The Pointe has been a great place to live! The $50 per person utility allowance has been awesome and we've only had to pay out of pocket for utilities 2 or 3 times. Having access to the gym 24/7 is great and the park behind the apartments is perfect for running or playing basketball. Having four and a half bathrooms is AMAZING, and all of the furnishings utilities are really nice!

Nice and spacious rooms. Management isn t so great or organized. Both my dressers were all torn up and broken when I moved in I put in a maintenance request about a month ago and still have no fix. I was never given full details about how when and where to access pool or gym and the office is rarely ever open. Or they aren t open at a convenient time for me. I will say the house is very nice and spacious very homey but if you re looking for good management I wouldn t consider this place. Granted I ve only lived here for a month. I hope it gets better !

I have lived at The Pointe for two years, and have loved it! The rooms are huge and homey, the location is perfect (you're right next to a park and close to campus, grocery stores, and restaurants), and you get great service and amenities for a low rent price. Maintenance requests are always answered quickly, and the office is super friendly. I'm graduating, otherwise I would have signed for a third year!

Lived here for a 12 month lease. Staff was generally nice, maintenance requests were prompt. Unit's A/C was lackluster, upper levels were always more hot than bottom floor. Internet was ok (averaged 10 mb/s download speed when tested). No ethernet ports in bedrooms, only ethernet access is via wireless routers. Overall, good place to live and would recommend to anyone. They charged $60 cleaning charge for
bedroom carpet upon moveout, which seems a bit excessive, considering it was vacuumed before moveout.

I love living here! Perfect location, close to campus and in close proximity to many stores and food places. The management team is great, and my questions are always answered in a timely manner. The apartments themselves are very spacious and come with great utilities. I recommend the pointe to any student looking for a safe and affordable place to live!

The Pointe is a great place to live. The town homes are very nice, modern, spacious, and clean. They are built with quality in mind, unlike most other student apartment complexes in Columbia. I enjoyed living there very much. The management staff were all very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make you feel at home and to help with whatever you needed. Parking was never an issue as they have a lot of parking spots. Maintenance issues were rare, but when we had some, the problem was fixed speedily and well. It's in a perfect location and right next to Rock Quarry Park which was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place!

As a parent, there are few things you worry about more than your children moving away from home for college. My husband and I went back & forth before deciding on an complex for our child to live at. We finally settled on this property for several reasons. The first being the staff. Being out of townees, it was reassuring to learn that this complex is locally owned and managed. It was also reassuring to see that the property was clearly built with quality materials. We toured a complex that mimicked the footprint of this complex, but obviously used inferior materials. We were happy with our decision last spring, and continue to be happy. The office manager is incredibly helpful, and seems to know my child by name whenever we call to pay rent or ask questions. I will say that I tend to be an overzealous mother, so anyone that can handle my persistent questions with a smile is greatly appreciated. I normally don't post reviews, but as a parent - I struggled to find a safe home away from home for my child. If you are looking for a safe and quiet place for your child, look no further than The Pointe.

Excellent place to live. Close to campus, roomy floor plans, and great tenant service. Lauren in the office was a lifesaver when I had an issue with an online order being delivered to the wrong address. 10/10 would live there again.

I agree with the previous statement. Management is definitely suspect. They take advantage of students and do NOT take ownership when things on their end (their amenities) are not functioning! The fridge went out and was out for over a week, food had to be thrown out (in which they initially wanted to be repurposed) and they did not want to provide compensation for loss of food! Ridiculous! READ THE FINE PRINT.. they say they are not liable for anything that happens that they say they will not be responsible for (which makes no sense).

I have really enjoyed living at The Pointe! The location is perfect, and the value is awesome! Huge bedrooms and closets, each with their own private bathroom. Pool, gym, shuttle to campus... what more could you ask for!

If you are looking for a place to live.. I highly recommend the Pointe! It is a great place to live and as a student the shuttle is extremely convenient to provide transportation to and from the Mizzou campus. The employees are also very friendly and personal which makes it feel more like home. The apartments come completely furnished so you don't have to do any heavy lifting either!!

Management is super friendly and helpful. BreAnna is easy to get ahold of and quick to respond to any problems we have. The Pointe is very affordable and the apartments themselves are built with quality unlike some of the others in Columbia.

I lived at The Pointe for a year during my time at Mizzou and honestly I can say it was the best experience by far. The apartments were built with quality in mind and you can definitely tell that as soon as you walk in the front door. One of the best parts about The Pointe is that it is locally owned and managed. The property manager, BreAnna, is extremely knowledgeable and makes an effort to get to know every single resident. A special perk that The Pointe provides is coffee and snacks year-round in the clubhouse. During finals week they serve fresh donuts every morning and for special events like homecoming or random resident appreciation they will have pizza in the clubhouse

Another great aspect of The Pointe is that it's located directly in front of Rock Quarry Park. Access to trails and basketball and tennis courts are literally right outside your back patio. The spacious, open aspect of The Pointe is something that you won't find at any of the downtown complexes. Bedrooms, closets and the kitchen area provide all the space one might need for all of their personal belongings. The townhouse aspect allows residents to gather and socialize in common areas or the ability to study and relax in their own bedroom. The courtyard and back patio give residents the opportunity to unwind and have fun on nice days and even through the frisbee around.

I highly recommend The Pointe as an off-campus student apartment complex. You simply cannot find the value elsewhere in Columbia!

My roommates and I spent 3 years at The Pointe and our experience could not have been better. The management is always responsive and always does their best to help with situations when they can. The apartments themselves are also great. They are very spacious and allow roommates to spend time together in common areas while also having good space to spend time alone when needed. I couldn't say enough to express our wonderful experience with The Pointe. I would recommend the complex to any college student in Columbia.

Iv'e lived here for a couple of months now and this is my honest review.

What you'll like about The Pointe is that the rooms are fairly large and each bedroom comes with it's own bathroom and fairly large closet which is super nice. There's also a washer and dryer, an option to come completely furnished, and wifi included as well. Literally within walking distance is a trail that you can go running on or there is a basketball and tennis court as well.

As for the room spacing, because of the way the building is set up, as long as you keep your door closed, you shouldn't hear people in the two rooms on the other side of your room and shouldn't hear anybody in the kitchen either. However, you will definitely hear noise coming from the person who is either above or below you (depending on if you're 2nd or 3rd floor) so keep that in mind. So please shut the hell up at night because most likely, the person who is above/below you will hear you talking or yelling.

I love living here!! It s close to downtown and campus and has great access to the highways! The pool is the perfect size and tends to stay pretty quiet. My room and closet is the perfect size for all of my stuff. There is a ton of parking for friends and family when they visit!
The management and staff are very accommodating and helpful and it s all at a very reasonable price when compared to other off-campus student living apartments.

It's a pretty good place to live. The rooms are fairly large and they're spread out from one another giving a sense of privacy. Also, each room comes with it's own bathroom as well. If you're a fairly introverted person and don't like hearing other people or other people hearing you, then you will like this aspect of The Pointe. Also, it comes with free internet, a washer and dryer, furnished, and utilities are included (at least when I was living here), not to mention that a basketball court, a track, and a tennis court are within walking distance.

I have had a wonderful experience living at The Pointe! The management is well-organized and super friendly. The layout of each apartment is awesome, with each bedroom having its own personal bathroom. For as nice as these apartments are, they are also super affordable! I have already resigned for next year!

The units here are very spacious and homey. I've lived in a total of three different places here at Mizzou, and this is my favorite one. It's nice being so close to campus and other places for food or groceries, like Panera and Aldi. The environment is great here, and the management responds quickly to any problems I may have. I always recommend The Pointe to any one who asks me where they should live!

A few good things before the bad: the setup of the place is nice; big kitchen, plenty of room to put in your own "pantry" furniture, and the rooms are big and everyone having their own bathroom is super awesome.
Location of The Pointe was good! A short, non-trafficky path to MU campus, and close to Walmart and a million other stores on Grindstone.
Also, right by Rock Quarry Park which has tennis courts, pool, a walking path, and a nice field for games or pets. Big plus.
Also the bus drivers are absolute HOMIES. Also, the Pointe staff were always nice and tried to be as helpful as possible.
*BTW I had a furnished apartment, which is the cause of half of my complaints.
The bad: 3 floors + physics (heat rising) = third floor is very hard to regulate temperature-wise. I lived on the third floor, and in the winter I was boiling while my second floor roommates were slightly chilled. In the summer, I was still boiling, and you have to set your house temp to something like 70/71 degrees in order to keep the people at the top from sweating to death in their sleep, which drives up the electricity bill quite a lot. Even if you have utilities paid for in your contract, you'll most likely go over the cap. I had many overages despite me and my roommates being naturally conservative when it came to lights, water, and temperature control.
Second, poor furniture. From the sliding door blinds which break even when treated delicately, to the coffee table that cracks easily... everything just feels thin and cheap. The door knobs have unscrewed from the half-bathroom in the family room, and somehow the lamp fixture over the bar in the kitchen started to fall off (??).
Onto the bedrooms... my bed.. was so freaking squeaky and loud. I have never known a bed to be so verbal. It kept me up countless nights because I would move one limb and the whole bed would start groaning louder than the Titanic when it split apart. It would keep my roommate in the room beneath me awake because everytime I moved it sounded like I was sumo-wrestling a 700 lb man.
The dresser and nightstand were fine. Yay!
My toilet had a 75% chance of running after I flushed, and it would make loud noises every minute unless I jiggled the handle. Just weird.
Overall, you won't die of anger or dissatisfaction if you live here, you'll just be annoyed. Maybe get an unfurnished unit and never touch the sliding-door blinds and you'll be 90% happier!

Rooms are decent size and come with their own bathroom, and the default curtains that come with the place let light in, so it doesn't get too dark in the day-time.

If you live on the top floor, it gets warm easily, even during winter-time. This is great during winter months but not so great during the summer. The good news is that every room comes with a fan and you will want to use it during the summer, trust me.

High quality living spaces and top notch management. Great location: not too far from campus but close to Walmart and close to restaurants and right next to 63. And having the shuttle is great so I don't usually have to worry about parking.
