The gem of Saratoga. This contemporary Art museum offers an array of Art styles. I especially like the elevator exhibits and the architecture of museum. I highly recommend a trip to this museum.

I love the Tang.

I love the Tang.
It is bite-size, meaning I can walk through and look at all the art within an hour.
It is edgy, meaning they exhibit artwork that may be controversial for one reason or another.
It is connected to Skidmore, meaning it's infused with the new "blood," energy, ideas, and responses of students which makes it much a more alive, dynamic place.
There's a fun shop filled with clever toys, gadgets, pens, books, mugs, stationery, and suchlike.

Exhibitions here often have a number of good artworks but otherwise are consistently unmemorable. Wish they showed more of their permanent collection. Highlights here is the unusual architecture and Sol Lewitt sculptures/wall drawings

The winter collection was completely boring. I would never return. My family and I were being closely-watched like we were gonna steal something, it was very uncomfortable. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Always a great visit with a variety of art to see. Something here will catch your eye even if you are not an art person whether it be a concert on the roof or the giant elevator that doubles as an art piece

Arrived to find the main exhibits were closed; only 2 minor exhibits were open. Walked up the stairs to see one...all we saw were construction materials, no exhibit. Asked the two people at the reception desk why there was no indication on the website of the main exhibits being closed. To add insult to injury, one stated by virtue of the two minor exhibits being the only ones mentioned on the website we were to infer the rest was closed. What?? Is this how you treat your prospective patrons? We drove 40 minutes each way to a museum that should have been closed with appropriate information posted on its website.

FLEX just opened at the Tang. It's provocative - how do we define strength? What is beauty? What is the connection between the body and art? Definitely worth at least one long visit and much reflection.

I like exhibition connects art to ourselves in different culture. An interesting exhibition about Muslim culture by partly Empowering people how to photograph and let them shot their daily life.

For the modern art lovers ... small free museum on Skidmore college campus. Beautiful building with tons of wasted space. Occasionally they have free special events in the evening. We attended one recently that featured music & poetry. The exhibitions are always stretch the limits of modern art.

Went in to enjoy the exhibits and do some research on a project. I enjoyed the curation of the exhibits and the art. My issue lies with being constantly followed like I was going to steal or break something. I was never closer than 2-3 ft from anything. Just close enough to read the information plaques. I have never felt so unwelcome and invaded in a museum. I understand the work needs to be protected but you can not have people following a patrons every single move. I wanted to stay longer but I felt so uncomfortable I took some notes and left.
