The Shannon Rose Restaurant Review

A+ place! Server moved us to a quiet spot when a guy at bar got loud and annoying. Server was very attentive and knew his menu. Huge portions, great taste. Will repeat!

Clifton's biggest Irish Pub...by far! The bar, in the main restaurant, wraps through all four unique, traditionally irish decorated rooms which are also appropriately lit and filled with warm wood tones. The bar in the indoor patio area is also very nicely done as a sports bar. The drinks are good and there is a wide array of beers. The food is tasty and the menu is a bit more vast than most pub fare, which is greatly welcomed. The service is fine!

Environment and decor are equally attractive. This is a good sports bar to have a variety of drafts but nothing else. The entrees are absolutely tasteless. I've eaten here at least three times but to no avail I cannot find one appetizer nor entree that satisfies at least a quarter of my palate. Unfortunately, I will never go back.

Because they offer an honest shepherd's pie, made with lamb pushes them to 5 stars. We have the Dublin Shepherds Pie and the pulled pork putine. To finish we had the Guiness oatmeal raisin cookie ice cream sandwich. The pie was a little bland - just like in Ireland. But a little seasoning with acid (steak sauce) brought it to full flavor. The atmosphere is a little dark and 10 pages of bar menu seems a bit much.

My favorite go to spot. Excellent beer and whiskey collection. The food is awesome!

This restaurant is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I I need a good supper, this place comes right away to my head. superb and all kinds of food and a large list of dishes.trained staff, and great atmosphere. Also, the pay is honest. I recommend this restaurant with pleasure.

Food is generally good. Atmosphere is nice. I like the Cobb salad, but its inconsistent depending on who is in kitchen I guess. Burgers are ok. Fish n chips are always good. Most apps are good.

The service was friendly and timely depending on the crowd demand, understandably. The food was tasty and well prepared. Typical sport bar type ambience. The parking lot was awkward to navigate because of the many other establishments in the immediate area. Other than that it's a great place to get together with some old friends and catch up.

The food was amazing specially the Bavarian Pretzel

won't let you in if you're under 21 after 10 pm even if you want to eat at a table.

Nice place to get a bite locally and we are so thankful for their vegan options. Hopefully they will keep expanding that menu. It can get a little noisy but it is a very large pub so that s to be expected. It s great for groups.

Great food and atmosphere! A bar in every room and plenty of seating for small and large groups. Huge selection of beers, spirits and cocktails and little plates for sharing. Gets crowded on the weekends.

Our favorite Friday lunch place. A great locale for some good food and beer.

I came here to celebrate a birthday with some friends and one of my guests wasn't allowed to enter even though he had a valid ID. This seemed bizarre and was incredibly unfair because all of us are 25+ which leads me to think this establishment discriminated my friend because of his appearance. I would definitely not recommend this bar if you're hoping to have a good time. The arrogance and reasoning the bouncers had was not valid.

Love the atmosphere here, very casual, excellent comfort food and drinks. Lots of Tv's to catch the games.

Terrible service. Did not want to give us more drinks. There were 3 of us and we had 2 sangria pitchers and one shot. Terrible. Then once the band started setting up they tried to rush us out. We asked to be moved but they were hesitant. Was it because we aren t white??? NOT COOL. I'd like the email address to be able to reach out.

I absolutely love this place.... Best Irish bar ever... Fantastic food really cool atmosphere ... Healthy food selections (meatless wings are so delish) Huge beer selection . Great bands and they also have a really good Happy Hour that caters to teachers which is always nice. They also have a trivia night that is fun to participate in.

It's very loud during the weekend when they play music. You can't even hear other people talk even when you're out side. However during the week they have a nice outside bar with wrought iron chairs and tables. They also have a lot of TVs with about every game that's on.

TLDR - It's a sports bar during the week and weekends it trys to be a dance club

The Shannon Rose is awesome. Great food, great atmosphere and great drinks. The place is really cool inside, very nicely decorated. I loved my chicken sandwich and my date enjoyed her fat wrap... the Shannon Rose's take on the Rutgerts Grease trucks food. so good. I love this place and, even though I am not from the area, I will definitely make my way back to the Shannon Rose again. Oh, and yes, during the day its a nice restaurant.. and at night its a place for fist pumping Guidos and Guidettes. love it!

Shannon Rose is a great place to have a couple of drinks and some food. You have to try their Shepard's Pie, it's very hearty and tasty ! Prices are the run of the mill chain restaurants, along the lines of Chili's and Houlihans.

First off this will be a weird 1 star review for most. My wife and I stopped here before a night in the city. We were seated fast, and our drink orders taken immediately. The food came fast and my wings were top notch. So right there everything was a five star review. That is until the bill came.

The issue that caused this review to drop to a 1 star is the cost of my adult beverage. I love Lagavulin 16 year old scotch whiskey. It was on the drink menu, and it made my night. Now the issue was it was $30 dollars for my glass. Which I did not find out till the bill came. The price was not on the drink menu. Now I should of asked I own up to that. What got me was I thought there was no way it could be that expensive. When I was recently in downtown Atlanta it was $22. The barrow house just on the other side of Clifton is $18 and I would expect that place to be more expensive. It s a much nicer place I would say it s higher end.

Nothing really stands out about this place to me. Food is okay, drinks and beer selection is rather standard. Just another non offensive chain "Irish" pub.

Ok everything about this place was great the band the guy at the door the young ladys at the bar but the one tall guy with the beard was not very nice and made me feel like this wasnt the place for me he didnt even come back with my change...he should do like security or clean up only if he dont like people management should speck to him i really wish my tip didnt go towards a pool for all...

The food here is always great! I did the traditional Guinness and Shepherd's Pie, mt gf had the Guinness Sliders. Excellent service (Meghan was our server) and great food are always a great combo. I love this place.

If you're looking for a drink and some apps, Shannon Rose is a great spot to hit up after seeing a movie at the AMC. But if you're in the mood for a nice dinner... it's a bit hit-or-miss. Stay with the safe options and order regular pub food, don't venture off into the wilder creations, as they mostly disappoint.

And stay away from the fish -- under-cooked is not a good look on haddock.

Nice place been here a lot and also have done the one in Ramsey a few times. A bit Pricey for average food and drinks. More like a place to meet friends, grab a table throw back a few and grab a quick bit to eat.

Great place for a good cold beer and Buffalo wings!

Fun little local chain Irish restaurant serving pretty decent fare. My wife had the beef stroganoff and I had French onion soup. We found the stroganoff to be quite tasty yet very rich and creamy. The soup was excellent and the side salad with the blue cheese vinagrette was quite good. Our server, Maya, was friendly and on point.

My wife and I love this place. The food is fantastic. The ambiance is really neat. Seriously, the food here is so much more delicious than a normal bar.

Not crazy about the busy nights like Fridays and Saturdays but if you love a crowd on those nights this is the place for it. Sometimes they have live bands so it gets hectic but the design of the bar is circular so you can get a drink at the bar throughout the restaurant

Amazing place I love everything about this restaurant...however the server JENNA is awful her service is deplorable and it took over thirty minutes for our food and over an hour for plates utensils etc.. I suggest if she's your serve ask to be seated somewhere else
