Food was cooked to order. Seasoned to perfection meaning it didn't over power the taste of a very good cut of beef. Courteous, professional staff. Great atmosphere.

Atmosphere and service was great, the mushroom soup and whipped potatoes topped with butter nut squash was amazing. The huge let down was the rib eye steak. It was full of gristle and had no marbling. I've had much better meat at Texas roadhouse.
Awesome steak and beautiful setting. We enjoyed the service.
Very upscale steakhouse at Oklahoma State University. Top notch ingredients make the difference.
Even during a pandemic, dining at the Stateroom was an amazing experience. From being greeted by the lovely bar manager- Jacelyn, who had great drink recommendations- to excellent patio service by our beautiful server Anastasia. She made sure all the needs of my husband and I were met while enjoying the view of OSU campus. Would recommend this place to all my friends!
One of the best meals in town. Very good for lunch and dinner. Great service.
Had my sons graduation dinner here. Food was AMAZING and staff was incredible!!
The wait staff was excellent and the filet was to die for. I would also come back just for their Caesar salad, which was also amazing. The front door was a little hard to find but that's likely user error.
People often forget about Rancher's because it's tucked away in the Student Union, but it's one of the best restaurants in town.
Food was great and the service was excellent. My only complaint was with the atmosphere. I made a dinner reservation for a special occasion and it stated clearly that the dress code for dinner is business casual. There is even a sign next to the door, detailing the dress code. It isn't enforced at all. The group at the table next to us was in shorts. One guy was wearing a green plaid shirt, purple shorts with black socks and tennis shoes. At the table across from us was a guy in a suit, talking to a guy in medical scrubs. I don't have a problem with what people wear, but if you're going to have a dress code, then enforce it. It sort of cheapened the whole experience for me.
$9.95 Lunch special that changes daily! This place is on campus and truly has consistently fresh food.
First time here to try. Wanted to for a long while. Excellent steak and desserts. Nice bar outside entrance with EXCELLENT selection. Service friendly and helpful. Most are college students trying to make it. Just an overall good experience. Portions are not huge. But adequate. You WONT be disappointed.
Excellent food quality and service. Lunch and dinner menus are very different, so go for both! They know nothing about tea, though, so don't expect more than two-star tea service. That, at least, is uncivilized. Still, overall very good.
Great experience. Great steaks. Awesome potatoes. Great service.
The Resturant is beautiful and the service was excellent... if only the food had lived up to the hype. My father had the prime rib and rated it poor to mediocre. I hade a $48.00 tenderloin, perfectly cooked, with no flavor. It was served with my choice of a side dish. I ordered asparagus and received 4 soggy stalks of asparagus. My son had salmon, which tasted old and dry. The calamari appetizer was excellent as were the desserts. The middle of the meal, not so much. Disappointing is an under statement.
Food was great. Service was lacking. Our server was so worried about the table of six that was ordering several bottles of wine that he forgot to even take our order; The ladies behind the bar were excellent and even made me a coffee to go, on the house.
Excellent as always. If you haven't tried The Rancher's Club for lunch....make a reservation today.
Had the best French dip of my life at lunch here. Service was great and when I asked for an aioli with my fries, they delivered and it was awesome.
Great food with good service. Lunch is affordable for all (priced for college students).
Great meal with my daughter. Look forward to my next visit!
Great vegetarian options, had the spinach/ couscous salad, then potato, asparagus, and mushrooms for main course. Delicious food, impeccable service.
Very good service and food, learned that the school takes 10% of tips on meal plan, so i plan on tipping in cash next time.
I had a great lunch. Appetizers came out very good with a great dipping sauce. Crab cakes were very good. Would definitely recommend making a reservation but they did take us as a walk in.
I had a really enjoyable experience. The steaks and chops were great. Sides and apps were really over sauced and salty. My dessert appeared to have been frozen.
This place used to be affordable for lunch but over the last year they've increased prices by 50-75%. Not having a full lunch menu with lunch prices is really hurting the image. If it wasn't for their lunch special which also just increased $2, then I'd no longer be eating here other than special occasions. Most of my university colleagues have started to boycott due to menu and price changes, eagerly waiting to return when things settle with their rash price jumps and offering cuts.
The customer service is awful. Everything takes a long time to come out. They're always under construction. The hosts never know if reservations can be made. Do not recommend, waste of time and money
The steak is always excellent. The fish and the duck are good, but they are nothing in comparison to the steaks. The parmesan crisps served with the bread are so good and so many people never touch them.
First time at Ranchers Club & it was fantastic. Wonderful menu.
Umm... Glorified Chilis. I went to Chick fil a after just to have some good food. OVERRATED!!
Steaks OK, overkooked, but pretty much everything was subpar.
Waitress had no experience and made numerous mistakes. When there are 10 empty glasses on the table it's probably time to clear it. Wine glasses very dirty. Bread not refilled. Don't ask customers if they want to keep their fork. Bring a new one. At $50 a head, service should be better.
Mac and "cheese" was dry and just had burnt cheese on top, none in the middle.
Hostesses are rude. Called to try and get a to go order and was told to call back at 8:15 because they didn't take to go orders until that time. I called back and was told that they weren't taking any orders for the rest of the night. If i'm told to call back almost an hour later, I should be able to actually place an order. Also everything besides the steak and bread pudding is mediocre, they pour a tub of salt on all their sides.
This place is great, we went for graduation and our waitress was amazing and so sweet!! I can t remember her name, I wish I could remember. Great Salmon!!
First off- we have eaten here several times and not once had poor service or bad food. My wife and I each have always ordered something different in order to try everything. My wife LOVES their pork chop and I really like their soups- the butternut squash was amazing! They use fresh herbs and vegetables straight from their garden and everything is made from scratch. Those that have had poor service while dining here must have had a poor attitude! Expect to spend about $80 including tax and tip (no alcohol) for two people- a little expensive but well worth it. Easily the best in Stillwater.
Great place to eat. The steak is great the seafood is okay since its Oklahoma. Be sure to tip the waiters since they actually get the tip and not the school.
Nicest place to grab a bite on campus. Been several years since I last had a good steak here, but the memories are fond. Best place in town for a steak in my opinion (minus my kitchen). Staff was always eager to please, I think they use to be students in the hotel and restaurant mgmt program at OSU.
Always worth a stop whenever I can and am in town (which isn't often anymore).
Great service and great food! I got the steak and my friends got the salmon, both made to perfection. Thank you!!
First of all let me say after having had steaks for over 25 years here in the US the Bone in Filet is the best I have ever had. Blows away all other steakhouses. Yes Mortons of Chicago is a close second. All others like Mahogany, Mickey Mantel don't even compare. Red Prime steakhouse is also good like Mortons but this was unbelievable. Cutting thru a filet with a butter knife was awesome. Even the sides like sauteed mushrooms were good. I wouldn't mind driving an hour to have dinner here.
The food was good but not worth the price you pay for it. The meat I got was a bit dry, but still alright. I'd go back, but probably not often.
An excellent experience.
down home cooking & fine dining

I am much looking forward
to future visits w\family n peers.
Always friendly service but if you don't have extra meal plan money to spend I don't suggest going here.
This is a very nice fine dining experience in Stillwater at Oklahoma State University. They have a neat history with well to do alumni donating money to help renovate and upgrade the old club that was more like Chili's than Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Each Donor also sports their favorite wine stocked by the Club. I normally get the Strip Steak for consistency, and I was pleasantly rewarded with this choice. Expect to pay for this meal, but the price is reasonable for what you are receiving. The Ranch Club is not quite at the level of Nick and Sam's or Gallagher's but they try hard and do very well with the food and the service. I highly recommend giving them a try.
Ordered food FOUR hours in advanced and still had to wait TWO hours from the pick up time. Outrageous. Is this a restaurant or the DMV?
Great atmosphere, great steaks. The rest of the food is okay. It's all pricey. Spend the extra on the steak!
I placed an online order on a Tuesday at 11:20 a.m. I arrived for pickup at 11:50 and unfortunately my food was not ready until 12:30 and when I received the food it was not hot but room temperature.
Great food, relatively low price, okay environment, friendly staff,
Boring duck confits, fishy crab cakes, unpleasant poussin, -- even the truffles and the mousse pie were completely forgettable. Not to mention the customer service - the waiter was snooty, and though he asked us how the food was, his response to a gentle critique of the confits was a breezy 'ok!' as he swept off. Oh, and please stop putting those heavy menus standing up on the table right next to the glasses. Two customers had and almost had accidents with them just during 2 hours.
The food was under cooked. And the bread for the burgers stink . The fries was cold . But they do have good service very nice the stake was very pink as we ordered it full cooked . And it came out under cook. Please do not go hear .
Waited six hours for my food, what is going on with this place?
Make a reservation, but it is a wonderful experience. The bar is phenomenal.
Appetizer and a toddy while snuggled in big comfy couches and visiting college kids.
This is a top-notch, dine-in restaurant. It recreates a vibe of a 5-star restaurant with something that seems missing. Maybe it's the dark & stuffy ambience possibly. They have arm-and-a-leg prices for top quality food so be prepared to spend. Still the most expensive restaurant in town I believe.
Lots of friendly greetings as we entered. Good first impression. A very nice setting for a good meal. Eden was our server on her first night of service. Such a pleasant & genuine nature. She welcomed us, got our drinks for us, presented our menus, & described the specials for the evening. We tried to be encouraging & told her not to be nervous around us. She brought our bread, then took our orders & repeated them back to us.
Eden checked on us periodically before & during our meal , neither neglecting or hovering over us.
Our food was outstanding! Every item was seasoned & cooked perfectly. My prime rib was probably the best that I have eaten.
We shared our compliments on the meal with Eden. She was pleased. For desert we shared a chocolate & raspberry tort(?) which was delicious. After Eden ran our check, she thanked us for helping he have a very good first night.
Great food & great service! We will be back to Ranchers' Club again with friends.next time.
Such a wonderful place! Amazing food and our waitress, Madi, was the sweetest and made our experience even better!
If you like the posh and pageantry of a NYC or LA steak house, you'll love this one. I've been to many steak restaurants on each coast and between and this visually has it all. The service is superb. However, now living in Oklahoma, I get to dine at many steakhouses and the ones that focus more on the meal are my favorites. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the meal was good but I canb't say it was great. The cut was a little fatty and the prices did not match the food. But if you want to impress someone, this place will do that, well except for the food..
Honestly, the food is a 10-15$/plate quality max while it cost around 40-50$/plate. Out of the three times I've been there, at best it has been at best forgettable.
They are CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS.
10/22/11
Very good attention, delicious dishes very well cooked and traditional Oklahoma
The food and service was excellent. I appreciated our experience.
Fancy atmosphere, but the food was absolutely just okay. Service was great.
Food and service are impeccable! And it is always one of my favorite memories of my visit to see my die hard OSU son!! Graduates 2020!! Go pokes
