Fantastic! From the simplicity of the booking system with Covid to the service from the wonderfully attentive staff and the best part of it all was the food. Delicious meals served nice and hot, the best meal we have had in years. Top class food and service. Can't wait for our next visit, hopefully next week!
Lovely spot right in the heart of the town with plenty of seating, comfortable furnishings and a homely atmosphere, loved to see the open fire!
Great food and obviously a popular spot with locals and visitors alike, always a good sign. Plenty of staff too so we were never left waiting long and the place was kept clean and tidy.
What's not to love about here. Always a great experience. We arrived early for our booking and were lucky enough that they could seat us straight away. Lots of lovely food and beverages to choose from.

Ordered for takeaway, food wasn t as good as I would of expected for the price we paid and our soft drinks were mainly ice.

Food was fab as usual.. Service second to none.. Roughly 8 mins waiting for the food to be served.. Staff were amazing.. Such a relaxed environment considering our current situation.. 2 meter distance adhered to.. Unfortunately anyone booking with more than a party of six must be seated separately (not the decision of the silken but of the government) again all rules adhered to.. Definitely worth a visit.. Booking is so easy online or give them a call they are so obliging.. Enjoy
Was impressed with the good food and service to match. Chips were much better than on my last visit, see Chapter 16. Had a slight issue with one of the meals which they gladly and quickly remedied without fuss. Staff kindly offered dessert or coffee in apology and management followed up to ensure we were happy. Cleanliness was excellent with wipe downs thorough within a minute or two of seats being vacated. RV+5
