Theatre and congresscenter De Maaspoort Venlo Review

The performance was great, it was just pretty cold. The air conditioning was set too cold. Don't have a vote today.

A nice theater with friendly people. Free and neat wardrobe

We have been coming here for Carnival for years. Always well assessed. The reason that I now only give 2 stars is because of the completely ridiculous urethra: an arm band of 2.30 per person per day to use the toilet. A family with 2 children spends more than 30 euros for 3 days of carnival to be allowed to pee.

A wonderful place both aesthetically and for services offered

Been to different shows in this theater. Drinks and organization always well arranged. Sound and light are normal too, unfortunately during the last show I had problems with the sound

After the show you can still have a drink but the atmosphere is not great. Other locations in Venlo attract more.

Watched the sunset from there and it was truely beautiful. The bitterballen recommended by Dan were also really delicious. Coming back for sure

Very good organization, nice room and nice environment

The performance we had was great.
The foyer and the public areas look good.
Some things that happened badly:
Upon entering the first decay was already visible, the rubber seal of the sliding door hung loose when fluttering.
In the Rabobank room the chairs in the first rows were all loose to wobble. This gave an uncomfortable feeling. In addition, the chairs are not comfortable. After a while you are happy when you can stand up again.
Furthermore, on the corner chair of the 2nd row the armrest of wood disappeared and you lie with your arm on a cold piece of iron. Moreover, it is uncomfortable if one armrest is higher than the other.
In the room you see damage to walls and floor in various places.
Because of this, it looks like you are in a building that is 100 years old. Maintenance and repairs seem to be essential.

Beautiful building and the staff is super friendly. I was last able to admire a presentation exhibition here and it was really super beautiful and well arranged.

Top location for a party, top sound installation during airwalk festival

Attended a show by Boermanstheater in a hall of the same name. Heerlihk enjoyed a night of dialect theater. Good acoustics. People sit on top of the stage in the upper ring.

Well. Expensive and it stinks in the lobby. Heavily subsidized wannabee theater with a very moderate program ... Venlo only has carnival as a cultural item.

Normally I always find it very pleasant in the Maaspoort. But during Jocus's Pronk session I was sitting in a place where it was very drafty and cold. That was a pity. I don't know if I've caught my cold there!

I had imagined a lot different at a liberation concert. Given the average age the music was much too loud, soloists hard to understand. The hearing aids were turned off quickly. There were people with fingers in their ears. I felt that this was organized by hearing aid manufacturers for future customers. Very unfortunate with such a top orchestra and good soloists ....

A beautiful location, suitable for the big names. Especially since the renovation there is a stage for big names.

Fantastic venue! It is located in the city centre. Easily accessible and there is a car park near it.

Nice, neat theater in the center of Venlo. Nice programming with a nice mix of commercial and experimental. From cabaret to dance, from music to lectures and from theater to musical - you will find it all in the Maaspoort.
