We spend such a good time in the lobby bar! Such a good service, all the tables are manage by one lady, pretty hard worker!! She even know mixology!! Amazing!!
The services were awesome!! The hotel is kind of old by they manage to have it working properly!!
This is by far the worst hotel experience I had in San Diego. This hotel is nothing close to a four star hotel. There is no general parking. They have limited valet for $50 a night and for general they ask you to use a building next door for $25 a night with no in and out privilege. Great, so once you park your car you cannot use it anymore.
The hotel inside looks like an old building with not much maintenance going on.
The room I got had no shower gel or soap and there was an A/C filter lying around.
And on top of all this they charge you $25 resort fee.
Please stay away from this hotel.
Clean, Cool and Comfortable. Beds were like clouds. Service was great. Be nice and you get treated nice I'm return. We asked for a room with a view and offered no problem because of the low attendance I'm sure. It is centrally located to many restaurants within walking distance. We walked to Little Italy no problem. We will return.
This hotel is way overpriced on charges for food and beverages! I arrived at 10 PM and ordered a beer from the menu at the desk. I was brought the beer and then was charged $18.50 for one single 12 ounce beer!
What a ridiculous price to pay- outrageous!
Very nice hotel that is centrally located in San Diego. The staff is very polite and courteous. The rooms are very clean and spacious. My only complaint is the cost of services.
For a $230 hotel a NIGHT, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Rude customer service. Rooms were nice but other that, we will never come here again. Parking is another disaster. Save your money & go somewhere better.
Loved the pool, the view, and for the most part the room, there were a few minor details like our bathroom door not shutting properly, the vent in the bathroom not working, the fridge not being cold and the pullout couch that none of our rooms had. Would ve given it 5 stars but for such a prestige hotel these things are given. Just a heads up make sure to bring shampoo, conditioner and body wash because those 1oz containers will work for one person. Lastly they don t have any parking and also don t do valet so you will have to park across the street, which is $25 per night unless you want to enter and exit. The hotel does provide a ticket for you to be able to enter and exit one time, for $35.
I was trying to book in a completely different location at another hotel through priceline and got this instead. So far I've read that the prices for parking are ridiculous and the staff is rude. I haven't even stayed here yet. It's also been a week since I've made the mistake of making this reservation and I can't get one person at this hotel to answer the phone. Fantastic.
This hotel is a bit outdated. Who has sliding doors for the restroom. The bed sheets had strains on them. There was also a small blood spot on a sheet but couldn't be certain it wasn't from one of us. A popped pimple maybe? The pool is "rooftop" but is really on the 3rd floor. It's way to small and their jacuzzi is not available. No hotel parking for guest baffles me. Im already paying for the stay, now I need to pay for parking as well? Pretty sure I won't be back.
We had an amazing time here.. the staff was great considering the Covid-19 situation. Our rooms were clean and tidy and everytime we needed fresh towels or washcloths or hand towels all we had to do was ask and 5 mins later a knock on the door and we had them. They also provided a self inflating mattress for my grandma who wanted her own space. They. Furnished pillows and blankets and sheets for her without question. They staff was AMAZING.. plenty of Hot water and hand soaps and shampoos and conditioners when we needed them. The first floor bar was terrific and the drinks were delicious the food was wonderful. From pizza to a hamburger to the Caesar salads
Even breakfast was delicious from the Oatmeal to the egg sausage breakfast muffin .. The chocolate milk was off the hook.. asked for extra whipped cream and we GOT IT.. The white Russians were delicious and amazing and our Martinis were awesome as well.
We had a wonderful week at the Westin San Diego. Our 20th floor View was spectacular .. we could see the entire bay all the way to Coronado. The pool on the 3rd floor was nice along with the weight room. The public 3rd floor restrooms were clean and nice. You need a room card to get in which makes it nice to know that not just anyone can walk off the street on use them. They had the place spic and span and clean. Hand sanitizers everywhere you would need or want them. They even provide upon request packets with fragrances to help you sleep in tranquility for the night. Simply amazing.. we couldn't have picked out a nicer place to stay at. Plenty of eateries and stores and banks around us if we needed them. A CVS a few blocks away.. The entire week and experience will definitely have us coming back. The parking can be expensive BUT the Hotel offers you buying options for paid parking for multiple days for 35 bucks which saved us tons of money. It makes a 75 dollar parking bill disappear once you put in your ticket voucher I highly recommend you get these from the Hotel .. 5 stars all the way for my families experience
We stayed here for a quick getaway and the room was nice and bed very comfy! We liked the Westin ever since we stayed at the one in Maui! We will be back again!
