Always a solid choice of chain restaurant. As long as your expectations are reasonable you'll be happy here. Varied menu and good service. The bartenders are pretty bad though so don't expect too much from them and stick with basic cocktails or beer.

Best selection of beers hands down! The food is very good as well. They have pretty good happy hour deals but happy hour ends at 6 so get there early. They have a 360 bar and very knowledgeable and nice bar tenders. I highly recommend this.

It's a yardhouse. It looks like a yardhouse. The food is yardhouse food: i.e., pretty tasty, but kind of overpriced, and probably the same as you could get at a yardhouse anywhere else. I'd probably be more excited about the place if I liked beer, given that they do have an impressively wide selection of it (though if I liked beer, I'd still probably rather go to Congregation Alehouse down the block, which also has an impressive selection of beer, and also way more unique food for cheaper.)

If you've never been to Yard House, it's a must visit. Even if you have, this is probably their best location for ambiance. It's right on the harbor with gorgeous sunset views. The Yard House is one of my all time places to eat at, with more draft options than you can shake a stick at. As I recall it's something over 200, and it's a full range from all types of beer, from the very bitter all the way to the ones that don't taste like beer. Hard ciders, dessert beers like choco and raspberry and the list goes on, and on...and on...yea I think it's like 4 pages worth. Not to be outdone by the drinks they have an amazingly large food menu with just about everything under the sun on offer. Everything I've ever had was very good, but not to be missed is the onion ring tower and the artichoke. Delicious! The brownie desserts are sin in a tin, and the seasonal specials are not to be missed. Can't recommend this place enough.

Just had a celebratory dinner. Hostess service wasn t the greatest, the manager was kind enough to seat us being that we were delayed for a long wait. The service was fine but we did not receive the best service. The food was great but what ruined the whole evening was being idle by the host stand while we waited for our party to return from the restroom and leaving to find out we needed validation to receive the first 2 hours for free.
This is something that should have been communicated from the host stand guests are leaving.

Also, being that the server was busy tending to his large groups of tables, we were unable to ask for a birthday treat.

Anyways, The restaurant should consider having the servers offer to provide validation stamp to then customers. It seems that a lot of vehicles that were in front of us were also not aware of the validation requirement and the cashier will swipe your card prior to telling you your total.

Oh have cash on you, they will charge you a dollar for transaction less than $2.

Definitely coming back here! The drinks were amazing, the bartender suggested the best Jameson Whiskey shot with peach schnapps. And the Poke nachos are to die for! If you love poke or if you've never had it you must try!

We had a waiter named Corey, nice guy, really good waiter. our two kids has the cheese pizza with a side of fries (always a hit), my husband had the shrimp fried rice, and I ordered the shrimp with vodka sauce and Angela hair pasta. Husband ordered an Arnold Palmer, I got a soda water and our kids had two apple juices, the Arnold Palmer was not a pleasure unfortunately. The food, to be honest it could have used a pinch more salt but at the same time was okay. I added more Parmesan cheese because it naturally has more salt so that made up for it. My husband said, his dish was a 6/10 could have used some teriyaki sauce, something with more dominance of flavor in the plate. No complaints from the kiddos my daughter devoured her fries and her brothers and my son ate his pizza without fuss. We had an awesome table where we could see the outside but not he subject to the elements. We're coming back, there's more food to try.

Just gotta say this is where you want to be on a Sunday evening. Outside patio has such a beautiful view of the boats put on the dock. Btw wait can be up to an hour.

Service is always good.

Unexpectedly a quite romantic place to have shared a great meal in a wonderful atmosphere with my lovely sister. We were fortunate enough to have our seats facing the bay windows while the sunset over the bays Marina. As the service goes it was exceptional however priced a bit extravagant. The food was excellent and how can anyone put a price too high when you haven't seen your sister in 3 years?! Worth the trip from anywhere. ~V.

Pros-Great view of boats and folks walking on the pathway as they enjoy their day.
Cons-The prices have risen lately for food and the portions have gotten smaller.
The staff is still friendly and helpful but the convenience and location of this Yard House makes the wait unbearably long most of the time.

On a recommendation from our hotel, we went to the Yard House for an early dinner. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the view of the harbor and the lighthouse. The food and service were terrific!! Would highly recommend it when in the Long Beach area.

Kitchen open late, great view, and yummy view. What more can you ask for? Just along the marina and surrounded by other attractions, this place makes it pretty much the icing on the cake to end the night. Most restaurants especially on a sunday night close early - some only have bars open, but dont serve food anymore. Here, they serve drinks and food late!

If you can find parking along the street at night when the meters are off, then youre in luck. There is a lot of parking in the lot, too but you it comes with a small price. Parking validation is limited up to 90 minutes, and sometimes if youre lucky and you leave late enough, there isnt a parking attendant anymore in the exit, but thats very rare.

The appetizers here is enough to fill you. My friend and i came in very hungry, and we're kind of the slow eaters that take a while to finish the first course before deciding for the next... so we took a crack at the appetizers. I had the california roll. she had the hummus. each order was enough to fill us: the california roll especially. Now, they dont make sushi like other sushi restaurants do. Their california roll is like a sushi burger bun on a bed of deep fried rice. I couldnt finish an order and i still had to take the rest home.

Their mules taste especially delicious, too. I always get a mule everywhere i go, but they have flavored mules here, so I got a hawaiian mule - has a pinch of pineapple.

Overall, good experience. great location, and everything around it us fun, to visit too.

Great menu for food and beers. I had a sculpin grapefruit ipa. Very refreshing! The beer selection is amazing. I was with two people who are vegetarian and they had a lot of choices on this menu. Very good.

Dean is a great server! We're had a party of 30 and he didn't break a sweat. I know he had help, but he was our main server and he was just great at what he does! Thank you Dean for a great evening!

Beautiful patio view of the Shoreline Village small harbor. Loud & lively inside but outside is more quiet & conversation is easy. Great service with good variety of dishes on the menu. Highly recommend if you're in the DTLB neighborhood!

Great location, food is tasty, lots and lots of beers to choose from...but... Ordered a pint of beer and it arrived just before my food. One would think it wouldn't take too long to get a glass of beer. Inmho Yard House was better before it became part of the Olive Garden chain.

This is a great spot to enjoy one of many beers on tap, good food and sports always on the TVs. This place can get crowded, especially the outdoor patio area on a beautiful day so depending on the time there could be a wait. Great location though, right next to the ocean.

Excellent atmosphere, service and food! We enjoyed the Spinich cheese dip and pizza. Waitress (Alex) was super helpful and friendly! We sat outside and the dinner view was amazing! Highly recommend!

The food here is mostly excellent with a huge menu that has many different types of main dishes as well as lots of yummy appetizers. They also have a huge selection of craft beers and other alcoholic drinks. Their Happy Hour is one of the best as it includes not only several drinks and appetizers but also several of their main dish pizzas.

What you need to know about Yard House and the reason I give it four stars as a restaurant review is because the Yard House is as much a sports bar as a restaurant so it tends to be loud. It's not a place to hangout and have normal dinner conversations unless you enjoy talking loud (almost yelling). Also it gets very busy. Service is usually still great but sometimes just because there's so much going on you might have to wait longer than you'd like to get refills or make a request.

This particular Yard House is super busy during dinner and weekends with waits sometimes being more than an hour so plan accordingly. Parking here is paid - they do validate 2 hours for about $2 but during those super busy times it may be hard or impossible to find parking.

I love the Yard House food. Their menu is great and food is always prepared perfectly. But I don't go often because with so many other choices I don't feel the need to wait for a long time and I don't love the noise level.

Server was outstanding, Cuban sandwich was moist, flavorful, and filling, and they even showed my wife and I some live by making a special peach/apple cobbler with "Happy Anniversary" written out in Cocoa!

Go...eat..then go again and tip your server well!

Place was very clean and nice. The waitresses where very polite to my group. The food was amazing with everything we ordered, nothing was under cooked or cold when they gave us our food. Hands down this might be my new favorite place to eat.

They took too long with our food! We went around 2pm, sat outside by their door and every time they opened the door to come out it smelled really bad. Like old musty beer or something. Yea kinda gross. Then they brought us the wrong beer and charged us for it! We had that taken off quick. Glad we reviewed the check before paying

I loved Yard House so much! They *used* to have such wonderful menu items, and the happy hour was bomb! The drinks haven t changed but the food certainly has. They are no longer a family run business but became cooperated with Red Lobster/ Olive Garden and now the food is just bland, basic, and shipped in pre prepped. The quality has gone down, the portions are a bit smaller, and the price is a bit too high for what you re getting. This was the original and first yard house, so it s really upsetting to loose such a treasure as it was the place I went to just about once a week. The last thing I had was the poke nachos. It would be better if they served the poke in its own bow with the crisps on the side, the crisps got soggy and the fish was marinated but could have used a little bit more of sesame oil. The French dip sandwich was good, but the dipping sauce wasn t as flavorful, just kinda brown warm water. The wait to get in Friday though Sunday can be insane, anywhere from and hour to 3. If you go, go during happy hour.

I had the smokey pineapple cocktail (I don't think that's what it's called but that's what it tastes like) and it was delicious (if you like smokey drinks). It tastes like someone poured campfire smoke into pineapple juice. Mmm. Also had the chicken avocado sandwich which was very good. Had it with the caesar salad - not bad! Fantastic atmosphere of course - we sat outside and watched the boats mosey around with their Christmas lights on.

I definitely recommend this place if you want to relax and watch the boats.
