About The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division

The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division is a non-profit organization that has been serving the Central Territory of The Salvation Army in the USA for over 150 years. With a mission to meet human needs without discrimination, this organization provides various programs and services to help individuals and families in need.

One of the primary goals of The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division is to provide emergency assistance to those who are experiencing financial hardship. They offer after-school programs, summer camps, music lessons, sports teams, and other activities that promote positive youth development. These programs not only provide kids with a safe place to go after school but also help them build self-esteem, develop leadership skills, and form positive relationships with peers.

The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division also provides support for seniors through various programs such as senior centers where they can socialize with others their age while participating in activities like exercise classes or game nights. They also offer transportation services for seniors who may have difficulty getting around on their own.

In addition to these core services, The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division offers many other resources such as job training programs for adults looking for employment opportunities or addiction recovery services for those struggling with substance abuse issues.
