Consistent good quality food and excellent service. We love going there.

Perfect nid-week unassuming restaurant. The playpark for kids is good.

Willing staff, generally. Good lunch braai sandwiches. Serves coffee, alcohol, etc. A bit pricey for what it is.

Great steaks (the Vrystaater is amazing) and shakes. Delicious burgers and salads too. The perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner whilst the kids enjoy the play area. All complimented with friendly and helpful wait staff.

Excellent waiters and waitresses. Excellent service. The place is right next to the main road, but you would never say, it's nice and quiet with soft music playing in the background. The food is amazing and you don't wait more than 25mins. I do recommened their cheesecake. Strongly recommend this place, there is enough parking. I do have one positive criticism, there is only one toilet. So make sure you empty your bladder before arriving there. Great place!

We absolutely LOVE The Eatery. A lovely relaxed atmosphere and an inclusive menu with something for everyone including plantbased me. Their specialities are obviously their magnificent steaks, ribs and burgers all cooked over real coals, no gas flavoured steaks here folks!! Service is superb and kids are more than catered for. Probably the best family restaurant in Cape Town!!

Thee food is great. Problem: a waitress served us water from the tap it was white like milk, she then informed us that we aren't allowed to drink tap water and told us our water was from the tap.

To enjoy your meal, avoid the lunch time rush.. Seating outside is the best..

Here you can get a substantial meal for R69 if you're on a budget (!!! ) or splurge if in the mood. Warm atmosphere created by wood fired ovens or choose to sit outside on a warmer day. Recommended

Excellent brekkie ("The Grill") and very good service in this friendly neighbourhood eatery (so to speak). Good for kids too with the communal play area shared by three cafes.

Had a lovely meal here for my sisters birthday. Food was excellent, but service was a little inattentive. Had to go to the bar directly a few times to get more drinks. Our milkshakes only arrived well after our mains. But overall, a great time.

Food and service pretty good. Thought maybe a little overpriced for the small meals we had. If you got kids great area at the back but if you prefer a less chaotic noisy experience try the front of the restaurant.

Didn't get a chance to eat here as I called 2 hours prior to arriving to make a booking but phone kept on going to voicemail. When we arrived they just brushed off the fact that oh we were already fully booked. Poor service.

Ordered ribs from your branch last week - was really disappointed because there was a hair and a dead fly on one stack of ribs. Meat was very tough too tasted as if it was cooked the day before and just reheated. Only reason I'm rating 2 starts is because I always used to love your food but my latest experience was not good at all. I won't be back.

Great place for dinner, especially with kids as there is a jungle gym outside. Food is very tasty, although on the expensive side, and service is also great! They run great drinks specials during happy hour (5-6pm). The restaurant is quite small and can get busy over weekends so reservations are recommended.

Very happy with food and friendly service. Nice little play area for kids. Lovely menu : I have only tried their starters, but chili poppers were top class. (You can choose wrapped in bacon or breadcrumbs). Grilled calamari was to die for and will def be back for more.

Pleasant waiters, not overly attentive once we're seated. Once we got their attention, they were quick to respond though.
Fantastic chocolate milkshake. Triple Choc - Very filling. Seemed like choc pieces, choc icecream, choc syrup. I thought I had died and gone to choc heaven. Can't recall the price, but it is pricey.
Chicken sandwich was an open sandwich, for R75. Chips included.
Overall, good taste for this sandwich. Some pieces of chicken were flavourless - this could just be how the spices were used.

I would go back for the monster milk shake.

We pop in often after school for a treat. There is a good children's menu and great play area. It is situated outside so it is not suitable for wet weather. Summer time is a hit! The staff are attentive and friendly. The food is often slow in coming out. Luckily we are patient!

Steak was well-cooked, a perfect medium-rare as we required. Dessert was churros. Although they had the origin wrong (churros is a Spanish dessert, not American), the actual dish was quite good! Comfort sweet food at its best. Will be returning!

Pleasantly surprised by great burgers. The wood fired cooking really adds another dimension of flavor that other burger joints don't have. Worth a visit.
