This is the best hotel ever, they give room service at 3am, the lobbies are decorated very fancy and the staff are more friendly than anything! If you have a lot of money and your planning to go to this hotel I would definitely tell you it's worth it.

I had to wake up at 2am for an important trip on a weeknight that the hotel decided to have extremely loud fireworks, and I really mean they were extremely loud, at 8:45 for 15 minutes. The lack of consideration not only for other hotel guests but for the residents around the hotel is incredible. I spoke with the site manager and he didn't apologize, he just said they had obtained a license from the Village of Key Biscayne to have the fireworks. Hard to believe this organization is in the "Hospitality" industry.

We love it here. They always go above and beyond, and are super accommodating. We go out of our way to say hi to some staff members because they make us feel so welcome. Only drawback is the food is overpriced for the quality.

I stayed here for 1 night and during that time I had a pair of shoes go missing from my room. I contacted front desk they were nice said they would get back to me. Nothing I then contacted Javier Martinez loss prevention supervisor. This person was very responsive for 2 days. I have contacted 4 times without a response. I will never stay at this resort again. I would give it a 0 if I could. I had to file a complaint of theft with the police department as the shoes were $800+ it's a felony and the Ritz is doing nothing to help. Absolutely disgusted with them at this point.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this excellent hotel. The staff and management was extremely kind and helpful in all aspects of our stay. The beach is beautiful and secluded. On the second day of our stay my wife got stung by a jellyfish. The beach staff immediately reacted and within maybe two minutes the hotel doctor was there to take care of it. We were happy with the response and what was even more awesome was that when we came up to our room, management left a beautiful platter of fruit and a bottle of wine with a handwritten letter to my wife apologizing for getting stung by a jellyfish. We decided that we are going to make this gorgeous hotel our yearly tradition. Can't wait to come back this summer!

Terrible stay. Was up all night because of a crying baby from across the hall. This place is so old and out dated. The fact that I can hear this baby crying very clearly is awful. I am a platinum premier elite and very surprised this is even a ritz Carlton property. I have stayed at courtyards much nicer than this. Needless to say, I will never be back. I believe ritz should sell this property as it would take a long time to renovate this place. Just an awful stay and I couldn t imagine paying $750 a night for this terrible hotel again. Changes need to be made here.

Service is great, location great, property is 4/5 stars. Its really busy a lot of the year and is showing some age. Key Biscayne is great for families but this is a mid level Ritz and the location warrants more.

I have stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne probably 8 times. I just stayed here in October 2013 This hotel has declined markedly since the last time I stayed here (earlier in 2013). The food quality has declined markedly and the service in my room was awful every day, culminating the last night when no towels were left in the room so I had to call the following morning to get some.

This was our first time staying at a Ritz Carlton,...

This was our first time staying at a Ritz Carlton, however we are no strangers to luxury hotel brands like the JW Marriott or Waldorf Astoria. Our experience far exceeded any preconceived expectations. This stay was the beginning of our vacation (7-day cruise) we had planned for a year and a half, and we hoped staying at the Ritz would start it off right; it definitely did. From the moment we arrived, the doormen and front desk representatives were excellent. We arrived early because of our flight, yet we were still offered early check-in and our Marriott Gold-Elite benefits for a room upgrade were honored. Our room was spacious, clean, and the view was phenomenal, not to mention we got placed on the same level as the lounge. Down at the pool and bar the staff was extremely friendly and polite. We had brought some drinks down from the club lounge and they were courteous enough to open them and offered us plastic cups to ensure the safety of everyone. With the staff ensuring our every need was met and the palms swaying in the breeze, we honestly felt like we were in paradise.

The part we enjoyed most about our stay was the staff and offerings in the club lounge. What made this experience enriching to us was the quality of food (the food was AMAZING!!) from the chefs who prepare each meal in the lounge and the people who work there. We would like to give a special thank you to Bella, who in such a short time made us feel like we were family and as if we had been coming to the Ritz for years. That is what made our trip there magical, the people we got to talk to and know. Bella helped make our stay not just great but outstanding. We had a laugh with her when telling her we wanted to stay a few more nights at the Ritz and just skip the cruise.

The staff did such an exceptional job at offering us a proper way to start what became an unforgettable vacation and we cannot thank them enough. We cannot wait to return, even just for a weekend getaway. We highly highly recommend this resort and The Ritz-Carlton as they far surpass any other hotel brand in customer service.

I'd like to say how amazing my stay was from the 4th of june to the 11th of june 2017.
First contact for my family and myself, Mario: the best way to feel welcome, he's the nicest man ever, makes you feel like you've been there before, a little word in french, always smiling, asking questions without being nosy.great ! He should be rewarded.
The concierge desk: high standard ! Carol, always taking care, Nice, smiling, even anticipating our wishes. John ? The best ! Everything you may ask from a concierge and even more! Congrats guys !
Final but not least, the pool. Many thanks to Mercedes and Kevin!
Nice and caring with my son, small talk when necessary, interesting, smart and professional staff, congrats.
We'll be back, already saving for next year.

Really overpriced. The value just doesn't justify the $900 per night they wanted for the holiday week. Luckily I used Marriott rewards. Sadly they don't recognize Marriotts reward status so as a Platinum member I should have got free internet but not at this hotel. We found better beaches and restaurants outside the resort.

We go every Saturday night to dance or listen live salsa...it's terrific! The service is wonderful (shout out to Salma and the Rum Bar Team), the surroundings are beautiful, the ambiance is chill and relaxing. Highly recommend!

I don t normally do negative reviews but this was horrible for New Year s eve celebration. Tacky entertainment, tacky Decour, horrible food. My wife and I couldn t even eat one plate of anything. You spend all that money on tickets and it does not even include drinks, even charged us for a bottle sparkling water. We are supposed to get a new yours eve photo the line was so long that you waste half your time standing in line for photo.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ritz-Carlton! If your looking for relaxation and rejuvenation, you have found the place. It is so scenic and the balcony in room is nice to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Be prepared to get spoiled. We walked in and everyone was so nice and accommodating. Professionalism at its finest here. Classy and beautiful building. We enjoyed the spa, oh my! Sauna, whirlpool and eucalyptus steam room. I was so calm and relaxed after being there. Sat by the water and ordered nachos/salsa and Corona Bear, real good living!!

Great location, with several pools (including one for families), a nice beach, great facilities, and most importantly, great staff who consistently catered to guests needs and were polite and helpful 100% of the time, a sign of great management and training around the brand of the hotel. The front desk staff were especially helpful and understanding, and it is one of my favorite venues to visit for conferences. Understandably the prices at the in-house dining are high given it is a luxury location (beware the Sunday brunch, which is very pricey per head), so set your expectations accordingly. The rooms are nice, comfortable, with a wide variety of standard accommodations.

My husband booked this hotel because I m pregnant ...

My husband booked this hotel because I m pregnant and we wanted a hotel that s away from the crowd. Well, despite the price this Ritz charges per night, it s by far the worst Ritz we ve stayed at, in terms of customer service.

For example:
1- LOUD NOISE at night: when we arrived yesterday, we were given a room on the 8th floor. From midnight until probably 2am, my toddler and I kept getting woken up from loud noise upstairs. It sounded like people were moving chairs back and forth nonstop.

2- UNFRIENDLY STAFF: When we complained about the noise from upstairs, the front desk lady said it was some night club above our room and agreed to switch us to a different room. Being pregnant and hungry all the time, we wanted to go eat breakfast and come back to switch rooms at around 10. The lady was very firm and told us we need to move ASAP . Maybe she s never been pregnant before and doesn t know what it feels like to be starving and deprived of sleep due to night club noise, but I simply didn t see the urgency to move rooms ASAP . The hotel was not full after all.

3- NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE: whenever I need something and dial the front desk or concierge, I can never get anyone on the phone. Normally, at $600-800/night, you would think the hotel is fully staffed. Nope, I would have to keep calling two or three times to both front desk and concierge in order to get a bed sheet brought up to my room.

We booked 5 nights and have only spent two nights so far. Definitely not impressed.

I couldn't stop smiling the whole time I was there...

I couldn't stop smiling the whole time I was there because the place is so ridiculously kiss-your-butt fancy. I never had to open a door myself to get into the place because there are two people on staff at all times whose job is to just hold the door for everyone who goes in or out. There are separate pools for the adults and children, and they turn down your room not once but twice a day. This place is the kind of fancy you see in old movies. The kind of fancy that "new luxury" tries to cheaply imitate. This is the fancy that aristocrats talk about. This is the kind of place that wives of rich barons choose to live in for months of the year because they've been all over the world and this is their favorite place to relax. This is the goddang Ritz-Carlton, the Ritz-Carlton you saw in Home Alone 2 and thought, "My God, can a place really be that rich?" Only this one's on a tropical island full of fast cars and bikini babes. If you want fancy, this is what you want.

just what you'd expect hideous pretentious ecological disaster. We're people with too much money and too much time take a beautiful ordinary Beach and turn it into Disneyland. Pay a lot hang out with a bunch of superficial people and pay way too much for a drink. Really should legislate these kind of things out of existence

This is one of my favorite hotels. It was amazing. I stayed club level and the staff was always helpful and even gave me free movie rentals because they didn't have DVDs at the front desk like some other Ritz Carltons do. I got super late check out. The beach is great and its so peaceful, quite and relaxing.

We stayed at Ritz on honeymoon in Maui in 1999. Absolutely wonderful-staff, rooms, grounds etc. We stayed at Key Biscayne for 15th anniversary/work trip-not so wonderful. Ritz refused to acknowledge Fine Hotels and Resorts benefit through AMEX platinum. Our room was not Ritz quality-mildew on ceiling, toilet that leaked water all over the floor, faucet that drips, air condition that did not work properly, bathroom door that wouldn't close and the list goes on. There are no trash cans anywhere on property unless you are near the pool or beach. You cannot get ice unless you call room service or housekeeping which or course is another way for them to earn a tip. The Spa services were nice but the doors throughout the spa looked like my kids bedroom door, full of dirty fingerprints. There is no information in the room regarding the resort amenities, map, etc. The food was pretty good but $85 for breakfast??? I am normally not so picky but when you are paying their prices, you should experience a vacation worthy of the price. Look elsewhere on the island because this is a place where money does not pay.

I quite frankly don't know where to start... I recently stayed for 8 nights. Every moment spent at the hotel was perfect. The new restaurant is beautiful. The drinks served at Dunes (By Geno - The World's best bartender) are simply the best I've ever had. The staff is incredible. From Harrison - front office Manager, to Alexa at the Rumbar, to Mohamed taking care of us at the pool, and Sandra at the Beach, and Anthony, Yeysi, Lala, Martha, *Nick*, Jose, *Rachel Pearson*, Alex, Anthony, Karen, Elidia (who cleaned our room every day so impeccably) and Oleimi. These are just a few of the people my family and I had a chance to meet during our stay. TRULY, THANK YOU all.

Can't wait to be back in 2018! :-)
