Great place. Very relaxing and great, friendly staff. Great views.
Amazing ocean views from the rooms and terrace. Nice private beach. Sumptuous Sunday brunch buffet. Decent service.
WOW! We spent 2 nights here after getting married on New Years Eve and wow! The staff were so kind and helpful, the room was perfectly clean, the views AMAZING and the food was off the charts delicious!
I am so glad we got to spend time at this quiet, clean and beautiful resort; right on the ocean! Fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing outside. Fabulous time and 10/10 would recommend!
My wife and I stayed here in May of 2019 with some good friends that raved about how great the Reefs Resort is, and they were absolutely right. The private beach on the resort is gorgeous. You can get towels and snorkel gear, kayaks etc from the stand. Want a beer, drink or any refreshment? They'll bring it to you right where you're sitting. The food is to die for, even the scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet were extraordinary. We ate at several different restaurants on the island, all delicious, but the consensus from all of us was that the food and service was always better at the Reefs. All of the employees here were warm and attentive. Our room was beautiful, and always clean. The pools and hot tubs were always inviting, the grounds were spotless. We truly look forward to going back!
The Reefs is a special, well-established location for a couple's getaway! The grounds are so lovely that it feels tucked away and remote with beautiful spots for enjoying the property. The beach and Caso's Point, in particular, are made for relaxing. Chill out on Adirondack chairs and get lost in the beauty of the ocean. The hotel's amenities include water sports (anyone for paddle boarding or kayaking?), tennis, a Jacuzzi, and an infinity pool. A balcony view might make it difficult to leave the room, but treatments at the spa and a delicious dinner at Coconuts will draw you out. The hotel is charming, and the staff are attentive and professional. Visitors to the Island would enjoy the subtle charm of The Reefs as much as locals enjoying a staycation.
If you are looking for a big resort with big pools and such, this is not the place you want to go. That being said, we really enjoyed our stay. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. The beach was great, and we made good use of the complimentary kayaks and snorkeling equipment (there are also stand up paddle boards). There are reefs just a short swim out with lots of tropical fish to see. Horseshoe Bay is within walking distance and definitely worth exploring. There is a scooter rental place just across the street. Food was good. We would come back here again.
Operation management is a joke, not enough liquor in my expensive drink, food takes a long time to come to the table. Please if your experience in unsatisfactory do not hesitate to make a complaint. Beautiful beach and after complaining they roll out the red carpet so the rating goes up 2 stars.
We stayed here for 4 nights in October 2020 and had a fantastic time. We stayed in a cliff side room which was really nice. Lovely balcony looking out to the sea. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and really helpful.
The private beach isn't the nicest beach on the island, but as you'll know once you visit Bermuda, that doesn't mean it isn't beautiful. Bermuda seems to only deal in beautiful beaches! This one is quiet, and with easy access to the bar, it makes it a great spot to relax on the island.
Stunning resort..excellent service..will be glad when covid testing stops
I booked reservations to stay at the Reefs March 8th-13th. I received an e-mail from the hotel 2/23 stating "We understand your plans have changed and you will not be staying at the Reefs. Your reservations has been canceled." I was extremely confused considering my plans HADN'T changed and I hadn't canceled my reservation. I called the Reefs who informed me that because of low occupancy, they had extended the offseason closure to past the time I had reserved a room. They said that because I had booked through a third party (Chase rewards) it wasn't their responsibility to inform me of this EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE MY EMAIL. Needless to say this is extremely unprofessional. They have a responsibility to let people know of these types of changes even if those people book through third parties. Now I'm scrambling.
