After a long time I returned to the theater frog. Performance in the small hall. Fine benches for a one-hour performance. The foyer is nicely decorated and decorated! Definitely recommended to have a drink before the show.

Due to previous advertising campaigns and their selfish thinking that the ones above their customers, I strongly advise against this Theater.

Very unfriendly, no understanding of other people or of today's society.

Not worth a single star!

Last week my partner and I went to join the Vertel!: Storytellingwalk Utrecht held by Soula Notos.

While my partner speaks Dutch fluently, I just recently started learning it and made the mistake if booking a walk that would be held in Dutch only.
Not wanting to miss out on it though we stayed with the group and I can honestly say that it was one of my best decisions!!!

Miss Notos offered to translate or even hold the whole session in English just because of me (I declined and instead used it as a learning experience and only asked for translation when needed).

Miss Notos was a wonderful storyteller and showed us many new places and the stories behind them, making me feel like I really know Utrecht now! Her anecdotes were hilarious and We just enjoyed our time with her!

I can seriously recommend this theater to anyone who wants to learn something new!

About the Covid situation:
In the lobby hand sanitizer can be found. There is enough space to safely socially distance. Upstairs one can find the cafe area where the lovely staff serves delicious drinks and offer information if needed!
We felt incredibly safe in this space and would visit the theater again without any doubt

Went to a danceshow for kids lepeltje lepeltje . I just love seeing my kids happy with the excited happy faces.
After they hopped on the stage and played endlessly.

Then we did some colouring in the kid friendly coffee area to wind down.

Perfect really

Nice little theater. The interior was very cozy, and the viirstelling was certainly not disappointing. You can drink tea in the restaurant before and after the adjustment. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo.

Nice show in the series 'Kikker Kiest' seen from Kompagnie Kistemaker. The best shows of the past season come by once to open the new season. Rightfully chosen, enjoyed parts 7, 8 and 9 and very curious about the following three (closing) parts.

1619 make it short of Alum was really fantastic! The history of 1619 is revived! Johan van Oldenbarnevelt became the victim of a political murder. Both riots and politics prevent the Prince Maurits van Oranje from combating this tragic death of Johan van Oldenbarnevelt.

The decapitation scene was a scene in which you got a lump in your throat, not only because it was a political murder but also because Hiske Eriks (Jan served Johan van Oldenbarnevelt) showed so realistic sadness that went through the bone. ... Beautiful scene!

In the end, the performance ends with the same sound and light as in which Johan is beheaded. Only Prince Maurits van Oranje now stands here in ...

An impressive, funny, sad, tragic performance. I definitely recommend the triptych!

Cozy foyer, I also found the theater hall intimate. I found the presentation of the 2 ladies looking for our own role in the developments in the environment surprising and at times amusingly confronting and at the same time serious enough to keep thinking about it.
