Great place, kind people, many fun stuff to do around

Beautiful family-oriented northern Catskill resort. Room was large, had balcony, tv and fridge. Very clean, good linens, bed was firm. Morning Coffee was available at front desk.

The Thompson House is awesome! We love it here, come back year after year. it truly is "the resort with the personal touch". Nothing negative.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. There is so much to do at The Thompson House itself. Plus there are many hiking trails to explore. The Thompson Family are wonderful people who made our stay perfect.

A lovely family mountain resort. During the summer, they offer great meal plan (breakfast / dinner), which is consistently excellent. Menu varies every day, but it is always abundant and delicious.

Most importantly, it is family-owned, and the the family is caring, attentive, friendly and efficient. There are plenty of outdoor activities available (heated swimming pool, tennis courts, badminton, bocce, shuffleboard, hiking), as well as evening entertainment (movie nights, trivia games, bingo nights, comedians, etc).

Strongly recommended!

What an awesome place!!! We have a toddler, and two young kids. There was Something for everyone!! We all thoroughly enjoyed being at the hotel and participating in activities on the grounds. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly and accommodating and the rooms were really clean, spacious and comfortable. Also fun activities in the town of Windham. We will be back for sure!! Thank you for a great stay and fun memories!!
