The Springs Resort & Spa Review

Wow! What a unique and cool experience in Pagosa! This was so fun to do with our family and the staff were out of this world kind. Why not experience the healing qualities of the geothermal springs while on your winter Spring Break! My kids has a blast, my husband and I were able to kick back, and learning about the benefits of the hot springs was fascinating!! We left relaxed, full of renewed energy, and we may have to go back before we head back home!! Huge shoutout to the manager Matt who made our experience EXTRA AWESOME.

The staff was VERY professional, courteous and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Although, we were hardly ever in it. The pools were THE BEST relaxation and Zen place I've experienced in a LONG time! And the poolside service was fantastic too. Super convenient and allowed us to stay in without having to endure the frigid and icy temps/conditions. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

The yoga and wellness instructors were fantastic! The grounds and spring soaks were beyond amazing. Besides not having our $4 Cafe credit, the noisy ceiling fan in room, and really basic room for cost they stay was great.

We had a friend get together here and it was amazing. Everyone was so friendly..staff, security, fellow springs guests. It was a great place to have a really relaxing and amazing get together.

If your looking for a place to unwind and fall off the grid , this is it! They have rooms for every budget. We stayed in the big new lodge and it was awesome for a special occasion. I will stay in the one or two story buildings next time. Guest of the hotel have 24 access to all soaking pools. They exchanged robes and towels as needed. They have 2 food choices on property but neither are dinning restaurants. Just pool snacks, burgers etc. The spa is great a little pricey but again we were there fir a special occasion. You can by day passes but you have to be out of the springs by 8. The whole place is beautiful just be prepared for the sulfur smell, it s rather strong. We were lucky enough to see it snow while we were there , it was beautiful fir sure.
Best time to soak is in the VIP area once public is gone all other pools are less crowded. We spent a lot of time at 2 fire pits on the property. Enjoy the pics and add this place to your bucket list!

Cleanest, best maintained springs we have been to. So many different choices and temperatures ranging from 90-112 (varies). Not very crowded, respectful guests we chatted with a few couples all day long. Staff is very friendly and helpful! The bartender was awesome to- a fellow Wisconsinite! Lather up on sunscreen, we sat for 6 hours and lost track of time and blistered from sunburn- if you aren t from the mountains remember you burn much faster, we always forget!

Amy, the yoga instructor was bomb! My husband had never had a yoga lesson before and she made sure he was comfortable and provided moderations when needed.

Owen, the drink waiter at the Springs. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We got a great dinner recommendation from him.

Kid probably walks 15k+ steps a shift.

Lacey, Alyssa, and Jessica made my birthday amazing! These were some amazing women that went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time. We will be back just because of them!

Resort is excellent! The pools are awesome...while social distancing isn't strictly applied, generally speaking you have the ability to break off some space for yourself.

While I didn't love the check-in and check-out times, the service at the pools was spectacular. Specifically, the server, Owen was the man. He was a critical part of making our experience fantastic!

The hotel was gorgeous and very well decorated. The room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable! The staff was amazing from the moment I called to book the room. They stayed on the phone with me and answered all my questions instead of rushing through the reservation. When checking in they gave us recommendations for food and shopping and helped accommodate us before our room was ready since we checked in early. We had a small issue with the room and the night staff Tyler did his best to help. The next morning the manager Amanda quickly worked to resolve the issue. The soaking pools were amazing and even if one was crowded there are so many that you can go to another. The scenery speaks for itself. There are restaurants within walking distance. My boyfriend proposed and the manager brought us a complimentary bottle of champagne. She was so nice and helpful and made us feel like family. We will definitely be back and maybe even make it back for anniversaries! I would highly recommend this resort and destination.
