More like a grocery store than a restaurant. Even on the restaurant side it s more like a food court with table service

First time there and overall impression of the place is good. Selective items, good quality but high prices. We thought you get what you pay for and took few grocery items and tiramisu from the cafe. Tiramisu looked good but that was it. It was the worst tiramisu i ever tasted. The cake was hard and the topping was even harder. The 1 dollar tiramisu at freshco freezer is better than this fine fresh tiramisu as advertised. I wanted to dine there but tasting the tiramisu made me choose otherwise. I will stay away from their fine selections from now. Pretentious at best!!!!!

We went for the second time. Wasnt great, reminded us why we haven't been in so long. My Husband had the burger and the bun was stone cold. Should have been toasted, it was completely soggy. No salt or pepper on the table, ketchup would've be nice too. I had the smoked salmon bagel. I thought it was going to be a sandwich but it was on half a bagel. It was fully loaded, looked amazing; could not pick it up. They gave me a butter knife to cut it...... And it was the hardest thing to cut. To top it off, she never came back to ask how the meal was. Wasn't great. Won't be going back. On a positive note, it is quick service but not attentive service. Not worth it $$

Fantastic place with great pizza!! Also the Ricotta and pita started with garlic is amazing. House red is delicious and the atmosphere is good. The restaurant is conveniently attached to a cafe and grocery store, and has a shaded outdoor patio. We decided to dine indoors, which had a very clean and modern look. Service was attentive and friendly.

Great grocery store full of one offs if your just dropping in but if you want to make a night out the restaurant is amazing. Yes there is a full restaurant and pastry bar.

A disappointing visit to the restaurant. My wife's sandwich was wet and the 'seasonal vegetables' with my meal left a lot to be desired. The market shopping did not disappoint.

Such an elegant, casual atmosphere!! Loved the waitress and the food was delicious and the menu is incredibly interesting with great twists on classic meals. Highly reccommend, great place for occasions or just to pop by.

Nice little sit down Italian restaurant inside an Italian grocery store. They have a pizza oven in the restaurant so you must have the pizza. It is delicious.

Great unique grocery store, nowhere else like in in Peterborough! Great coffee and gelato too! Although we do love the restaurant, we have stopped going due to service unfortunately. It is much too slow to receive your food, including the last time when we waited over 20 minutes to be acknowledged by anyone as we stood at the front and servers walked by and did notice us, but didn't say anything to us. We ended up leaving without being seated or spoken to at all. It's really disappointing and I don't think we'll be back unless the service is improved upon. I hope that the management takes this into account.

After paying $54.24 for two medium 12-inch pizzas yesterday at One Fine Foods in Peterborough, with two toppings, mushrooms and pepperoni, I did some comparative pricing this morning:

For TWO 12-inch medium pizzas, with mushrooms and pepperoni:
Pizza pizza $20.68;
Little Caesar's $25.31;
241 PIZZA $20.99;
PAPPA JOHN's PIZZA $22.10

This place is fantastic. The restaurant has great food and has a comfortable atmosphere.

Really good restaurant and store. It really is an Italian home. The washrooms where clean too. This is one of the best places I've been too.

Nice inside. Lots of good quality, however on the pricey side. Tried the turkey sandwich, very tasty, fresh bread, and pricey. Restaurant side was busy. You have to visit, best way to find out if this is your cup of tea.

This is my first review ever, but have to write I was disappointed with my lunch. I ordered spaghetti & meatballs. The service was fine, the bread & oil were delicious and the meal was nicely presented but the meatballs were hardly warm and the same was true for the pasta. However, I did enjoy shopping in the grocery part of the establishment.

You definitely need to eat here. The food was freshly made and tasted amazing. I wish I ordered the full bowl of soup it was so good. The fire baked pizza was done perfectly and large enough to share but glad I didn t . The service from Jordi was excellent. Wish we lived closer.

This was our first visit to the restaurant. We ordered a variety from appetizer and pizza to salad and pasta. The first bread served was cold but once we asked the waitress was more than accommodating to bring warm bread. All the food and alcoholic beverages were superbly done. The place is nice and clean and inviting. The service is very good. If you ask for paper napkins, they are not too generous. They are the small cocktail size. For their mimosa they used real prosecco so quite nice. All and all a very pleasant experience and we will be back.

Specialty shop and restaurant. I can only speak to the shop and not the restaurant on this review. I found that it was very expensive for many of the items on display. Many of the items you can find at various shops in town at a lower price but I guess it is all in one spot.

Good food but not family friendly! Absolutely shocked that they do not have change tables in the bathroom. For being a new establishment I am disappointed.

An excellent addition to Peterborough's restaurant scene. A nice selection of pizzas with quality ingredients and none of the grease that is typical of other pizza places. Their meat and cheese boards are also very good, with a nice selection of wines and beers. The location is a bit unfortunate, but does not take away from the overall premium atmosphere.

Fantastic place to come if you're looking for fresh cooked meals. Everything is made in-house. The bread was fresh, and the desserts and ice cream were great.

Mostly go here for extra groceries, deli meats, breads and cheeses. Lots of meats and cheeses, some I had never even heard of! Great place but haven't tried the restaurant food

The pizza was excellent. The ricotta flat bread with garlic was also delightful. However, dessert was the opposite. Apricots infused with amaretto and was suppose to be served with an almond biscotti, turned out to be walnuts with what was perhaps suppose to be gelato but did not taste like it at all and texture was way off . Even though dessert turned out not the way it should have been, I would go again .

Delicious food great service. Booked a table ahead of time. Large patio.

Fantastic lunch. You can taste the high quality ingredients. Also, we did some grocery shopping and found the prices quite reasonable. Very happy again.

Great pizza option in Peterborough. Service sometimes is a bit slow but well worth it for the food.

Good stuff. They could not tell me the salt content of their house quinoa salad though. With a sodium restriction in my diet that is always something I want to know.

OMG my new favourite place in Peterborough. I had absolutely delicious fried calamari with an aioli dip. They provided focaccia bread at no cost and I had a glass of wine. The menu if very good and they are known for the fresh pizza. Yet...it's a grocery store. What a fantastic concept. You can go to the restaurant section or grocery section and if you want to you can grab a glass of wine from the restaurant and take it shopping with you.

Great quality of food and alcohol and friendly staff. Not to mention the amazing cafe latte I just finished.

Ordered 6 different dishes they were tasteless and cold, brought us a complementary dessert and had alcohol in it and didn't tell us until we tried it. Over prices, takes forever to get your order and service is bad. I will never go back again. Not to mention the rude attitude and horriable customer service served by the waitresses...

JUNE 1 UPDATE - Hostess profiled patrons on appearance.

While running all kinds of truck based errands and grabbing supplies for outside work this morning, we both felt like a lovely pizza treat. Work pants and boots, hoodies and ball caps, I joked to my wife if we were "dressed enough" for One Fine Food... Didn't realize I was foreshadowing.

Walked into a 1/4 full restaurant and a less than warm hostess looked at us and proceeded to direct us to the back of the restaurant next to the restrooms. Let me be clear; the middle tables where we always sit (and we frequent this place) were for the most part empty.

When questioning her placement, she moved us one table over - still on the back wall, still near the "can".

Questioned her again, she said "then where do you want to sit" and snickered.

Hard to say if we'll be returning if this is the practice of judging your patrons placement on appearance - or are your prices lower at the back of house near the toilets?

Shameful. Changed from 5 stars to 1.

Proper wood fired pizza with fresh ingredients and an ice cold Peroni to boot - the restaurant portion of this place is too notch. On the other side, a lovely little shop with a wide selection of high quality and sometimes hard to find ingredients - all around, super experience.

Had a lovely dinner on the patio! GREAT service, DELICIOUS food and TASTY wine. After dinner we had a look around the grocery store, and bought a few yummy items including some gelato!
Definitely recommend :)

Love this place....best bagels and hummus ever. Also discovered a new favourite salad dressing. Today I needed a quick grab snack so opted for a quinoa salad and it did not disappoint! Thanks as always. Highly recommend this place.

Went there for dinner on a Saturday night at 9:07 pm and the owner said the kitchen is closed! Love the food there tho

I would like to thank whom ever that decided to scale back the portion size at 1 FF. getting less pizza for the same price drove me to develop my own dough recipe and perfect my cooking technique. I don t have a wood fired pizza oven ( yet) but I ve managed to recreate the same environment using convection. I no longer need to order pizza.

The choice if foods is wonderful I shop there dropping in at least once or twice a week . Cheeses and fish ....MMMM

Food quality is good and ordered a pizza (6 slices) and two Caesar salads. Bill was $46+ tax with the salads being $14 each....really, $14 for a small basic salad? Salad price is outrageous for the serving size. Will not be back....very disappointing.

Welcome addition to Peterborough, I was looking for some gourmet ingredients and found them. Everyone was very helpful. I even stayed for a scone and hot chocolate and was treated to a sample of the gelato. Everything was excellent. I even made a reservation for the restaurant on Christmas Eve. Totally looking forward to that.

OMG I wish I would come here sooner. The food is so good, especially their pasta!! True Italian cuisine! The atmosphere is great too. Highly recommended

Great spot. Their deli sandwiches are the best deal in Peterborough.

I was really excited about this place until I found a tin of critically endangered bluefin tuna. Won't be shopping here if this is the kind of thing this store supports.

Over-priced and over staffed. A strange combination. Long waits for service whilst staff chatted away behind the bar and in the kitchen. Food was adequate but certainly nothing different than what any other low to medium quality diner could serve anywhere in the country. I'd be very surprised if this place remains open for long.

Fresh great quality food that are absolutely delicious.
Everything in the menu is amazing in it's own way. Food presentation is appealing.
Wine selection is almost perfect for pairing with most things in the menu. Service is a hit and miss at times.
Nice little dessert section carrying some delicious treats for everyone.
The store is little Italy in it's own cute way.
It has some very fine ingredients of Italy.

November 1st. Had a great lunch. A bit pricey but food was good. It included an appetizer with a argulia salad and fried calliamari (very tender, I am probably spelling this wrong) main dish had bay scallops, shrimps ( tails removed) and mussels. The bay scallops were to small to see. A bit spicy, but good.

Great food, and the attached store makes it easy to grab some food to take home.

Food, atmosphere and service are excellent!! 5 star ! There is a beautiful pizza oven brought from Italy and their pizza is fantastic. Great choice of wines. You can have a glass and shop in their store! Their coconut gelato is heavenly !!!

Very special, both the grocery store and the eat in dining spot. You must take a bar of tea and toast chocolate home it was recommended to us and we go back every week to get another one.

A perfect alternative for food shopping. New, clean with plenty of upscale food. Dessert and coffee bar. Restaurant and grocery area. Your new one stop shop.
