Went here on a Groupon deal, 2 pairs to skate for 15$. Their public skate hours are EXTREMELY limited as the single rink is used almost exclusively for sporting events. The ice hadn't been resurfaced in some time and so the going was rough and unpredictable with sudden changes between clean and rough patches. I used the only pair of size 14 skates that they had for rent and it was broken (blade was unaligned on the left boot, confirmed by guy behind the counter). Finally this is apparently a hot spot for local kids of highschool age and younger. I'm not against kids, but there was a lot of dangerous goofing around going on in the rink, making it hard to enjoy myself. I almost collided multiple times with kids skating opposite the flow of traffic or playing tag. I've had much better experiences elsewhere, and I don't think I'll come back.

The ice surface is average if not a bit below average but the management of the league is by far the best out of the 4 rinks I've played at.

It's a small rink. It has only 1 ice sheet. However, it's well maintained and managed. I like the fact that most staffs are female and they are very nice and don't mind helping customer. Ice cuts are always on time. Shari, the skating director is a very nice person. She did a great job scheduling classes, tests, and shows.

Often times my friends and I need a break from our usual rounds of places to hang out. The movies, the Block, or eating together can get a little tiring after a while and this is an excellent way to break up the monotony. It's casual enough for everyone to jump right in and have a great time, and usually provides a good amount of laughs when we see someone fall on their butt.

I have only ever went during the public hours and usually with a group ranging from 5-9. Luckily, their is also a snack bar and several pool tables, but those are only distractions from the main event (skating). After you're done, their is an excellent pizza place outside which is usually a good thing to do as an "after-activity".

I rated this a 4 and not a 5 for several reasons. One, I feel that the public hours could be a little bit longer. Seeing as I only go during these times, I wish the times would be a little bit longer. Secondly, the price feels a little steep. 10 dollars admission and 3 dollars for skates is probably what you will be paying for a few laps around the rink.

It's an excellent place to hang out :]

This may be the worst rink I have ever skated at. The boards lean out, they also aren't even.
You want to break stick you say? There are at least three places to do that at each door.
The ref told me that the large hole by the spectator side is worth .25 points. We were only able to lose the puck in it three times.... So we didn't even get one point from it.

To top it off, the showers are about 150ft from the locker room and with a sign on the water heater that says in need of service. Worst Tournament game ever.

Nice

I don't really know what I think about ice skating or hockey. I have participated in both here, in one capacity or another. Let's take me out of the equation, then.

The building itself is run-down. Definitely it has seen better days. The flooring, especially is shot. Tears, dents. The walls are almost as bad. The smell of B.O. and mildew floats lightly in the chilled breeze.

The customer service was naught or at the very least - uninspired. Maybe you gotta be part of this ice subculture to get good service or to appreciate the aesthetic.

It was really good a place if you want to learn ice skating they have lessons for you. If you just want to try ice skating they have time for public skating. If you are interested ice skating please go.

Poorly run. Bathrooms suck. Food is the worst. Ask for help and you get a barely helpful 16 year old if you're lucky. Ice is usually in poor shape and barriers barely standing. One of the worst rinks in so cal.

An old grocery store turned ice rink. I have played in the adult hockey leagues here for 10+ years. It's not state of the art by any stretch, the boards are crooked, the locker rooms are nasty, forget using the showers, the refs are horrendous, I could go on. With all that said, the league's administrator is a great guy, consider him a friend and probably because of that I will play here until they shut it down, my wheels fall off or, if I am not invited back.

Best place to take your kids to have fun and get lots of exercise. This was my daughter's 2nd time on the ice and she loved it. There's music, food and beverages. No alcohol! Great place for the family.
