We visited after the gondola was closed so we didn't get the luxury of riding that which is within walking distance. The location is ideal walking distance to the Mammoth Brewery, Clocktower, Toomeys and other shopping and Hangouts. The Village Lodge was clean and inviting for that one of a kind Vacation experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful with recommendations on what sites to see. We didn't see the rooms but had a few drinks at the bar. The public transportation is free and the trolley was very cool. Overall the experience was worth the price. If you're looking for a spot in the heart of Mammoth, this is the place to go.

Do you have money lying around, cluttering up your bank account, or maybe it's just too heavy to keep hauling around? Look no further! This is the perfect money dump! They have everything from $75 hoodies to the world's most expensive BBQ, and all things in between. If a 30% markup is your thing then consider this your new playground!

This is my favorite place to stay in Mammoth; it provides every convenience one could hope for on vacation. Park your car in the heated underground parking and leave it behind for the rest of your stay. There are tons of restaurants and shops on site to keep you busy, and best of all the gondola on the property takes you right to the slopes. I'll be back many times, I'm sure.

Hotel itself was nice. They wont rent you a room in person, they make you go through websites, which is sort of weird. Be aware that their covid standards are not up to par. Remotes and phones had fingerprints as did the refrigerator. They "accidentally" left a tray of snacks and drinks in my room and asked that I return it for use for other guests. It didnt matter if anything had been touched or used.

It's nice & quiet here the last few days of October, a nice time to visit. We're disabled and don't do the mountain sports but love the mountains anyway! We attended a wonderful church called Lighthouse Church on Old Mammoth Rd, well worth it!

Great atmosphere, enjoyed the tree lighting and live band/Dj, dog friendly, service was prompt and courtious. Surrounded by restaurants and businesses that are short walking distances... only lacking a grocery store... besides that everything was great and enjoyable...

These guys went out of their way to help us on several occasions. They gave us a late check out - although it required manager's approval - even when we left super late and did not charge us the extra day. And I also left something in the room accidently and they were able to track it down and mail it back to me. It was also a great spot in the middle of the village, next to the gondola or bus stop depending what time of year you go. Thanks guys!

Honestly I couldn't be happier with the decision to stay at Village Lodge Mammoth. First of all the location is awesome for the slopes. The gondola running up to the mountain is right there, which is amazing.

That's not what made the trip for me, though. I proposed over the weekend with a huge help from all of the wonderful people at the lodge. I wrote and they had a sign printed out, surrounded in lights and they met me by the Christmas tree so I could propose. It was... just an absolutely amazing experience. I honestly couldn't have asked for more from everyone involved. To top it all off they sent some wine up to the room and left on a romantic station for us... it was just so thoughtful! Such a great experience overall. Would recommend and definitely will be back!

Thank you again everyone at the Lodge!

This place charges you after leaving the place without receiving a receipt or anything. Any try to reach out to understand why you are charged is blocked. I would absolutely not recommend to go to this place.
The supermarket at the front side is super mega expensive.
Smoking not allowed but found stub on the balcony.
