Our favourite pub by far! The food cooked by Matt is amazing and we're making our way through the menu on an almost weekly basis! Jas is perfect front of house along with her staff. Highly recommend you make a visit. Oh and they're super dog friendly too!
Sooo much choice on the menu we nearly left but eventually settled on our choices. We weren't disappointed. Very tasty meal, not cramped in bar area. Thoroughly enjoyed it thank you
Picturesque pub in a country setting. Fields all around, Good choice of food, beers and nice wine. Seating available outside, recommended.

An ancient pub located in an idyllic rural setting which has been serving real ale since the 17th century to locals and travellers alike. Tim and his team at The Yew Tree have a simple sense of purpose which is to provide good quality local ales, creative dishes using local ingredients, and a good selection of wines, all at sensible prices in austerity Britain. There is a warm and friendly welcome for visitors, and service at the bar and the table is accompanied by much good humour with a genuine desire that customers will enjoy their visit, and hopefully return to this charming hostelry. My wife and I will certainly return with our friends, and long may Innkeeper Tim and his happy team at The Yew Tree prosper!

Had a great lunch. Very friendly accommodating service, dogs allowed.
Excellent variety of dishes and reasonably priced. Very memorable lunch. We would love the recipes especially the apricot, toffee and chocolate bread pudding. The staff were attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend. Thank you all for making our 98 year old Dad's day so enjoyable.
Worth going out of your way for a visit. Decent pint and decent looking food. I hope to be back for a bite to eat some time.

The out door garden is a sun trapand leads out to an open field that has a small play park. Small, but comprehensive selection of lager and ale on tap. In door seating is cosy and there is a larger dining room if you wanted to host a larger group (post Covid obviously).

Came recommended and didn't disappoint. My girlfriend is a foodie and thought it was the best food she had ever had. We had three courses, all were delicious. Lovely staff and nice beer.

Quite crowded even on a Weds lunchtime which kinda tells you a lot. Dogs to fuss, good coffee with good service. Food looked a little pricey, but definitely somewhere I would try again.
