Incredible staff members along with great food and comfort.

Comfortable bed, jacuzzi type bath tub, fast meal service and great gardens.

Met a friend here for coffee. Very comfortable lobby/reception area. Staff very friendly & helpful. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Spotlessly clean.

Great room, staff and food. Everything a traveler could need.

Fabulous Hotel , children can play outside .. Highly recommended fanastic view lovely staff beautiful food , great experience at my niece's christening .

They did a nice job doing it up since we last stayed there very good rules for C- 19

Honestly the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was large and beautiful and the bed was so comfy! We only stayed for two nights but wish we could have stayed longer!

This was my favorite hotel on a tour of the UK and Ireland. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Has a great bar/restaurant on premises. Enjoyed seeing the animals on the grounds. Would have taken advantage of the spa if i had more time.

The Woodlands hotel is one of the best hotels around! I warm welcome from moment you arrive, the staff are so friendly and helpful! I had the most amazing day here for my wedding over two years! Excellent ! Myself and my husband had amazing day! There nothing to much for this hotel!

Can not fault the hotel.
My longest stay was 3 months straight and in total I've stayed for longer than a year.
It a family run large hotel.
All the staff are friendly and helpful, the bar is a nice place to sit in the evening although there are night's with live music which brings in a crowd and there are a lot of functions at the weekend but you know if a place is busy then there's a good reason!
The restaurant has very good food and a good menu, in all my time staying here I've only twice had poor service but that was because they where serving large parties in the private function rooms, didn't need to complain as the staff knew they couldn't please everyone and the drinks at the table came completely.
Lot's of coach parties from lot's of countries come and stay for the week so I can only conclude it's a good starting point for tourist day trips.
If I had to pick fault then the only thing I could say is that it's to far away from the local village of Adare to walk but that's it

This place was okay, not too uncomfortable stopover, but wouldn't go back. Rowdy wedding party, shooting outside our room, and beer bottles strewn outside weren't ideal, nor was having a step to call over between bed and en suite. Electrics have problems and trip out when too many brew up, but staff blame guests

Have eaten in Timmy Mac's several times, very good food, lovely staff, great service.

Mixed bag.
Reception staff, restaurant, bedroom (although a ridiculously long walk from the reception and carpark) and surroundings all very good, but felt a little ripped off when we chose to pay more for a hotel with 'spa facilities'. The spa facilities were closed, the pool was fairly average, the changing rooms a disaster zone, and general maintenance of the hotel was average at best.
I wouldn't avoid, but don't visit if you think you are getting a spa hotel ... It's not.

Went for Afternoon Tea in the Woodlands Hotel Adare it was just fab. Staff were excellent. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely place to eat the food is excellent and so is the atmosphere and the service is second to none. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful I don't ever want to leave when I go there

Poor customer service both girl behind the reception desk were very rude girl that was there when I checked in was very short and rude to me I had to ask her myself if she wanted me to pay now or later.girl at the desk in the morning when I was checking out was also very short with me.didnt say hello didn't ask me how my stay was no small talk was done and no goodbye was said

Fantastic spa so relaxing and the
therapists were lovely also the products used were excellent my skin felt great after my treatments. Will definitely return in the near future.

Myself and my wife had a lovely experience at the Fitzgeralds. Food excellent. Very friendly helpful staff throughout. Hotel spotless and plush. Staff sanatising Seats, Tables and Hands constantly. We felt the staff are a credit to the hotel.

Had our sons communion celebration here good spot great food and we stayed the night as a family aswell and enjoyed the leisure centre the next morning

I've been to the woodlands several times over the past few years and I am yet to find a fault. If it's afternoon tea, a function, lunch in Timmy macs, a drink in the bar, you are going to be looked after like you are the only one in the hotel.
Recently I was at a wedding in the woodlands. I couldn't fault them. Between the food, drinks reception, service and of course the gorgeous table layouts, everything was amazing.
The Fitzgerald make you feel like your at home, nothing is rushed or put a side your always number 1 priority.

I paid for a superior room but it was far from superior the surroundings to the bath was falling apart. The paint on the ceiling was falling off the back of the bathroom door was all cracked. But the staff were very friendly. Our food wasn't great either. Chicken tasted like it was boiled not grilled. My daughter's chicken wings were deep fried in batter!! Leisure club with swimming pool steam room & Jacuzzi were all great. Grounds of the hotel were beautiful. But bedroom really let us down, sorry.

Ate at the Bistro. Service was quick and friendly. Had the salmon with seasonal veggies. Salmon was tasteless, accompanying pesto sauce was bland. Veggies were fine.

Had the Snickers ice cream cake for dessert. It was delicious. My white had the dark chocolate fondant which was excellent. Perfectly baked with a liquid centre. But it came with a vanilla ice cream scoop that tasted very cheap and icy.

Small but lovely petting zoo beside the parking lot.

With a little more care in the food this would warrant a 5-star.
