My daughter had a surf lesson with these guys on the weekend and really loved it!
Couldn't have asked for a more knowledgable and enthusiastic instructor.
She was put in a brand new Gul wetsuit (which I now have to buy) and had a really safe little soft board.
We'll definitely book again, next time as as a whole family!
Great lesson for three complete beginners, at the end of the lesson we were all standing up. Oli gave us the skills we needed to be able to hire boards again later in the holiday and progress even further
We really enjoyed our surfing lesson with Oli. Useful safety instructions, clear steps to improve from whatever starting point you were at and lots of help if you need it. Thoroughly recommended!
I have known Olly for a long time. I hadn't realised how good a surf instructor he was until I booked a lesson for my birthday though! He really knows his stuff and has a great teaching style! A fab blend of surf knowledge, encouragement and fun made the lesson really worthwhile and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend a small group or 1-2-1 if you are just starting out or developing your skills. I will be booking another one soon. One of the best outdoor activity instructors I have been taught by.
We had an amazing time with Ol i. He taught our 6 year old son and within the lesson he was on his feet and actually surfing, something I am not sure would have happened without Oli's thoughtful and considerate tuition and he managed to keep the entire session engaging and full of fun.
The only negative was not booking in advance so we could get more sessions in before leaving.
We will definitely be booking in for next year.

Absolutely fantastic!! Oli was great with us all especially my 2 young boys. They both loved it & managed to stand on the board, first time! Although not impressed that I now have to buy them decent wetsuits & a surf board each....Santa will be busy shopping this year.

Brought my nephew for surf lessons on our holiday and decided to try it as well. Aaron was standing by the end of the first and he grew in confidence in the second lesson and by the third he was standing for several seconds easily! The beach at Newgale is a great place to have beginner lessons and Oli explains things well... I will always remember the chicken wings and riding a bike move! Two hours flys by and Aaron definitely wants more lessons! Oli knows his stuff when it comes to teaching surfing in a fun and interactive way as well as teaching us about safety first in the sea. Thank you Oli and see you again next year!! Wipeout!! Lol.

Had a great first lesson with Ollie... He had a very chilled way of explaining everything and he really helped me catching loads more waves!! Which made it loads more fun!!... It really feels like your progressing every lesson and im a lot more comfortable out there now... ride on brother ;)
We had a great family surf lesson with Oli. The lesson lasted 2.5 hours and covered beach awareness and safety, how to catch a wave and how to stand on the board. We all really enjoyed it and most of us (ok - all except me!) managed to stand on the board on more than one occasion. Thoroughly recommend this as a non-intimidating way to try surfing for the first time.
