a bad meal. Overall, this is a solid place to get a good, well-priced, tasty breakfast in North Beach!

Cool place, great vibe. It's built in the middle of old trees with tables nestled in a little courtyard. Awesome brunch. The Benedict is terrific. Parking isn't very good (only street parking available which can be hard to find), but then again all of Los Feliz is like that.

I'm not sure what is better here, the food or ambience, both are very good! From 3 to 7 pm weekdays they have $5 Happy Hour deals, beverages & food! Yay! I had a great Hefeweizen for $5! 4 if us agreed it was awesome, I definitely recommend! Most dinners were $15 to $20 ea. On average. Very reasonable for such a nice meal.

We wanted our friends to be able to visit this place again. Two weeks ago, my sister and I were at this cheap Korean restaurant. We were so delighted with their marvellous Samgyeopsal and their spicy ramen. This was the first time we had encountered Korean cuisine of this kind. The price was so fine, and we were so fascinated by it. Many thanks!

This is one of the most beautiful venues. I love the color scheme and the customer service is fantastic. The food has always been great, not to mention their delicious deserts. I look forward to attending this place in the future.
