Good food and bar. The service has definitely improved. Every time I go back I like it more.

This place is Awesome!!! Everyone is super friendly and the place was very clean. Everything we ate was fabulous, will for sure be back again!!!

It was a biker club back in the day & it still has a sign for 'no colors' worn inside hanging near the entry. When you go in, you get the sense it still is. The pizza was ok, not great. Service was with a smile and that's the best I can say about that. Other meals where ok.

If your looking for a good night out this is the best option in the area. The staff will always keep you coming back for more. The Riv offers a great atmosphere, a spectacular beer selection, and good food at reasonable prices. Couldn't ask for more from a bar. Check it out!

Excessive wait time for order, not busy but has a slow kitchen and bartender too busy chatting with regulars to ring me up or bring out my order. If you don t mind waiting then it might be okay.

Best place for drinks, food and place to relax. Lots of fun

Not super great for younger crowd. But live music, pool tables , outdoor patio area and beer towers are great.

Home town atmoshere, good pizza, loads of beer to choose from, friendly staff, reasonable prices and plenty of parking.

Went in, sat down and waited there for 20 minutes. We were completely ignored, so we got up and took our business elsewhere. I'll never step foot in there again....no one came over to our table with menus or even acknowledged our existence....they just stood behind the bar and never bothered to move from it.

A lot of good beers on tap. Pizza is good but inconsistent. Unfortunately, it was at least a 40 minute wait to get our food.

Missing one pizza ordered. By the time missing get pizza was cooked, other pizzas were cold.

No acknowledgement what so ever! Awful service. Should be ashamed of themselves! We only stopped for a quick drink before a wedding. What a waist of time! Never again! And it stunk inside!

Crisp bar pies and a lengthy tap list that s always fresh. Solid live local music and a touch tunes for all the self titled djs.

This place has evolved over the years to my goto spot in the Beidgewater area for good food and excellent beer selection. Staff is friendly and always welcoming. I would highly recommend going to Family Fued Night on Tuesdays.

Lindsey and Gabby were top notch! The kid with earrings can make a mean pizza! Fireball shots could be in bigger glasses and def more ketchup for the onion rings!

The wings here are so delicious!!! We had the maple bacon glazed wings and they were so flavorful and cooked perfectly. They had a decent live band too. The staff was hustling around and checking on everyone and making sure we were all set. I tried the banana bread beer and I wasn't crazy about it but there were about 200 other flavors to choose from along with the basics so next time I will pick a different beer.

Majority of the food is mediocre. Quesadillas are good. Bartenders at times can chat to much with each other and seem put out with having to serve customers.

Nice beer selection. 3 5 ounce tastes for six bucks. Had wings and a fish sandwich. Both good. Nice outdoor space. Friendly service.

Horrible service. The older woman who s a bartender had the worst attitude, clearly didn t want to be there. The food and beer were good.

The bar staff are fun and friendly, the live Blues music on Saturday afternoons is amazing!

The staff here was incredibly warm and welcoming. The regulars also. Showed up with 2 small children and we were treated so well! The delicious wings and amazing beer list were just an added bonus to the superstar service.

This is a town meeting house seems like everyone knows each other but I like this place.

Absolutely terrible. The live music was awful and wouldn't stop shouting into the microphone. They had two people serving a full, busy bar. Had to wait two hours in uncomfortable seats just to get our food, which was nothing to write home about. Wouldn't go here again if it was the last restaurant in Bridgewater.

Great beer selection and food is delish. Bar is nice, tables have a fast food feel. Has live bands on Saturdays.

This is by far the best Bar in Bridgewater, best prices, best service, and a great environment, The vibes here are impeccable. The go to bar every week!!!

Pizza was dry no sauce and prices online were wrong

Over 50 beers on tap.. good all around food. Thursday night special cheese pizza and 6 jumbo wings in any sauce you want for $7... you can't beat that. Servers are always hustling. Nice thin bar style pizza - Burnt edges, perfectly cooked time after time. Clean establishment, good food, great service, lots of beverages all at affordable prices make this place a go to for us. Give it a shot.

Bud light draft beer tasted like it had some kind of cleaning fluid in it, when I said something to the bartender, she said they have been having many complaints about this beer, here's a thought for the owner, how about don't serve it until it's fixed! Done going there, good luck with the draft they will continue to serve.

Honestly the owner should be ashamed of some of the staff, Kim and Bridget are the only decent bartenders. I came in tonight with my cousin for a drink around 12 and Chrissy and Dave were complaining loudly about how many people were coming in and how late they were coming in, Chrissy then started angrily passing out everyone s tabs and alienating customers. As soon as I started to feel uncomfortable as a paying customer I counted how many other people were at the bar and there were 12! With 5-10 other people outside. I thought you guys closed at 1? If I were the owner I would want the business and I wouldn t appreciate employees alienating paying customers. If the employees don t want to work to close maybe they should work somewhere that closes earlier... I come to the riv a couple times a week after work and I always drink top shelf and spend a decent amount of money consistently, but even if I didn t I think better service would be at least customary. I d skip it every time if I were you.

Portions are large. Prices are fair. Typical pub menu. But Heather is the reason I would go back. She is a delightful server and I wish all industry staff were like her.

So, my girlfriend and I attempted to eat here after spotting it driving by. It was a Friday, late afternoon.

The inside had some light traffic at the bar, which we passed walking in. My girlfriend sat down while I used the restroom. I then joined her. There was one party in the dining area, and a decent number of people on the patio area. We chatted a bit, waiting. No one appeared.

No one had said anything to us, so I began to wonder if we came in through the exit or something - I walked out to the other side of the place to where the patio was, and saw no other entrance, so returned to our table. I mean I guess it was our table. There was no hostess, nor any sign indicating whether or not you should seat yourself, so who knows? The kid behind the bar and a waitress (one of two that appeared to be working) had seen us, but no one had come to the table or said a word - or even really acknowledged us non-verbally.

At this point, my girlfriend was browsing the menu on her phone - she'd looked it up herself, since there were none at the tables. We waited a few more minutes. When the waitresses casually strolled in, chatted briefly, and continued to ignore us, we decided to leave. Of course, no one spoke to us on the way out, either.

Just to drill this home, the place was NOT busy. This was pre-dinner rush - maybe 4:00, 4:30. This wasn't a case of a delay due to overworked staff, which happens and is understandable. The staff obviously did not care to deal with us for whatever reason, which I don't care to speculate on.

Consequently, I have no idea how the food is, but if the kitchen is a match for the rest of the staff, look out - they couldn't care less about you. I recommend going to a place where they can be bothered to interact with you.

Great food. Friendly attentive staff. Lot of great beers on tap. We bring the kids every Sunday for 1.99 cheese pizza. They love it!

I came for the Pizza and left sounding like I was raised in Boston. The staff are the real treat here.
