The Roots Community Church Reviews

I wish I went to this church more. I know some have told me it isn't the place to go if your kids don't like the youth group or perhaps if you don't like this, or that, but one thing that is important to me is the preaching. Pastor Russ preaches the gospel truth and I've never heard him do what I call "story time".(This is when pastors avoid the uncomfortable words in the Bible and stick to easy things to help keep butts in the seats). His preaching makes me feel conviction and I really like that. When I leave thinking "I have things I need to work on" that's a good thing. I don't ever want to leave church not even remembering what the sermon was about because I couldn't pay attention. The gospel is for everyone and this is where you'll find it.

I love attending the Roots - it's been my home for a few years now. Each week, I'm greeted by friendly faces, and feel safe dropping my toddler off in an amazing kids program with amazing teachers where she can have fun and learn about Jesus. There's always a great, Bible-based message, and fun, Jesus-centered music! The Roots is a great place to get connected to others who love Jesus and learn about His Word!

The teaching is bible based and we are learning straight out of the bible weekly. Pastor Russ is walking out God's calling on his life for sure. His ability to share the word and help bring understanding to scripture is amazing. Every week, I think...Wow, that was amazing, that was the best teaching yet. And then I come back the next week and am blown away again. I feel that I have grown so much in my understanding of the bible and what it means to walk out my life as a Christian. I love our church! It's All About Jesus

This church is fantastic. You can go in knowing nothing about God's word at all, and the pastor will just put the word of God on your mind for weeks on end with just one sermon. I'm not normally the one who enjoys church, but I love going here every time I do. It's fun, you bond with a lot of great people, and we even took a 9 month break from church, came back, and everyone still remembered us. That is what proves that you go to a great church. If you are considering going to church, come here. It's the best one you'll ever find. Plus, the messages are straight from the Bible, so none of that made up stuff that sounds biblical, but actual word of God straight from the source itself.

As a retired military officer I have attended churches all the world. Without a doubt, The Roots is most rewarding and love-filled church I have experienced. Gospel centered and family-friendly, it is a wonderful choice for a church home!!

The Roots is an amazing Church. They have biblical preaching, amazing worship, a fantastic children's ministry and so much more! Pastor Russ is always preaching from the Bible and giving great application. The people are so friendly and the relationships I have built have greatly impacted my life. The 5 years that I have been here I have grown so much in my understanding of the Bible, my walk with Christ and His people. I could go on and on, but its all so much better to experience in person! Services are at at 9am and 11am!

I love this church! The worship, kids church, fellowship, it's all amazing. I'd say that one of my favorite things about this place is that we actually go through books of the bible and thoroughly learn about the word.

From the time you walk in you feel welcomed. I went alone for the first time as I moved here across country, I love it. The worship and service is perfect all around. I'm happy to have found church family
