Just spent two evenings this week and could not be more disappointed. The temperature hoovered around 110, we were not allowed to use the parking garage to park our car, even though the occupancy of the hotel was very low, we were told it More

We really loved our stay at The Westin Savannah Harbor! They a have super easy ferry across the river or a shuttle as well from the lobby area. We had a beautiful room with a view of the river and lots of room to accommodate our suitcases, etc. We were upgraded upon request due to our status. The drinks by the poolside were fabulous, and the staff were all very attentive. We had a slight issue with housekeeping not giving us bath cloths, but they sent some up right away. The valet staff were all especially sweet.

We stopped in for the Sunday brunch this past weekend. The food was good, and the variety was good, but it was a bit expensive in my opinion. Service was OK. All in all nothing special, but there were no glaring issues either.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Westin while at a conference. While there we had a issue and Dave (I believe that was his name) fixed our issue. During our conversation I mentioned that we would be celebrating my wife's birthday the next day. After he left the concierge called with excellent recommendations. The next day the hotel sent chocolate covered strawberries for her. We were both blown away by the professionalism from everyone that we encountered during our visit. When we travel to Savannah next it won't be a surprise that the Westin will be out choice. Excellent job!

I'm here for the The GCIC Training Association INC, Symposium for the week. My first time for the training, not my first time at the Westin. But, by far my worst experience ever! From what I was hearing today, this is not the first time that they were unprepared for the guests arriving from out of out-of-town. The "early" check in process took way too long. The rooms were not ready for the guests, we set in the lobby for 5 plus hours waiting on rooms to be prepared. After most of us had been on the road all day. They took our cell phone numbers telling us as soon as our rooms were available they'd call. No one did. I eventually went into the bar area for a drink and to get something to eat since I'd been sitting there for so long. The stove was not working properly so I was limited on what I could order.
* on a good note the staff in the bar area was extremely polite I did order salad and chips and dip with a drink and I was told anything else that I ordered was on them. So that was nice. I didn't feel like anything else besides a bath and bed.
I had to go to the front desk and almost cancel my reservation before a room was finally given to me. With no explanation why we were force to wait all afternoon other the original one given when we first came in the door. (The system was down) Just hope the rest off the week is better. Praying for a good remaining week.

First of all the place is kept like a 5 star facility, the staff is always with a smile and very helpful. The situation is across from Savannah River Street and provides hotel guest with a great view of Savannah, the port, the night life and makes it attractive to relax and enjoy the vacation. The golf course is great and every 20 minutes there is a boat waiting to take passengers across the river to the shops and nightlife.

Shower pressure wasn't good, coffee was not hot, zero room service, messed up on my card charge twice and a bunch of hidden fees. After we got home they still continued to charge my card and zeroed it out after had checked out and came home. This hotel will never happen again and I do not recommend it to anyone else.

The location is great with ample parking and a fantastic view of the river. The breakfast was week prepared and the service for breakfast was great. The meeting facilities are great with modern amenities and decor. The free water taxi makes it easy access from River Street and provides another element to the experience.

on our way home from the beach we decided to stop in Savannah for the night to rest and enjoy the city. we booked a room for over night at the Westin and we were beyond happy with our experience. we were on the 15th floor with a bay window view of the river. we loved watching the boats go by. the staff was outstanding EVERYONE was nice. we played in the pool which is both adult and very kid friendly. everything was clean and well kept. the location was good, you can take a fairy across the river or a 6 min drive to downtown. the only complaint is parking. the self parking lot is really far, and its 15 a day if you don't leave. more if you come and go as you please, we checked in around 5 pm and left 5 am , so less then a day. left once to go get dinner and we had to pay a total of $29 in parking which is ridiculous giving how much your already paying for everything else.

Ok place to stay if you are visiting Savannah.

Ok place to stay if you are visiting Savannah.
The front desk is very nice and friendly. They assist you with your check-in and travels in Savannah.
The hotel is chill with some amenities.
The pool is relaxing and gets empty at the end of the day.
The room is where I had my issues. They did a horrible job cleaning it from the previous people. There was still stuff in the mini fridge and the drawers. In the bathroom there were hairs on the bath tub. The carpet was dirty.
At times the valet was understaffed and it took a while for them to get my car.
They have a ferry to town, which is nice, but if you want to drive it's a bit away.
Next time in Savannah I will not be staying here.

I was charged mistakenly for a meal I did not eat. The Westin acknowledged their mistake but refuse to reimburse me in a timely manner. It will take up to 15 days for them to reimburse and provide an accurate receipt which is ridiculous considering they had no trouble charging my card.

Great hotel across the river from downtown Savannah. Free ferry to cross over river and walk around downtown.

The hotel restaurant has a fantastic breakfast buffet. Fresh fruit, eggs to order, lox and cured meats, etc.

The bar has an extensive whiskey menu with detailed tasting notes. They do chocolate truffle pairings with the whiskey, try it.

Beer prepared for about a $50 charge/day for "resort fees" and parking.

The hotel was in a neat location with a great view of the city and beside the water ferry to the city, but was more outdated than I expected. Outlets, carpet and wallpaper in rooms were showing wear. The first day we did not receive any housekeeping service and had no notification that they had come by. The parking lot was pretty dirty with litter, but that could be because it is adjoined to the world trade conference center. The outdoor amenities were not what I expected in coziness from what was described on their website.

This place gets 3 stars because it gave us free rides to town and had an awesome waitress at breakfast and bartender at night. The check-in process was lengthy due to a suggestion by one lady who then left and the next had me wait 20 minutes while the online reservation appeared. The website offers a package and room type that you then find out is impossible to guarantee when you call and when you arrive find it will always be impossible. Do not hope you will get the 4pm late checkout. They can not go later than 2pm. I just don't understand why they even suggest a possibility that is impossible and then look at you like you are crazy for suggesting it. I guess they don't know what is offered online? But, being rude via phone and in person isn't the way to go.

The place is decent, no late night snacks to be found and pool is shallow, which is great for kids. Nice splash pad and Jacuzzi.

WOW! Everything was cleaned spotless (I checked). Upon arrival, the bellhop offered to take our bags up to our room for us. Parking was abundant and free. The Resort staff were the nicest people we met, but somehow still kept their unique personalities. Everybody made you feel like you belonged there, and more importantly, deserved to be there.

The food was INCREDIBLY delicious. They also had two Dasani water bottles waiting for us in our room, which was pleasantly received! The resort is basically on its own island, so there was absolutely no fear of vagrants. We felt SAFE in Savannah. They had a complimentary ferry service that drops you off (and picks you up) right at the busy River St.

We got massages at the Spa, and the shuttle driver was an amazing dude -- polite, willing, and efficient. He was already at the Spa after our massages waiting to take us back. The massage therapist was genuine, professional, and her technique was precise.

Everything -- EVERYTHING -- about our stay here was perfect. We even brought our small dog, and they truly are a dog-friendly establishment, with a potty park just outside one of the exterior doors, and a complimentary doggie bone cookie (from the local Wolf Gang Bakery in downtown Savannah) waiting for us when we checked in.

We were blown away. This place is worth it!

The ladies at the front desk today were AMAZING!! I'm here for a week long conference. I'm from Mississippi and have been in the process of adopting my daughter. I was contacted by my adoption lawyer that I was missing one piece of paper in the packet that I mailed before leaving home and that she needed this paper to finalize the adoption today. She emailed me the paper I needed to sign but it also had to be notarized and emailed back to her. These ladies helped me print the paper, notarized it for me and scanned and emailed it to my lawyer for me. I can't say thank you enough for their help!! Wonderful experience!

The staff was very unfriendly. This establishment needs to work on their hospitality skills. Please do not discriminate against race, age, or gender. I hope the management talks to all staff members on being curtious and informative to ALL customers regardless of their race, age, or gender.

We are sooo appreciative to the wonderful staff at this Westin resort. Jessica Sharpe helped to make our grandson's birthday and stay at the hotel truly special. The wonderful memories my family have of this vacation will last a lifetime. The staff at this location played a major role in creating those lasting memories

I went back and forth about where to stay on our v...

I went back and forth about where to stay on our visit to Savannah. I wanted to stay close to Tybee Island, historic downtown, SCAD, and the Forts. I wasn't sure if staying across the river from downtown riverfront Savannah was the best choice; however, once we got to the Westin and found out there was a free water ferry that ran from 7am to midnight taking you across the river to downtown, I knew we made the right decision. Even Tybee Island was within a 30 minute drive.

The hotel not being in downtown Savannah was a positive for us. After spending a day walking the streets of downtown Savannah and SCAD, it was nice coming back to a quiet hotel.

The swimming pool was big, there was a BIG screened in room by the pool that had a ping pong and foosball table and lots of tables and chairs and two big TVs. There were also lots of Adirondack chairs under trees by the pool where you could sit in the shade and relax.

As to the hotel rooms. They had all the amenities you come to expect. My only negative was the beds. I did not read carefully enough to see that they were double beds not queen beds. With two teenagers having to share a bed and then two adults used to sleeping in a king sized bed, it was a bit cozy.

The hotel was beautiful but wasn't exactly what I expected. Considering we waited to the last minute to book the hotel, we paid an expedia price that was reasonable; however, I would not have paid full price for a room after staying there. Also, be sure to look for potential parking or resort fees to be added when booking.

The location was wonderful and the room was great. The only downside to the room was that there were several mystery hairs in the bathroom and dinner in the lounge was underwhelming. The staff, however, was very friendly and helpful and our view was amazing.

My husband and I booked a room from Sept 20 thru 23rd. The room was beautiful but when we arrived the first day after checking in I went to put drinks in fridge there were two large food containers in there with nasty leftovers. The cleaning staff had just cleaned our room and fridge should have been cleaned and emptied. Saturday morning we left for touring and put do not disturb sign on door. On Sunday we removed do not disturb sign when we left at 9a and returned after 3p, our room wasn't cleaned at all. Then we found a black sock on the floor by the bed. The beds have a very tall wood frame behind the headboard and the dust was ridiculous. We were under the impression we had free parking but was charged parking fees among other charges we were not aware of. Said free Wi-Fi and charged for that too. Will not recommend.

A beautiful hotel set across the river from downtown. They have a wonderful pool with hot tub and plenty of room to relax in the sun. There is a free ferry from the island over to the city where you can check out the shops, eat and drink. Westin's Heavenly Beds are the best!
