I cannot say enough good things about this place. And my stay here hasn't even ended!

The property is amazing. My room is literally 25 feet from the ocean.The staff are absolutely incredible. They are ridiculously welcoming and accommodating. They will bend of backwards to make sure you have the best experience possible. And the on property restaurant is phenomenal. Don't miss the Jerk Chicken Alfredo or Seafood Linguine.

Finally the owners are absolutely amazing. Shane walked by and saw me sitting on my balcony with quite the sunburn. Without me asking, he had the staff bring to my room fresh cut, right out of the garden, aloe vera on ice.

And that is exactly what I've seen from eveyone on the staff - they go one step beyond, in everything they do, to ensure you have the most amazing stay in Jamaica

I Work at the Spa Retreat hotel it's Really a Nice Place to Be, it is Beautiful.

Spacious room, although oddly placed shower that could cause you to trip if you're not paying attention. It was a fantastic place to relax. It's a small place, so no fighting to get a lounge chair. And hammocks! Gorgeous sunsets, friendly people. I got to swim with the owners' dogs, Rosa and Ozzy. They were adorable! And as soon as you get in the water you see coral and all kinds of colorful fish. It's a gorgeous underwater world, just a few steps away. The whole trip was a great getaway.

Gorgeous retreat situated on the cliffs of Negril. Beautiful combination of sea and garden. Excellently maintained throughout. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. Open air spa is strategically located to lend privacy while exposing you to the sights and sound of the sea.

The view was spectacular. Premises kept well. Food was delicious and staff went above and beyond. Happy with the 3 nights stay.

The owner bought this hotel next to music venues & is now paying the police to shut down the music at 10pm! Not Jamaican friendly. If you want a true retreat, go up in the mountains for serenity.

My husband and I stayed at the Spa Retreat Boutique Hotel for our honeymoon, and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the owner himself was extremely welcoming, and the hotel's dogs were awesome to have around. In addition, the saltwater pool was beautiful and refreshing, and the facility had free snorkeling on-site. It was an excellent experience.

New boutique hotel with loving staff and high end everything. Didn't even miss the beach.

There isnt any option for the locals to do their bussiness. No music, no community.. i heard the owner of this resort (christine) is the one to blame!

Most relaxing place in negril well spent cash needs a live band even once per week that's all it needs to be a piece of paradise

Aside from the hotel being almost 2 hours from Montego Bay. (Airport), my experience was great. Pictures did not disappoint. The hotel or should i say the theme and the atmosphere was different which made the experience for my boyfriend and I more romantic and special. Pleasant staff.
My advise for anymore considering a stay is to reconfirm the amenities that are and are not included in the stay because there was some misunderstanding and no transportation to the hotel. Gladly however we called the hotel and arrangements were made.

Hotel and everything associated with it was phenomenal. Only complaint was at checkout they tried to toss a $200 private ride on our bill for a ride we never took. If I didn't take a look at the itemized list we would've had to pay this. The front desk asked if we were sure we didn't take the ride probably 3 or 4 times skeptically. They eventually let me checkout without having to pay for their mistake, which was a relief. *Review amended to 5 stars after seeing the response on new billing procedure.

We recently got married at the Spa Retreat Hotel on December 20th, 2019! The ENITRE staff was absolutely amazing!!!! Christine Cohen made our wedding day perfect! Her attention to detail is unmatched! Even with the rain we had in the afternoon, the staff moved our reception inside and then back out as soon as they could tell the rain was done for good so that we could finish off the evening outside which was our original plan. We really felt at home at the Spa Retreat and we are definitely going to go back! If you are looking to get married in Jamaica, head to Negril and make your way to the cliffs! You will not be disappointed! The ambience is incredible and the views are breathtaking!!! Thank you to Shane and Christine for opening up their home to us for our special day. We will never forget you guys. <3

This hotel is beautiful! The views, the staff, man everything was amazing! Billy was super helpful at check-in, Howie the driver was very nice and showed us a few great local spots! All three of the bartenders, I can't remember their names but they were great too. The next time I return to Jamaica I will definitely book here, my husband didn't want to leave. The massage therapist Kerri Ann and Ellie Ann I think, were just fantastic, I had been having shoulder issues before arrival and I couldn't wait to get on the table, without me even saying anything she went right to work and got all the kinks out! I loved it, I wish I could go back. I'm only giving the hotel 4 stars because the prices for the massages are different online than they are in hotel, the garden view was a little hard to enjoy because it kind of looked like overgrown bushes so we didn't use the balcony, and although the food at the restaurant is very good and the servers were super sweet, the portions are way too small we were still hungry afterward. For the price you pay for the food, they surely could do better than that.

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The room is very spacious and you I can tell that it was built with high quality materials. The staff are extremely friendly and warm. They have sand and cliffs, so you don't have to choose. The salt water pool is a great idea and very refreshing. The owners will join you at the bar for a drink which is awesome! And I can't forget my personal favorites, Ozzie and Rosa who make appearances all over the property. My wife and I have found our summer vacation destination for years to come.

Been here several times over the years. Staff are always friendly and go out of their way to accommodate any special requests. Had a private birthday dinner there that was so romantic and amazing setting.
The food is excellent - fresh and local. The drinks made with premium brands and the bar tenders were great! Highly recommend the Blue Mahoe restaurant.
The sea water pool is beautiful and nice option if the sea is a little rough.
A must visit!

This is an absolute must stay for tranquility and relaxation! The staff is great, the accommodations are top, the views are spectacular, and even as a vegan I enjoyed every specially prepared meal!

Great, intimate, authentic resort. If you re looking for privacy, tranquility, with awesome views, this is a must stay. We had a seaside cabin, and the ocean was literally in front of our front balcony.

The restaurant was terrific, always open when we needed it, and the seafood was incredible. It was our honeymoon, so we took advantage of the candle light night dinner on our first night. It s a little pricey, but it was well worth it.

Oh, and the staff were very warm, welcoming, and friendly. This is my new go to resort while in Negril.

View is lovely. Quiet private place.
Swim pool has a real ocean water pumped up in. It s on the cliff so it s a great place for snorkeling.
Food is more authentic. Good quality. Staff are very friendly.
We took all inclusive food package- that s much cheaper I think.

This spot is really a gem and a relaxing retreat. The food is amazing and service is A+. The property is gorgeous with a healing energy. Incomparable views from almost every angle of the property and most definitely from the pool and pool bar.

I now consider this my home away from home. Beautiful sky and sea with waves lapping at the cliff's edge for a soothing vacation.

A home away from home for peace and tranquility and relaxation this is what a true vacation should be so many places to chose from but what u feel as an ideal vacation matters one of the most beautiful places in negril Jamaica well worth the cost

Beautiful, serene place. The snorkeling off the property was great; you can rent complimentary snorkeling gear including life vest and flippers for 3 hours at a time. The food was decent; the view and ambience make the dining special. The bartender Ricardo was friendly and an avid singer. No on-premise gym or other facilities than outdoor spa. Overall not sure if worth the price but it is a very beautiful place and feels exclusive with only 18 bungalows.

Get out of Jamaica. You have no culture, lack authenticity, and because you can t dance due to not having rhythm you call the police on locals because they have something you will never have and that s soul! Don t support this non Jamaican establishment. The only thing you have is the root of evil.

This is a beautiful property,with the most friendly staff. This is the best property in Negril for a beautiful sunset romantic dinner.

Quite noisy. Very close to the road, near constant truck, motorbike, and beeping taxis. White noise machine provided didn't help much. Bed sagged to the middle, pillows were very lumpy (replacements were as well). Outside areas and views were beautiful but noisy (traffic). Windows with screens could not be opened as blocked by bedposts, lamps, and a TV.

The Spa Retreat is a very special place. My wife and I chose it as our honeymoon destination and we're so glad we did. Morning breakfast should be complimentary..and Spa rates should be lower so all can efford and can use that facility upto there stay..All other things r good.We r happy with Vegitarian food.

Excellent facility, meticulously maintained grounds and every bite of food was simply divine. The staff are friendly, especially the dog Rosa! The only downside is that the resort feels isolated from everything else in Negril, there is almost nowhere else to go without paying for a taxi, and other than swimming and eating there is really nothing to do on site. The Spa is great to visit, just be sure to arrange entertainment elsewhere.

The resort is absolutely beautiful with amazing views. My husband and I stayed in a seaside cottage which is the best. It has a fantastic patio with a gorgeous view. The food and service is 5 star quality. The staff treats you like family and goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is perfect. Staff Bobby excellent. Bar staff Ricardo and Hassan are fantastic. Restaurant staff and chef Kirk are wonderful. Food is farm to table and made to order. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. Driver staff Cliff and Audrey extremely kind, timely and courteous.

Our son & daughter in law surprised us for our 50th Anniversary with a weekend. The hospitality was awesome! Everyone would great us by name. The food was some of the best we have eaten in Jamaica.

My husband and I stayed at the resort this thanksgiving for 8 days. Every room is a minute walk to the ocean front bar with sunset views. Easy access to the ocean, great snorkeling, saltwater pools, delicious food and drink. Loved swimming with Ozzy and Rosa!

Location was nice but all the bars and restaurants on that strip seemed really dead. I needed something to do ended up being kind of a boring trip

I have stayed here multiple times, but will no longer be using their services as when I was talking to the locals, the owner (a Canadian woman) is now paying the police to shut down all the local businesses/music around them... I am from Canada myself, and that is just sad. S H A M E O N Y O U!
