It's so fun I went there with my mom. Adults do their own thing while kids play games. then after that adults can play with the kids.

I'm here 6-7 days a week and I don't have any complaints. My kids love both the child watch and the fit zone. We love to visit the family pool. I LOVE the cycle classes with Ben and cardio hip hop with Juan. The only issues I've ever had have been with other people attended the gym which the YMCA would have no control over and have been a rare occasion anyways. They have a huge variety of weights and machines. I've rarely had to wait for something. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. I've lost 80lbs since I started. I did a few sessions with the trainer as well who was knowledgeable and made perfect 1 hour work outs to fit my time and my goals. I recommend it to anyone looking for a gym.

Gentrification is the MO of the place, and it is not as family friendly as it claims to be.

Pool was actually very warm and my 2 year old son absolutely loved it!

Has something for everyone. Not flashy, but I'm there to workout, not do my hair and makeup and take pics of myself in the mirror.

The Staff is great and the Y offers so many great activities that it would be hard pressed to not recommend it. They offer finacial aid for those who qualify so there is literally no reason to not sign up and enjoy everything the YMCA has to offer.

This place is great because it has a swimming pool, weight room that has both free weights, machines and a cardio room. It also has a day care center. This place has a small parking lot with wheel chair accessible ramp and handicapped parking. It is very clean inside and the staff are nice people. They also offer different after school programs for kids. They even have a indoor basketball courts. I had an interview here a few months ago to be a certified personal trainer. But I ended up not getting the job. It would be great if I did get the job here cause this place is really a nice place inside. Back In 2004 i had an internship thing here at the fitness center for my college home work that went great.

Awesome to have a community focused facility available here in Holyoke. Family-feel and great staff here to help out. Clean and friendly environment. Nice variety of gym equipment, indoor pool, designated fitness rooms for yoga and other classes. Something to do for every age. Awesome visit!!

A clean safe and quiet place to work out. Friendly and helpful staff. The locker rooms are always clean as well as the bathrooms.

My kids attend summer camp there and everything about it is just great! The staff are incredible my kids absolutely love it!

Very friendly and accepting place so far! I've just started going here to swim laps. I like the fact that this is the most inter-racial gym I've been to. I feel very comfortable here. I am hoping to meet other like-minded gay men here, while keeping this a welcoming and enjoyable place for all.

The staff here are very friendly and the facility is well run and very accessible. I come here just about daily for years now!

A little small but has the basics to get a decent free weight workout in. Squat rack, Smith machine, flat bench, free weights to 100 lbs.

If you have any reservations about going to a Y, compared to say a fancier gym, there's no need. Just come in and you'll see this place measures up just as well as any other place you've been. It's much more reasonable, and we have a great time and get a great work out there.

My son enjoyed summet camp and we felt like it was safe and engaging. Looking forward to going to the pool and programs.

Kids waste ur time getting in the way of some workouts. They load up weights on a machine, then sit on their phones. Other than that annoying stuff, it's nice

Great place for exercise, reasonable cost and very diverse participants (racial/ethnic, age range, disabled/abled).

They have all kinds of classes and the people that work there are awesome, the air conditioning needs some work and the weight room is too small.

Love the Holyoke YMCA. The people are what make it truly great. My only wish is that you stayed open later on weekends, especially on Sundays. I am often wanting to come and swim, but the pool closes at 1:30PM! Way too early for me.

Great community atmosphere created by many wonderful knowledgeable people, making working out enjoyable while reaching personal goals. The variety of equipment, classes, 2 pools, sauna, steam room....Love it!!!

I really recommend for swimming and working out (exersize).Also has personal trainers and other fun groups to be in. But one flaw is that you have to have a membership to do those things but overall the YMCA is awesome.

The membership is too expensive to have the pool and the building closed so early, specially on the weekend. I go there because there is no other place around. I don't recommend it.

Alot of stuff. It very close to where I live. The people there treat you very nice everyone is so friendly. You make good friends I been going there for over 27 years. I wouldn't trade it for any other place..they upgrade all theire exercise machine..very clean and calm place...they also have trainer...when you need help on any machine they have someone there all the time to help you out...very kids friendly..just call and they will help you out.. the best ever...
