A jewel in the heart of Dublin, situated next to St. Stephens Green, it is well worth coming into for a quiet meet up with a friend over coffee. You can sink into their glorious, luxurious couches and be tended to by superb, friendly staff. Stay as long as you like and for the price of a coffee and cake, you will feel rested and pampered. They have an impressive array of food and drink if you wish, it's more pricey than the average restaurants around the street but it's worth it ! For what you get, it's 5 star treatment and food, so go ahead, you deserve a treat!

Hotel is old world decadence but room was spacious, up to date and comfortable. Staff were lovely. We had a 3 course dinner in saddle room on one of the nights and the food and waiter were excellent. Location is spot on as well. Stayed for weekend and did some shopping near by. Covid wise is well catered for and organised.

The very finest hotel I've been to. It isn't a Hilton or large chain hotel but it has very unique character and service that set it apart from just another nice looking place. The details of decades old history gives it a warm feel. Not run down and maintained very very well. I'm going back next year.

Stayed here as a family with baby. Experience was fine, not that great as expected. It seems more of a hype than actual material. First thing was heating in the room wasn t working. More importantly staff wasn t honest ally the problem and they simply suggested a portable heater in case we feel cold. They didn t accept the problem aa they should have. Portable heater is a problem with baby in room. Also, the lobby in front of the rooms has some old smell, not sure if it s carpet or air vents.

Great service and the concierge Alan was so helpful and friendly. Rooms and hotel overall was very clean. Polite staff daily. Turndown service with chocolate, water and slippers was great, attention to detail to who in the room preferred still and sparkling. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to another! Note: Maestro cards are not accepted here at the reception. Unfortunately I was informed when I was departing.

Took a few minutes to sit and have a cuppa tea. Surprise they had oyster festival happening. So we had a pint of Guinness and half dozen oysters. Fantastic very nice service and presentation.

The Shelbourne hotel is a beautiful, elegant and higher end hotel. The staff is genuinely warm and gracious. The rooms are plush and comfortable. The location makes it ideal for most touristic endeavors. We ran into a hiccup in regards to a small malfunction with a shower component and the action from the staff was discreet, professional and impressively quick. We will absolutely return here in any future visits to Dublin! Love this hotel!

Shelbourne is Dublin's no1 hotel and that's not questionable at all. Extraordinary world-class 5* service. Luxury as it's best. Location fabolous - only The Marlin and Westburry can provide the same location wise. Bus and tram stops in front of the hotel, Grafton and Dawson street less then minute away. Hotel has one of the best terraces you'll find in the city - it's cosy, romantic and very stylish. For the best rate i recommend to book directly, for pleasant stay - as usual at any place, ask for higher floor and for room with view. Afternoon tea highly recommended. 10 out of 10.

We did not stay in the hotel, rather we visited the Lord Mayor's Room for Afternoon Tea on the occasion of our daughter's university graduation. Looked after very well and a truly exceptional experience, even in these COVID-19 times.

Great location in the heart of Dublin in a historic building. It is within walking distance of the city center and shops. The rooms can run a bit small, and the rooms have an antiquated thermostat system with four knobs to set temperature -- that doesn't appear to work.

Stayed here at the weekend - 8 of us on an Arts Weekend. It was the busiest weekend in Dublin with half marathons, swim in the Liffey, Beerfest, and the All Ireland Football Final. The Shelbourne Hotel was so fantastic - the best hotel I've been in. They go the extra mile. Thank you for making our weekend so special.

An excellent venue to host events. The service was of the highest of standards with amazing food. Staff members are always willing to help making sure that each guest receives a level of service that they can put their name to.

The hotel is elegant when you come in and the staff is friendly. But once in my assigned room it felt second class. The room was dated and next to a refurbishment construction area. The shower did not drain properly and soon I was standing in ankle deep dirty soapy water. I did not put the do not disturb sign on the door and at 2130 housekeeping came in, despite the deadbolt. It is in a convenient location.
