In it only for the money, it is ridiculous they have us wait for 45 minutes to do a class. The only way we don t wait is to sign up for another class at that time, doubling what we give every 6 weeks. In other words, 198$, just for ice skating. And the staff are rude, I remember they had a bowl of candy out for display to get one, but they watched it like a hawk, and I tried to grab one, and they wouldn t let me touch the bowl.
In conclusion, if you were to go ice skating, try to go somewhere else that s actually pleasant to be at.

I am 72 and have been a member of the Kroc Center for six years. I swim laps 3 to 4 times a week that

Not only is the staff wonderful and friendly and kind but I have met the most wonderful people who swim there on a regular basis. The facilities for the showers are wonderful I highly Recommend this facility.
The Kroc Center is not about money and if you re over 65 it is really NOT about money it s about servicing the community

Their skateboard "class" and "instructor" are inexperienced, unqualified, disappointing, ignorant. The first day the "instructor" didn't even show up for class, no call, no show. Most importantly, he did not have a plan set for the kids. My son has autism, which I wrote in his enrollment forms. Any kid, especially those on the autism spectrum, thrive on a plan and routine. The class was open play with some random teaching thrown in as the kids needed it. When I called to complain, not only did it take me 5 attempts to reach the instructor, he argued back with me, admitted he did not read the children's enrollment forms, and stated he could tell my son was special "just by looking at him". I was expecting better, since we enjoy their free family nights. VERY DISAPPOINTING. DO NOT waste your money here. Spend a little more and find a better quality class somewhere else.

I really like the KROC center. There's so much to do that it keeps my whole family occupied in most of their interests. They make a point of contributing to their community too. If there's something deficient in the neighborhood or region, they try to offer it. The only failing for us at the moment is that now two of my children have gotten into springboard diving; which is a wonderful sport and amazing to watch at the Olympics. But there isn't much opportunity to do this at the KROC so we've had to go elsewhere. I was amazed to find that there aren't any diving towers in all of San Diego county! The city's diving teams have to go to Tijuana or Mission Viejo to practice on the higher platforms needed for competition. Amazing. Except for this activity not offered the Kroc is wonderful.

I love this place! I recently got involved with the youth sports here and my daughter loves it. We pay $130 for a 2 month basketball session. The kids practice twice a week and have games every Friday. Which comes out to be around 12 face to face sessions a month at $65 a month. I really like the structure because the children are learning the fundamentals of sports and getting the experience. WE LOVE COACH RYAN FOR THE 7-8 BASKETBALL

.
whereas when I put my child in the YMCA mission valley we paid $90/month and she went every Saturday which came out to be 4 face to face sessions a month and the practice was disorganized and it structured.
