My mom spent her last 8 months at the Wellington and just loved it. Great food, great activities, fantastic residents and excellent staff.

Before coming to the Wellington she was getting ripped off at another establishment that wont be named (see my other reviews to find out). The wellington took care of her, was conveniently located, and had such a loving and comfortable atmosphere.

The staff is very prompt and sweet and professional, even attending the funeral service for my mother. We visited several institutions around the valley and this one cannot be beat for price and care. Get on the wait list now because they'll be booked forever.

Rampanent covid going around the Wellington as they have no proper restrictions on people coming and going to frivolous appointments all day long.
I have found hot chicken stored in the stairwell on a cart with raw chicken above it, unrefrigerated and dripping. The food is abominable for a person used to good eating. Mom has been served rotten food with mold growing on it on her dinner plate.
Staff turnover is rampant over the past four years as the pay is very poor and so no one cares much about the residents. The bookkeeper is vicious and completely dishonest.
Virtually anything of value disappears from her room. We now have brought anything else of value home to keep it safe.
It is a nice facility, but I cannot recommend anything else about it.

My mom has lived at Wellington for a little over 2 months and our experience has been very good so far. During our initial tour of the facility the staff answered all our questions and set appropriate expectations of the service and amenities they offered. The most pleasant surprise to me is how involved the administrative staff is with the residents. On many occasions when visiting my mom, I noticed members of the management team sitting down and visiting with a single resident or a group of residents. After my mom moved in, they made an extra effort in dropping by my moms apartment to see how she was doing and making sure she was aware of the activities planned for the week. They would introduce my mom to other residents and in time my mom felt more and more comfortable participating in activities and visiting with the other residents. The residents are quite friendly. I can't count the number of times a resident came and sat with my mom and I while we were having dinner or lunch. The center encourages family and friends of the residents to visit the facility and frequently host brunch or lunch. Guests pay for their own meals but my mom loves having the family visit and join her for meals. She said it makes her feel like she did when she was home.

I have only been at the Wellington for 3 weeks. I have met many lovely people, both staff & residents. We have support from many areas & very helpful. We have so many things to do & also to be a part of, such as bingo, crafts, movies, site seeing drives & transport to the doctors, exercise of different types, types of machines to use. Transportation to & from church. It meets all my needs, & many more, depending on your needs they have it. I am very glad I was able to get an apartment here. The food is great! Many, many choices of food. The grounds are well kept. The maintenance people are very helpful. It has been a very good choice for me.

Please Do NOT apply here. Lol they tell you , you got the job, than make excuses on to why it s taking so long for you to start till you talk to a friend who works there and they tell them instead of you. They are NOT professional at all. Didn t even tell me to bring what I needed and used that as an excuse on to why I didn t get hired. I ll be reporting them.

The Wellington is one of the finest assisted living facilities I have ever seen! You can tell from the second you walk in that everyone there truly cares about the residents and takes a lot of pride in what they do. I have friends whose parents live here and they can't speak highly enough about the staff, facilities, and everything else involved. 5 stars all the way!

My mother spent two months at the Wellington. It is a beautiful and well-managed facility, with cheerful, competent, responsive employees and an eagle-eyed administration. My mother's suite was stylishly decorated. The dining room was totally delightful: Fascinating conversation with residents, a proud, professional wait staff, and very good food. The atmosphere is clean, open, sunny and warm. The exercise room is excellent.

I appreciate it even more now that my dear Mama is in a dementia ward that costs twice is much and is abysmal.

The activities director is seriously the best one I have ever seen. She genuinely loves the residents and it shows! She is constantly thinking of unique and fun activities to entertain and lift their spirits. Covid this year has especially made things challenging but Amy has risen to the occasion with creativity and optimism.

This is a comprehensive review for The Wellington....

This is a comprehensive review for The Wellington. I usually refrain from writing reviews from places where I work/have worked before, but The Wellington deserves it.

The building is always being renovated. I seldom walk by a hall that does not have some type of improvement in progress. Maintenance does an excellent job in fulfilling orders and they're able to manage multiple calls at a time. Rooms are clean and housekeeping checks the rooms regularly. I have asked for permission to take pictures of the rooms to give you a better idea. All pictures taken were from model units. They decorate the building for each holiday, which is a nice touch.

The DON (Josh) and the ADON (Gabby) work with you to figure out a good schedule. I'm finishing up nursing school and my schedule was absolutely bananas. Since day one they've worked with me to figure out a time that will work for me. Proper training was provided and I felt prepared to start my new job. They staff the floors properly so residents don't have to wait for very long and staff aren't overworked.

Both the Med Techs and Aides help each other out. It's common to be trained on both positions so in case a fellow coworker needs assistance, someone will be able to help you. Everyone is willing to help you, all you need to do is ask.
