I took my wife and in-laws that were in town to dinner. This was our first time to The Table. We all had a wonderful dinner. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant. The food was very, very good. Atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back.

WOW! I have dined at fine dining restaurants throughout the country and outside the country. My standard for the best available dinner in the country has always been Commander s Palace in New Orleans. Who knew that I could match that dining experience in Sarasota. Yes, it can be expensive. No, it is not overpriced. I cannot wait to return.
Stopped in for happy hour. Decor let to a great atmosphere. Happy hour options are plentiful and one of a kind. Excellent chef. Bartender was educated on the preparation of the food and made fabulous cocktails. Would highly recommend.
Food was excellent!! Chef...top notch. Indoor seating lacked ambience and had a slight smell of urine...sorry. Service was second to none. Could be an SRQ hot spot with a small investment in decor and a weekend of deep cleaning. They are so close to a five star rating. I have faith.
I'm truly impressed and cannot wait to visit again. Firstly, it's stunning. Bright, clean decor, lots of natural sunlight, and it's right on Phillippi Creek, too. Gorgeous view, and I wouldn't have guessed with it being so close to Tamiami Road. The food was delicious. I went during happy hour. The $5 mojitos are made well. They don't skimp out on the fresh mint and lime, so it balances the rum perfectly. The presentation of both the drinks and food is superb. Our $5 appetizers were beef sliders, spring rolls, and quesadillas. The spring rolls were a bit difficult to eat because they stand upright, but my god did they taste good. Everything tastes freshly made. I'm so glad to have found this place!
I really wouldn't even give it one star but I had to check one in order to put this post on we had great salads really good cocktails but the food was not good at all it seem like it was preprepared had strange sauces on it my fish was dry and did not taste like snapper they took it back & I ordered a veal chop which came within six minutes and I couldn't even cut it and I ordered it medium. See asparagus was huge and hard as a rock they had some kind of gnocchi that tasted like in a canned tomato soup sauce. Filipi Creek restaurant has much better food we dined there often he wanted to go here for fine dining which it's not. It all started when he pulled up for valet parking and the man stood at my door and stared at me I was driving and he did not proceed to open the door until my husband came around and told him to please open my wife's door. They seated us at a table it was a gentleman and he did not pull my chair out for me to sit and this is supposed to be fine dining. We wouldn't really recommend it.
The food at The Table is excellent, and the service was fine. We were disappointed to see the deteriorating condition of the venue. We always sit on the deck. The deck is peeling, the paint is peeling off the building, the teak tables are in terrible condition, some of the lights were out on the string of "party" lights, and the unused space heaters were were stacked in an unorganized manner, some impairing the view. It just didn't have the special feel that it use to have! It wouldn't take much in time or money to shape this up!
Everything was delicious! We came for happy hour, tried several things and all were absolutely fantastic!! Mojitos also fabulous and the prices were absolutely unbeatable for the quality of food!
The food here is absolutely the best! Consistently good. Head and shoulders above the competition. I've worked as a fine dining waiter for many years, trust me. Shoe-maker service at times, but always a great meal.
Excellent Restaurant ! We would rate the service and food in the upscale category within a casual atmosphere with a river view with inside and outside dining. This was our first time having dinner but we will definitely be back! The service and food is excellent. The menu has a good variety that will satisfy any palate. I had the ceviche and the boulibase! Delicious! Pricey but worth every penny! Also very good cocktails!
This place rivals the best NY restaurants; the food is creative, fresh and memorable. The staff is very attentive and it runs smoothly. I have been there 5 times and it is always great.
We've been to the Table on several occasions and have had a consistently delicious meal with very good service and a terrific ambiance. Last evening was an exception. The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. It started when the hostess tried to sit us inside - not once, but twice - when we had reservations for outside seating. The waitress tried to talk someone at our table into ordering alcohol instead of a soft drink, then mixed up all the drinks and later the appetizers. I made a point of telling her I expected a little more attentiveness, then she disappeared for twenty minutes. She forgot my wine altogether, and our water glasses weren't filled until a good 30 minutes after we sat down. I was actually on my way to the bar to get something to drink when someone else finally showed up to serve us. It was well over an hour after we sat down that three out of the five of us had our meals. The other two of us had to wait another 30 minutes.
Stuff happens, even at a good restaurant. Apparently the waitress was fired halfway through the meal, and our new waiter and the manager came out to apologize, which I appreciate. However, she missed the opportunity to comp our drinks or even offer free dessert, so ultimately we walked out paying full price for a lousy experience.
The food taste as good as it looks. Wait staff is attentive. The atmosphere is excellent. Happy hour is great but the dinner menu blows it out of the water.
went for Savor Sarasota. Our first impression was not favorable. The interior is worn and dated with carpet coming up creating a trip hazard.
Once at our table our impression changed. Teresa, our waitress, is both personable and knowledgeable of the menu. The meal was outstanding. From the cocktails through desert, everything was memorable.
Look past the appearance and watch your step on the carpet. The food is worth it.
For a unique type of dining experience, you must visit The Table restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you will feel a welcoming feeling. The aroma of the delicious food being prepared in the kitchen will make your mouth water. I've always had a fantastic experience. From my cocktail drink, appetizer, entree and desserts, it's truly a great experience. The wait staff is very friendly, professional, accommodating and always prepared to give recommendations if you are undecided what you want. The paella was moist and delicious, colossal stuffed shrimps were also great and the best gazpacho I ever had, even better than in Spain where it originated. I especially enjoy watching the sunset. Truly my # 1 favorite restaurant to go when I'm in Florida for fine dining. Keep up the great work...Kudos to the Chef!
