Super nice, historic hotel. Lobby area was incredible. I got the cheapest room, it was nice but nothing too fancy, which again, cheapest room they had so I get it. Loud hallways as you d expect in an old building. The ducks are cool, but not when you show up to check in in the middle of their little duck March around 5, wall to wall people and your just trying to get around. All in all though if your looking for that Memphis experience this is the place to stay.

This is a grand hotel that provides a grand experience! From the big things like architecture, to the small things like quality hand towels, and service beyond reproach, the Peabody understands how to provide the ultimate stay.
Be sure to catch the ducks, enjoy a cocktail in the lobby, and walk through Lankys.
Not sure when I will be back to Memphis, but when I do, I know I will be staying at the Peabody.

We had a beautiful room. The bed and mattress were comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom is pretty small though, while the bedroom is spacious and offers lots of storage. We slept through the night and enjoyed their excellent coffee downstairs in the morning.
I gotta say, we felt transported to another time area. Sitting in the lobby, classical music in the background, people rush by while we sat in these comfy couches was a great experience.
And I love how their ducks are everywhere. It made us smile and contributed to the whole on of a kind atmosphere. We will definitely come back to the Peabody s whenever we are in Memphis.

Not sure we can still call it the south's grand hotel anymore. Was there for a wedding. It was on the rooftop. One huge thing is getting there. Well its big hotel and out of 4 elevators 2 worked and only 1 went to the roof top. Lots of money was spent on this, which didn't match the venue. The restrooms are extremely dated. Kinda reminds me of how The Arrington is in Hot Springs. Just cause it's doesn't mean it has to be dated.

On the historical register, the Peabody Memphis is striking upon walking in the main lobby with a grand ceiling and comfortable lounge area this place does not disappoint. A gorgeous fountain graces the lobby with the iconic ducks that make their March twice a day to the rooftop at noon and 5pm. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but could of been a little cleaner. The in room dining was delicious and the restaurant top notch. We enjoyed a traditional high tea with all the trimmings. There s also a gift shop on sight with a ton of memorabilia from artists who have stayed at the hotel. It s also SUPER close to famous Beale St just a short walk from the hotel. Great place to getaway for a long weekend.

One of the most unique hotels I ve ever stayed at! Besides the hotels old school, but up to date looks, I have to give all credit to the duck Master, Kenon, for the 5 stars ! He is a wonderful story teller and very educated about the history of the hotel. I got the chills during the annual duck March ! I also, enjoyed the Peabody s cafe for their pastries and coffee in the morning. I want to go back to Memphis just to visit the hotel again. Love the ambiance.

Poor value for the price. Street facing rooms have loud street racing and crowd noise all night. Had 3 maintenance issues with our room and our daughter had to move rooms because of a terrible odor in the closet. We had black stuff on the shower liner! Elevators are slow particularly around 11am and 5pm for the ducks - which is checkout and checkin times! Could not hear checkin person due to commotion of duck exit, masks and plastic barrier between us. Exiting parking by car is a mess because you have to go out the same way arrivals are coming in so it gets all jammed up. Unsecure WiFi was a concern too. Every hotel should password their guest WiFi account. Overall expensive and not as high quality of a stay as it should have been. Very disappointed.
