Tried the ginger brew, was delicious and definitely a nice strong ginger taste, nothing mellow about it. Cool atmosphere, very modern looking. I definitely will be returning here!

In town for the Liverpool - Dortmund game, great venue with some great spaces. Loved the roof top bar & good selection of beers!!

Very loud, ran out of half the beers. Have to wait outside in the cold to get a ticket for a beer. Good spot if quieter, avoid on weekends

Came here when it wasn t too busy. The view from the roof is beautiful. The Thai pizza was really good too.

Their huge industrial layout makes for a great event space; couple that with good beer at a reasonable price and you have the makings of a good night.

I loved the location, and like how you can look into the brewery too. Cool art collections too.

Great beers. Sort of crowded, but everyone is nice to make room. Pizzas were tasty. Especially the Mexican variant.

I live in sc and had a beer from here at a local bar. I was so excited to be at the brewery. However not a single bartender upstairs or down new anything about the beers, nor had they tried them... kind of odd. Overall the atmosphere was good and the event we happened upon was super fun. I would give this another try probably but I just look form a more knowledgeable experience.

Absolutely love this brewery. Found it about 1 1/2 years ago and go here weekly. They host great events and have amazing beer releases on a continual basis. My boyfriend and I enjoy going there to play ping pong or just relax on the patio and listen to music.

Came here Super Bowl Sunday and they had a lame ass cyclo cross event on the big screen? Seriously? Coming from the mecca of of the bike world I get it, but on SBS I Don't. The beer was mediocre at best to top it off.

Solid indoor area for games when the summer gets hot.

Every time I have been there I have had a good time and the beer is always good.

Dog friendly and I can usually find a place to sit. The beers are very good and they usually have some great seasonal or experimental beers.

I really like their beer selection and offerings and they make what they have on draught pretty close to the the classic stlyes. My standout favs were their Quad and Ginger Wheat.

I give total kudos to their staff for making an awkward experience into a stellar one. I tried to redeem my PintPass dollars and they were declined. After a quick call to the mgr, everything was sorted and I walked away w/some awesome stickers and a smile! The staff are so nice, engaging, and I cannot wait to return!

Asked employees to locate driver Parked in handicap spot with no placard and they said they didn't want to offend anyone by asking them to move. Really?

I love the location (they're renovating right now) and the beers are pretty good. Nothing stands out per se, but that's because I have some specific tastes for porters and stouts. That said, when they do brew darker beers like that, they've been pretty good.

Great group of owners! Great neighbors and always a fun atmosphere when ever I have the chance to go there.

With the competition being so stiff, I'd expect this place to raise its standards. Spend your money elsewhere.

A very large taproom, old arcade games, and board games. We enjoyed two flights - the standard and the anniversary flights, both of which had a nice selection, but were light on variety.

What's not to love about The Unknown? The owner is one of the most interesting guys you will ever meet, the beer ranges from approachable to adventurous (so there is something for everyone) and they even have a microdistillery on site! Great to have so close to Uptown charlotte and Bank of America Stadium!

The new rooftop patio is very nice and I like the new bar area downstairs.

Decent beer. Subpar service unless you look like a frat boy/sorority girl. No crushed red pepper for the pizza.

Really good beer and like the proximity to uptown. Would absolutely recommend to include in a brewery crawl. Only knock is the layout of the taproom, but I think they are redoing it

Great experience! We came for Music Bingo, it was super fun. Bar tenders are super down to earth. We had the opportunity to talk to the Manger Ryan also, he was a delight as well! The brewery was nice and clean, bathrooms where clean also. Recommend the Scratch N Sniff or Giggles.

It's hot and humid. Only went once. They had the garage doors open, but there was no air on. Couldn't enjoy the experience

It's good that in the last two years they started to brew good beer, way better than their beer of years back.

Such a great hangout spot after work. Great outdoor areas to people watch and the beer selection is excellent. Many different styles and even some killer homemade non-alcoholic ginger ale. The bartenders are super nice and helpful. Food truck seems to be a permanent fixture. A well done establishment.

March 26, 2016 my son was married at the Unknown Brewing Company! The Brewery was fantastic to work with and the beer delicious. I would recommend this venue for any upcoming event!

Crab Fest turned out to be a cluster. Too many people, not enough small undercooked crabs with no meat on them. Sat at table for 30 minutes-got 5 little crabs for 6 people - not one potato or ear of corn. Lot of people getting their money back. Beer was good though. I won't judge the place on this event, though. I will go back at a normal time and try it out. I did like the Beer.
