I've been here numerous times and have never had a bad experience. The staff does a great job of "crowd control" keeping annoying people who love to see the world through their phones out of the way. The seating is comfortable and I've never had a bad time finding parking. Someone not used to dealing with Greenville traffic or the parking situation could have some difficulties however. Ticket prices can be monstrously high but that is often due to the artist or the performance going on.

An excellent venue to enjoy a show and is convenient to the rest of downtown Greenville. A huge upgrade renovation has just been completed for the new season including new theater seating. In all ways one of the must see places if you visit

Good seats, full house, great show. Even with a virtually full house, access into the facility before the show was good. Plenty of ramps and good handicap access to most areas in the building, plus elevators, rails, and other helpful assistive technologies. Some areas of the center could improve handicap access, but for the most part, a person with mobility issues should be able to attend shows here. Moreover, staff is helpful; those needing wheelchair assistance can notify staff and get help from the entrance to their seats. After the show, people with mobility issues will definitely want help; at a busy venue, there are a lot of people that can impede movement, so plan ahead and you can be accommodated even if you are unable to walk without assistance or a mobility device. People without mobility experience will have an even better, highly enjoyable experience and I recommend the center to anyone seeking excellent entertainment experience.

My sister in law's family lives in Greenville and they love it. When I visited for the first I discovered what a gem this place is. Set in the foothills of Appalachia in South Carolina, the performing Arts Center is positioned along a riverwalk with the famous Greenville waterfall nearby. Excellent curated artistic season. Good restaurants. I was surprised how much I liked it here.

We just saw Miss Saigon here and I'm wondering if the folks with the positive reviews saw the same show my wife and I did. We both thought the show so bad that we left at intermission.

1) The sound was muddy. We sat in the back (row W) and with the exception of the leading lady, it just sounded like people shouting at each other.

2) The music was poor. I've been to a lot of really great shows and some of them were at the Peace Center. This one sucked. The lyrics and composition were amateurish, banal and at times discordant.

3) The story line and acting were sub par. The good news was that it matched #2 above.

This was an utter waste of money and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It was our first time and we really enjoyed the play, the only issue was a woman standing with her behind in my husband's face which was very uncomfortable for him. I think people should have a little more respect for other people, otherwise the show was great.

Beautiful theater in a beautiful downtown. We came in from out of town to see Hamilton and ate at Genevieve s before. The food was good, but not exceptional and service left something to be desired, but the convenience made it all worth it. I also liked the option of ordering for intermission and having it ready at the table. Theater seats are all in continuous rows, which makes it obnoxious for anyone entering or leaving.

Nice place to take in a how in Greenville. I don t understand the not taking a beverage into the hall rule. It makes for a strange scene: lots and lots of people standing outside the hall chugging beer and wine before they have to run in to get to their seats. Seems to be a holdover rule of the old south or something. Need to update that people.

The Peace Center is smaller, but no less impressive, venue where you can see several bigger shows like the Book of Mormon and Hamilton. The drinks are moderately priced for a venue of it's size but they only allow bottled water inside the auditorium so plan to finish your wine/cocktail/soda in the lobby. It's a convenient drive from Asheville.

Our first show at the Peace Center and it will not be our last. The wife wanted to see "Riverdance" so like a good hubby I surprised her with a mid week getaway to Greenville and show tickets.
Seating was comfortable with more than adequate legroom. We had a great sight and sound experience from our seats in the pit,row cc seats 1&2.The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient.

This is our third play with the children's theater and it did not disappoint. We like this one the best because it offered audience participation. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of each of the actors and will plan to come back next season.

The venue itself was nice. Got really thirsty during the show and wanted water but the only thing available was the water fountains, because the bar had closed. Then tried to step outside for a breath of air and was told I coukdnt leave or wouldn't be allowed back in.

And while some of the staff were nice and helpful, I was approached 3 times by a particular staff member because she thought I was recording the show, eventhough I wasn't .... It was very interrupting and annoying. There should be a better system in place for monitoring that kind of stuff.

Brought my mom and sister here for an evening of Mexican Folklore Ballet. Beautiful show! Giving for the wonderful staff who helped my mom to her seat and assisted her back to the car! The Peace Center is beautiful and looking forward to returning for future events!
