Great cosy hotel with great customer service and rates.

Great cosy hotel with great customer service and rates.
It is fine for the price. Good breakfast downstairs.
Great hotel. Nice rooms, good service. Walking distance to Oxford Street so it makes a good base for shopping. NCP car park around the corner.
Lovely hotel, very polite staff in a great location. Very nice self service breakfast. Plenty of choice in a stylish dining room. Great value for central London. Definitely recommended.
Stay for work, nothing to say it was perfect. Hotel very well located, very decent prices for this area of London.
Recently stayed for three days at the Sumner. We found this hotel very clean, the rooms spacious, people friendly and helpful. Breakfast included with a good selection of foods, coffee and tea anytime you want it from the desk.
The location is only a few blocks from the Marble Arch and thus easy to find with great access to transportation. This is definitely a must stay hotel on our list for future visits. 5 * in our opinion.
The hotel is very clean and the team were very friendly, but the bathroom in my room was very small and very hot. The noise from the street was very overpowering but the bed was nice and comfortable. They do not offer room service which is a big downfall for me. Overall the stay was just ok compared to some other hotels in the area.
An excellent place
Quite good service
really it is a nice place to spend a short vacation in London and enjoy shopping in Oxford st
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It would be ok as a two star hotel. How they have 4 stars is beyond anyone s comprehension. Also wifi has dialup speeds for those old enough to remember. Stay elsewhere if you can.
Nice hotel. Near Hyde park. I prefer other locations in London like the Soho foe example
Warm and cozy hotel. Comfortable rooms, large beds. Great breakfast and coffee! Great central location, courteous and pleasant service. recommended
3/5 if not less. This is not 4 stars hotel but B&B on a pretty medium level. Only good option here is 5 minutes from Underground but most of London places are. My 2 nights were nearly sleepless due to noisy stairs, doors and floors, any step of neighbors is "in your room". For 120 punds You expect at least a tea facility in the room and shower which is less than 20 years old. ...
The best place to be. Location, staff and breakfast outstanding. Strongly recommend.
Very nice, welcoming and friendly hotel. Staff are very nice and helpful.
Rooms are OK. Just around the corner of Marble Arch and Oxford Street. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Well worth a visit.
Service was great and location was perfect for the price, but I paid extra for a queen size bed only to find that it was just two mattresses next to each other, which meant the middle of the bed was super uncomfy. Ridiculous that this was considered acceptable by the management.
A charming hotel with excellent service!
From the moment we arrived we were treated with a personal and charming attitude, and there is always someone at the counter who is ready to help us. The rooms are very large and spacious, and it is always warm and cozy. In addition, the rooms and bathroom are very clean and each morning the towels are changed, and the bedding is rearranged.
Every morning a friendly hostess asked us which type of bread we wanted our toast, full or white, as far as I was concerned, this upgraded the hospitality experience. The breakfast service in the modest dining room gives a pleasant feeling of a homey and pleasant hotel. The breakfast itself is excellent, with a large selection (two types of eggs, bacon, various salads and 4-5 types of cheese and more). There are 4 different types of milk substitutes and for me it was really a paradise.
So the list of advantages:
1. The location is a walking distance from the Underground Station and Hyde Park (although if you come in the winter I would not be planning to go there, really freezing).
2. Excellent breakfast
3. A very kind and generous service desk
4. Clean and spacious rooms
In conclusion, in relation to the price we received excellent value. warmly recommended!
Hope you have an enjoyable holiday.
Excellent hotel all round. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, close to a tube station.
Asked for a quiet room and got the noisy one! Check-in staff didn't know / didn't care.
Bed uncomfortable. Great if you had an argument with your partner as there seems to be a line of bricks down the middle.
Breakfast staff very friendly.
Very good location.
Excellent position lovely rooms at reasonable price
Nice hotel. Polite and helpful staff. Value for money.
Good location. The rooms are slightly older, but the beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom was small, but clean. The staff was very courteous and professional, even helped me get my luggage upstairs! The breakfast was lovely and the lady working there was very nice. I would stay here again.
Fabulous room with all the amenities needed for a comfortable nights stay. The hotel feels very homey despite being in a mid-rise building.I am very glad I found this hotel.Highly Recommended!!!
Delightful boutique hotel located in a convenient side street. Very convenient for us since we were visiting Le Gavroche on the Saturday night & the Taste Festival on Sunday. Good sized room. Very pleasant & helpful front staff. Breakfast could have been better though.
Great location and attention to detail. Sadly our room was quite cold. Also drafty as the curtains didn't close properly. We had an electric heater in the room but you can't leave that on overnight. We asked for an extra duvet and got one. The staff were very attentive.
I loved this place! It has a great location, just off Oxford street. I was very lucky to get the biggest hotel room I ever did in London, looked like a small flat, beautifully decorated, feels very British. Breakfast was exceptional for a London hotel.
Save your money. Hotel was way over priced. Wide screen TV was just a computer monitor. Bed was two twin beds put together, no snuggling. Primary side had a canyon in the inner springs.
Area was okay, and parking was a joke, watch it for the conversation zone charge.
On the positive side, included breakfast was very good and complete. Staff were very helpful and police. They were willing to give the good places to eat in the area.
The service was great, the beds were comfortable, but the highlight of my stay was the breakfast. It was wonderful!
Nice hotel. Couple of blocks from the Tube station. Two converted apartment buildings with separate elevators and a common lobby.
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Very clean, except perhaps the carpet in the room not very well aspirated. Very good breakfast, including English breakfast. Nice experience.
Management and customer service are their weakness; The front desk staff and others are fairly professional.
They swiped our credit card and charged the full amount the moment we checked in unlike any other hotel we have been. Upon a family emergency we checked out early to fly home and left management several emails/messages for a partial refund, and w/o getting even a single response. This is unprofessional at best, rude and mistreating customers.
Nice and gentle staff, very satisfying breakfast, the room was clean as it should be. Close to Marble Arch with buses in all directions and subway.
While the accommodations were adequate, the reaction and service exhibited were less than stellar. I booked a room for four nights for our daughters tripe to Europe to celebrate their graduations.
Our daughters came back to the hotel after a day of sight seeing to a room that smelled of smoke. They were told by the front desk personnel that their smoke alarm had gone off and they had to enter their room four times throughout the day to and stop the alarm from going off and open windows to disperse the smoke.
They were unable to explain where the smoke came from. The hotel was at capacity and could not move them to a new room. They were told to sleep with the window open. My daughters are pretty easy going and knew there weren t a lot of options so they asked for extra blankets (which they never received).
Upon checkout they asked for a rate reduction on the room and were told that management would need to approve it. I contacted management and after two weeks the manager decided a good gesture would be a 10% discount on another stay and a bottle of wine.
Definitely not the gesture I would expect from a hotel that holds itself out to be of a better caliber.
I would book at your own risk and hope that you don t have any issues.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, could have done with some marmalade at breakfast, room key problem solved quickly and efficiently, all round great hotel
Less than average experience. But let's see. The hotel has some Charme, staff is friendly, rooms are spacious. Location is nice around Marble Arch with loads of restaurants close by. Breakfast was actually pretty good and is included. But here we go - found a used handkerchief behind the bin and hairs in the shower. There is a humming noise coming from the AC even when switched off. It seems a mosque is close by is someone was singing at seven in the evening. Overall very noisy from upstairs, neighboring rooms and the streets. Internet very slow and filtered. It felt like being in China or north Korea.
Very nice small hotel.4 floors with 2 rooms each. Breakfast in the cellar, choice great. Service super friendly Room good, a bit less closet space. Location great with 5 minutes walk to the subway station Marble Arch.
I do not recommend frankly very small and uncomfortable .. Beautiful in its location only
Great location, staff, food, library and a comfortable bed, quiet. I'll be back.
Photos look better than the hotel; room could have been much better, service was variable some staff were amazing, others short and a bit rude. Breakfast disappointing - you are paying for the location primarily
This is a cute lil boutique Georgian Style London hotel. I had a great experience with a comfy big bed, clean bathroom and relatively quiet at night. Nice living room type setup in the lounge. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast room is clean, variety of foods cold to hot. Fresh juice would be a big plus. The elevator stops between floors so if this is a problem, call ahead to ensure they can accommodate you. Overall great location and stay.
The hotel is nice but lots of noise in the ground floor rooms
The hotel is very nice. Super yummy breakfast. But the high point of the hotel is with the staff who are super helpful. In particular, the reception official who is of Hungarian origin.
Beautiful place. Very good on price. Service was great and friendly staff happy to help. Would recommend.
This is a fantastic Boutique hotel. very clean, quaint, with excellent service and fine rooms. It has a great location near Marble Arch station and is a 5 minutes walk to the stores on Oxford, Hyde Park and dozens of pubs and restaurants. We loved the Breakfasts and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating as they suggfested restaurants and arranged taxis etc.
Rooms abit dated and worn but the other areas are very classy. Breakfast buffet is very good. Has AC and elevator.
