The Village Lodge Review

The village lodge is basically in the middle of Mammoth. Everything you could want is a short walk, bike, or drive away. Nearby food is great and we always enjoy our trips here.

Very nice hotel with underground parking, balconies, kitchens and laundry facilities. The village has great restaurants and looks great. Down side pricey. I would love to stay again.

Nice hotel. Really enjoyed staying there for a week.

The service @ Gomez was intermediate at best. We went at 2pm on Wed, so there were very few patrons. I had to ask for service after sitting idle for 15+ minutes. However, food was good.

Spacious rooms, full kitchen, 3 bathrooms, one elevator isn't working though

Rooms worth the price we paid. Location is excellent.

Stayed at the Village Lodge a few weeks ago.Very good nice and a full kitchen with anything you need for cooking.Only drawback no air conditioning
But did have a portable one but was noisy .We opened door to porch and things were fine.Highly recommend this place

Very nice rooms, centrally located to the gondola chair lift. Great customer service. Local to many resturants and other resort facilities.

We visit almost every year and love everything about it. I snowboard and my parents ski and we spend as much time as possible on the mountain. At night we go to Campos or the smoke yard for a few drinks and always love the food.

Great that this place has a gondola to the mtn. Saves a lot of time.

Village lodge is in The Village in Mammoth. It has underground parking to ensure convenience. The lobbies, the flooring in hallways very clean. The security is great with excess into the garage or building with your room card. The rooms are excellent. Modern, roomy, clean, great technology, excellent heating. Modern bathrooms with everything you need. Oversized king bed could sleep 3. Bathrooms white and clean waiting for you. An outstanding experience.

Very nice room with convenient amenities. No complaints so far.

The Village Lodge was wonderful. Our 1 bed condo was great. I was a little disappointed that we had to keep all shades down because there were workers working on a new building and the windows faced them. We felt we could not sit out on the balcony because of this also. Other than not being able to get some natural light everything else was great. It was clean and neat and we had everything we needed. Everyone was friendly. I would recommend the Village Lodge.

This hotel has a magical mix in the summer. We stopped there for one night before our departure to Death Valley. This charming hotel offers enormous rooms or apartments with a beautiful swimming pool and restaurants nearby.

The room was clean and very spacious. The best part was the shops and restaurants and kid friendly activities in the courtyard.

Beautiful room but couldn't use the fan without the light on. No coasters to protect the furniture

We stayed two nights for a motorcycle rally and enjoyed our stay completely. Suggest you familiarize your self with the front street with restaurants and everything you might need.

Comfortable Condo, all amenities, great location close to restaurants and shops we loved it and we will return.

Very rude staff. Our guest were stuck in Road Closure & hotel still expect the guest to reach their hotel in such road closure threatening that they cannot cancel the booking without any charges

Pros: Feels like a condo, opposed to an apartment. Village gondola super convenient.
Cons: no room service (take and bake pizza from the grocery store is the best 10 buck you can invest in, stash it in the fridge).

Great food and entertainment options. A little pricy. Great atmosphere and usually some live music during the holidays!

While the hotel itself was nice, our room was huge, we went out of season so the town was a bit dead and lacked atmosphere. Save this for peak!

Very nice hotel, very warm, whether in winter or summer.

The views are beautiful and the courtyard shopping was fun but if you value some sleep don t stay here. We were up every night until 2am having to listen to people laughing and screaming right outside our patio while they left the bars/restaurants in the courtyard. We were hoping for a quiet and relaxing get away but ended up exhausted from lack of sleep. It was like living on the 2nd floor of a frat house with nightly parties.

Beautiful, cabin like rooms with full kitchens, and great service in the heart of the village. Was here for 4 days and did not once have to get my car out. Everything is here. From the gondolas taking you Canyon Lodge, to free buses taking you to main, and a many restaurants, stores, and even a grocer within walking distance. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Beautiful place to go window shopping or actual shopping.

We were only there for the festivities, however the fireworks were amazing, and the people are very friendly
