Not the friendliest check-in desk I have seen in general in US. Room was OK, location is convenient.

Nice lobby, friendly staff, dated rooms, with poor noise insulation for an airport hotel and if you are a transiting passenger horrible shuttle service from airport to hotel. More than 45 min wait on two different occasions.
When we arrived at the hotel we were given a non smoking room but when we got to our floor the the floor reeked heavily of marijuana. When we got to our room the smell was in our room as well. We called the front desk they said they would send security up. An hour later the smell was so strong my daughter with asthma couldn't walk down the hall and it was getting worse in our room. My husband called back down to the desk and he said well we will just move you at this point we were now settled with an almost asleep child.another hour went by and our a/c wouldn't work our room was super hot they sent up a fan but it was super uncomfortable all night. When we checked out the manager didn't even seem to care said she would have to talk to the night manager to find out what happened. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel it seemed more like a 2 star hotel.Staff was very rude.
The Westin Los Angeles Airport has served its purpose: just stay overnight after a long flight.
When I walked into my room, I was in awe. The beds were very neat and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. I remember walking into the bathroom impressed by the folding of the towels and how gorgeous the shower was. The shower nobs were very simple to use, giving it a homey feel. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I would highly recommend going.
Fairly old hotel. Staff members are fine, but the room had a broken fridge.
Used to be reasonable price. Now expensive and only cosmetic improvements. The coffee machine has not worked in the room the last 3 times I've stayed.
New renovated rooms are superb! This hotel has really stepped up their game! Kudos
Good hotel at the airport with free airport shuttle.
Nice view to watch planes take off and land.
Food is quite expensive, but good here.
For a stopover to recommend.
It's beautiful very expensive quite great staff clean rooms.
Its a good proximity to the airport and nice lobby. The rooms are a bit old. I didn't like the faucets. Old and the water pressure is weak. The service is nice and clean
Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff. 24/7 shuttle to the airport and no appointments needed. Good gym though some equipment are squeaky. Easy Uber to Manhattan Beach. $40/night for parking and $15 to connect to WiFi.
Amazing hotel! So classy and so beautiful! Great stuff too!
Can rent a car from here shuttle down the road from the airport
This review is unfortunately not based on other Westin experieces but plenty of traveling and hotel/customer service experiences. This hotel is amazing especially if you have a pet! They allow pups up to 40lbs and only charge for damage, no deposit! Also no deposit for the stay either which is nice and different compared to many hotels in the LA area. They bring a bed/dog bowls/ treats for our pup. They have a pool(outdoor). No free breakfast but has a restaurant and gift shop. The beds are so comfy! Romm came with super nice smelling(white tea) toiletries. Great starbucks coffee and a robe to wear. Great showers with hose attachment. Amazingly fast free wifi! Great room service! Fast check-in(refreshments(flavored water) available while waiting). Only place to walk pups though is in the front terrace(decent patch of grass). Rooms are comfy and fairly solid for sound; there is carpet which makes a good sound barrier while other hotels have laminate or wood flooring that makes the rooms hollow and noisy.all in all, great room! Super satisfied for being right by the airport! You can find cheaper rates online too!
Was there for a jewelry show so not sure about rooms..nut I can say that it's still a beautiful hotel for its age and the staff I interacted with were very courteous. I have stayed in a few Westins and they are are my hotel of choice when I have no budgetary concerns. Always clean and has professional staff.
The lines were not as long as usual, and we boarded our plane without hassle, everything was ok time and things went smoothly. Great experience!
Okay stay; clean rooms, and friendly staff. But, Jet noise is nonstop due to busy airport almost adjacent to hotel parking. Parking for guests at this hotel is $46.00 a night, no exception. Our next visit to L.A., we will look for a hotel with free parking or at least discount parking for the guests. This added to the cost of our trip, keep in mind when you booking your room and considering the room costs per night.
I attended a professional event here at the Westin. All staff were courteous and professional. Not a speck of dirt in sight throughout. Only off thing was that the restroom sinks seemed bery fidgity, choosing when and when not to work. Overall, extremely positive experience.
Terrible. Quick list:
1. Kennel directly outside window to enjoy non-stop barking of a thousand dogs? Check.
2. Outrageous parking fees for "guest" and visitors alike? Check.
3. 2 settings on shower, off or scalding hot? Check.
Add to that things like the $15 deodorant I bought at the gift shop... do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.
On 6/25/14 Someone got shot right outside the hotel. Staff acted like this was not a problem. Crazy.
Well, parking lots very expensive, it is better to park in some other nearby
Hotel was clean and friendly but I had a couple packages shipped there and it was a issue finding them after showing delivered
Kinda hectic to figure out where to go. But overall staff was nice!
If you are thinking of parking your here, DONT. Do yourself a favor and go to the parking spot. We arrived at the airport at 6, waited for an hour to get picked up from terminal 2! I called three times and I was told it s every 20-25 minutes. That s BS because I waited for a whole hour.
The shuttle driver arrived and he refused to let us use the ramp because it was not working really Westin!? So inclusive and considerate. we had to picked my son up the stairs with the help of another passagers because it was raining badly.
Save your valuable time! Go somewhere else.
Don't waste your money, get a better expensive hotel where you don't have to pay for wifi and parking ($40 a night). The room was okayish, like I said not worth the money we paid. I would give this zero, but i can not.
Dated bathroom, needs remodel. Airport shuttle inconvenient and not reliable.
Service is great, wish I didn't have to pay for Internet and parking though.
Horrible parking, no change available...15mins to get my car, even though I VALET....
I'm currently lying in bed in my hotel room writing this review. There's no other way to put it: this place sucks. I expected way more from a Westin, to be honest. I am from San Diego and have stayed at the Westin in the Gaslamp a few times and each time has been a fantastic experience. The Westin LA Airport, however, does not live up to the standard the Westin is supposed to carry. I'm not a hotel snob by any means, but when you pay $250 for a room you expect certain standards that fit that criterion. The room looked old and had super poor lighting. I felt as if I were walking into some dirty old motel. The furniture and faux-wood headboards had fingerprints all over them. No sugar or creamer for coffee. If you park in the structure it is $35 for overnight. That is insane. Lastly, the walls are paper-thin and you hear every door slam, conversations, footsteps above you, etc. Overall not a great experience. I'd advise you not to book this location solely for the purpose of not getting what you pay for.
The hotel is nice, but, I feel it is very dated and does not "live up" to the Westin name/standard.
Comfortable rooms nice location for car rental and shopping but receptionist was rude and in a big rush .
Standard big name hotel. Rooms were clean bit not many frills. Very close to the airport with free shuttle service so that was nice. No complaints!
bad customer service , I want to change my reservation, they just asked me call back an hour later. After an hour, another operator said she don't know,
If you travel with a pet they are extremely welcoming for your four legged family members.
Nice clean hotel, super great beds, parking $50 dlls, drinks at the bar are super, and decent price.
Standard hotel. Great customer service. Room could have been cleaner with more light, but overall good stay for a night before an early flight
Hotel is a bit older but it is still nice. Parking is a bit pricey and the food is way over priced yet still good. Beds are very comfortable.
The best hotel on the boulevard, clean and very friendly.
First time staying here as I usually stay at the LAX Marriott up the street (short notice, couldn t get a room). Definitely a good alternative. I wouldn t hesitate to stay here again if need be but the hotel is a wee bit dated and a renovation could do wonders.
Room was nice, clean, spacious and airy but the walls seem rather thin. My bathroom sink was leaking on the floor but that was taken care of quickly. The bed though.....good lord, I see why it s called the Westin Heavenly Bed. It s WONDERFUL, like a warm hug you get to sleep in. I want one for my house :-) Great customer service and the staff was very attentive as well.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast
Rooms were nice, Club breakfast was not great. No mini bar.
We liked the hotel, but they charged us 60.00 for parking above and beyond or room charge....
It's clean and spacious. The food is surprisingly good. Recommend for meetings. I did not stay at the hotel. Just came here to meet clients and have breakfast.
Stayed here on our layover to Mexico. Great location near the Airport. We were helped at check in by Yuhan, and he did a great job. He was very helpful and professional! Great customer service. Nice room with a very comfortable bed.
It is a very busy are , some good service. Very experienced personal.
We were there for a rental car and this experience was much better than last time. The staff was much more courteous and actually cared about your stuff unlike last time
As far as service and options go it was fantastic and the rooms were great as a whole. We ran into issues with our air conditioner and water pressure. While those could be issues with just the one room the fact that the air was running but not cooling the room adequately was a bit disconcerting. Again I would stay here again but would prefer it under better room conditions.
Nice hotel but is need of room facelifts. They have a lot of rooms so it might be a long walk to your room from the lobby.
Great food and had an awesome corner suite on a high floor. Will stay there again.
Beautiful hotel. Treated my dog good and although it rained I loved being in California.
It's OK... Really close to airport. Decent room B-. Super overpriced food, even more ridiculous parking. I mean, I'm staying in your hotel parking should be discounted at the very minimum. Other than that it was just ok
