The Varsity Hotel & Spa Review

Hotel fantastic, staff can't do enough for you. Let down slightly by food in Hotel restaurant. Average food for a great hotel. Steak house attached to hotel is much better. Spa was lovely but too busy in Covid times, when you have to keep socially distanced. Need to implement booking system to allow all guests to use.

**Reviewing the rooftop**
Long story short - AVOID.
One of the worst experiences I had. Everybody sits in the roof top, looking at each other, like asking if this is real and in fact happens.


Why did I went there and actually paid it? Because I wanted to give it a chance and to see it for myself. AVOID, don't come near this horrible place, plenty of other great places in Cambridge.

Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Great views from the room and the rooftop bar. Delicious breakfast. Good location with all major attractions within walking distance.

Amazing! Can't wait to come back again! Booked this resort for a wonderful price at . I love this resort and I'm extremely grateful I stayed at my favorite hotel for much less than what I normally pay.

Awesome place with a great view over the top of Cambridge. This roof-bar has nice and comfortable places to take seat for a while. Temperature could be less in the evening, an additional jacket could be the right choice. The prices are too high, also for a bar in this location. Approx 8 pound for a beer is not adequate = 2 stars less in rating.

I had a very nice time at the Spa, was given a gift voucher and added another treatment as well, the products were lovely, the staff all very nice, friendly and attentive. Pity the steam room wasn't open (due to Covid) but that didn't take anything away from the experience. Had lunch at the Varsity restaurant, food came super fast, was delicious, had the vegan pizza, could not finish it! Staff were also very attentive. I will go back.
