The Ridge Hotel Lake Geneva Reviews

Well where should I start ,I will start with the entrance, as we drove in The Ridge Hotel it did not look that nice, I had looked at pictures on the web and it look decent, but ok as we walked in the lobby looked very nice very modern, it looked like it was just updated, we had to wait for the rest of our family, so we went and sat until they arrived, the chairs where very dirty they had this green chairs they where all stained they need to be replaced or washed bathrooms by the lobby where very nice, when we checked in all of the staff had masks and where very nice and helpfull, they even offer you a welcome drink , room and bathroom where nice and clean, beds and pillows comfortable, went down at night to their back patio they had live music plenty of seating with a nice fire pit, very nice and romantic. Did not make it to the restaurant it looked really nice not sure about the food, the Eucalyptus steam room was a + enjoyed it very much and last the pool what a disappointment it was so dirty , there was a greese/dirt all around the pool this could of easily come off if they had clean the pool, cause I tried with one of their towels. There was so much dirt all over. They should of have done all these cleaning especially because of Covid19.

Hot tub was out of service. Got sat at the Crafted restaurant, and after 15 minutes we left as no waitress ever came by...even after asking the hostess for one. With two hungry kids, we had to go order delivery. Room has an extremely bright green flashing light on the smoke detector, way brighter than we've seen at other hotels.. The furnace/AC unit was so loud we had to turn it off at night. Ordered breakfast sandwiches the next morning and they each had something wrong with them. Had to call twice for towels in the pool area. For a one night getaway with the kids, there was nothing impressive except for Anna at the front desk. She was very accommodating.

Dont be fooled by outward appearances! The minute you walk into the Ridge you know you're in for a treat. We had a wonderful experience from the very beginning. The man at the front desk was extremely welcoming and checked us in right away. We got a small suite and loved the character of the room, especially the wood ceilings, and the view was probably one of the best in the hotel. We were pleased to find that both bathrooms had ample towels and the beds were very comfortable. The highlight for my family was the pool. It was convenient to get to and spacious. There are beautiful windows and trees on one half that add a lot of ambiance. Checkout was an equally quick and smooth experience like the check-in. We will definitely be back and would recommend checking out this hidden gem.

My husband and I decided on Lake Geneva for our mini-moon and unfortunately were very displeased with the room conditions at a nearby resort we originally had booked.

Ready to drive back home to IL, a friend recommended The Ridge Hotel. We tiredly arrived almost 10pm at night and was greeted by a very welcoming, down to earth girl at the front desk named Jessy. She listened to our dilemma and was more than eager to accommodate us and make our trip right.

The large suite we stayed in was beautifully decorated, spacious, cleanly housekept, and fully furnished including but not limited to silverware, Keurig maker and coffee, and other small kitchen essentials.

We are more than pleased with our choice to stay with The Ridge, and Jessy s friendly disposition and willingness to help is definitely an asset to this hotel.

Such a great stay with my parents and kiddos. Utilized the pool and hot tub...not over crowded. Went to Crafted for dinner. Staff was so much fun. The neat thing is they made the experience what it was. There was also live music...the vibe was not so.ething you usually experience. So much fun.

Very professional and helpful staff! Room was immaculate. Beautiful modern interior. The eucalyptus steam room was amazing my after a long day of golf & biking couldn t believe this was was one included amenities! Crafted restaurant was a great hangout with cocktail/wine savvy servers love the live music! Will be back!

We are locals and stayed here for a one night staycation with our kids. Lobby is updated and beautiful. Resort is spacious, room was sized perfectly and comfortable, staff was very attentive and quick when we needed something. Outdoor fire pit area is beautiful. Indoor Pool area is very nice and spread out, fun little island in the pool for the kids and a large hot tub, plus nice locker room areas. Highly recommended for couples or families.

The walkin setup nice and pretty. The bean and vine cafe setup nice but the food all microwaved the honey and jelly as well as the drinks. Nice resort for a small get away I had a issues with my door key 3 different times. The front shared with me they will be upgrading the door locks. The last day I was there house keeping entered my room 3times before my check and they was 11am other then that my stay was nice...

It's a beautiful property.
We ate at Crafted. The food was ok.
But, my son found a hair in his plate and the server had the kitchen remake his food and they didn't charge us.
But, when I bit into my risotto, I was surprised to find a walnut shell (with sharp edges) in my food which I explained to my server had hurt my gums.
She didn't offer to correct THAT for me.
Somewhat disappointed.

When checking in staff had masks on and were pleasant. Room keys were ready and check-in was a breeze. The main lobby was fashionable (and had free drinks). The room smelled clean and fresh and had a nice updated bathroom with a good shower. Our room was a quiet retreat for our girls night in. In the morning, fresh coffee from the cafe and a little time in the hot tub sent us home relaxed and renewed.
