The Playhouse Stage Review

Great stage setting and plenty of room for social distancing gatherings.
Fun place for family outings!

I really loved being here my husband's cousin took me to a play and the play was called the Disney Newsies it was the first time that I've ever been to a play here since I was visiting from Wisconsin the only downside is that the weather didn't cooperate very well it was raining really bad but other than that the seats were good we brought her own lawn chairs and then we went to Blaze Pizza and we both got our own pizza to go and brought it to the play I would definitely recommend and if I'm ever in the area I would go again

Really nice experience. Our second play in the park. Tonight we saw In the Heights. Great cast, music, and overall production. Sat in the seating area which was pretty comfy. I wish the play started earlier-perhaps around 6 or 630, instead of after 8... so that its more kid/family friendly.

So much fun and so accommodating for an outdoor event. Not crowded at all and bathrooms were clean as well as the park. The play was entertaining and funny. All the actors and singers were amazing! They truly showed great professionalism when ambulance showed up for a person in the crowd. They stopped the play until emergency responders did their thing and took the patient to the hospital.

The free plays are a beautiful contribution to this community. It's a great way for the kids to get new experiences. I loved coming down and seeing my first show. Its great for all ages. I can't wait to see many more.

This show was fantastic. The cast was phenomenal especially when you consider that they were all students. I have attended many of these performances and have always thoroughly enjoyed them. Appeal to all ages. The outdoor venue at Washington Park is lovely. Highly recommend.

So lucky to have this amazing contribution to the community. Shows are a summer staple.

Just saw In The Heights; the cast, choreography, live band and production were incredible for a free/low-cost show. The house was pretty packed on a hot July evening. I hope they continue to get great shows and attract talent like the ones we saw tonight.
