What an amazing night. Great food and incredible service. Tara was so sweet with my hole crazy family

First time there on a very busy Labor Day Sunday, service was good and food was amazing. Had to wait a bit, but for as busy as it was I guess that s to be expected. We had the Aegean salad and Seafood Risotto, both very good. The Ham & eggs was a fun twist on delived eggs for an app. We sat in the dining as outside was full for a band. We ll be back!

Just one of the coolest places you ll ever go on the water with beautiful views and great decor. Home town feeling with big city service (most of the time), live music and a nice scene for all ages. Never had a bad time here...good for a romantic Din or just a couple drinks to watch the game, in other words very versatile. Best,

Absolutely delicious, high quality food. I live in PA and will drive 3-4 hours just to eat here and make a day trip out of it. Best lobster macaroni I've ever had. Great views of the water as well.

Finally came to check our the new grounds since the switch over from Wind and Sea. It was awesome. Had a great meal (honestly better than I anticipated). Our server was excellent, bus boys were on top of their game, music was great and beer was cold. Can't go wrong overlooking Sandy Hook. We had the calms in white sauce, curry mahi mahi and wings all were great. Put your flip flops on and go enjoy the sunset in your best Tommy Bahama.

Service was excellent, food was very good, drinks were good. Drink prices were reasonable, some food items were a bit high. Had the oysters and they were awesome.

I came here with my husband and first of all, the food was delicious! But besides the food; the service and vibe were so relaxing, clean, and professional. Definitely worth a visit! Ps: they re handling COVID really well...I felt super safe eating there and I can t say that about many restaurants these days. If you re looking for a romantic night out or a fun place to take your family, this place is great!

Went for the first time last night. Everything was nice from the hostesses to the waiters. Food was really good and live music was really good.

Drinks are overpriced. They did a great job on renovating the old WindnSea. The food is okay. Lobster bisque was good, roasted oysters were excellent but the Mediterranean dish was disappointing on the flavors.

Did a dock and dine for a weekday lunch for my birthday. The owner and hostess were extremely helpful and friendly. The bartender was very helpful in recommendations and accommodating.

We got a full order of a lobster roll as well as a house salad with grilled salmon. The lobster roll had generous amounts of lobster meat. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was a generous portion.

Great experience overall and would highly recommend for a relaxing lunch outside.

Love this place so much. With great food, perfect location for dinner with a view, and live music, Proving Grounds offer the whole package.
