The Outpost Apartments Review

When I first arrived in San Antonio, Texas, I found The outpost through a google search. I'm glad I chose to make it my living. The apartment unit is wonderfully spacious. With all the amenities at your ease. The most spectacular view is a road facing patio. Where I love lounging in summer. The front office staff is very friendly and courteous. They listen to you all the time. From time to time they bring you several events and giveaways. My most favorite part of being a tenant here! The swimming pool is so awesome. The gym at your service 24 hrs a day. Of course, I would love to continue my living at the outpost.

I am a student at UTSA and I love living at The Outpost because it is convenient. It s location is across from campus, which makes it easy to commute to classes and back. The staff is very friendly and responds to any issue quickly. During the pandemic, they still offer ways to involve their residents for the best experience possible.

Residents don't pick up after their pets and constantly leave trash everywhere. Maintenance has no intention of cleaning. There has been dog puke and trash on the staircase for over a month now. After calling 5 times and putting in several work orders, nothing has been done. I've seen maintenance walk up and down those stairs during unit inspections they just ignore and pretend it isn't there. It's disgusting to have rotting dog vomit outside your apartment. When I last brought it up to the office, the community assistant Angela said she wouldn't mind and would be "chilling" if there was dog puke outside her door. If that doesn't portray this property s mentality I don't know what to tell you. Save your time and money. Sign a lease elsewhere. ACC you should contact your team here and sort things out.

5/14/21: Seriously, DO NOT LIVE HERE.I have lived here for the past 3 years and I can confidently say that this is one of the worst places to live. The management is incompetent and they will continually try to down play their errors and invalidate your concerns about issues that you've made aware to them. Countless times, I've had to fight to get anything done. Currently, the problem I'm having is with subleasing my lease. I asked multiple times about the process and they still gave me the wrong answers. They had my subleaser sign the WRONG lease after he and I explicitly said that he wants to take over my lease. Now, they're saying that I will still be responsible for the lease, even though it was an error on their part. It's been over a week with no resolution in sight. In an email, they couldn't even give me an eta. Ignore the "positive reviews" most of them were baited into giving the complex 5 stars.

5/21/21-Update: my problem has been resolved, but I had to go out of my way to the office to find out, instead of being contacted to let me know that it was done. I still believe it took way too long and there should have been more transparency.

I have lived here for two years and found it to be such a great experience. I have a three bedroom apartment with lots of space. My pup loves the dog park and I go to the gym almost on a daily basis. The staff is always willing to help and is extremely kind!

Preparing for college can be a daunting task especially during these trying times. Our visit to the Outpost was truly amazingly Brianna ensured we had the information need to make an informed decision. The tour of the property was well organized and detailed. She is a great asset to your company.

I really like this apartment complex. It really gives the students the opportunity to live in a nice apartment while going to school at the same time. I also found that the employees are really helpful and guide you with any questions or concerns that you may have. Thank You, Julio. CA for being so accommodating with all of my concerns. I really recommended to everyone..

I usually don't make post but i had to. I was very nervous. However the great service made me feel i was back in my hometown. Thanks Brianna for making me feel comfortable and your awesome customer service.

I currently live here, moved in on August 18th 2018, and I have never had to call maintenance as much as when I lived here. AC went out twice in 2 weeks, there s a ROACH INFESTATION in the walls and the fact there is so many holes in the walls/ceilings it s impossible to control them. They say they had 7.4 million in upgrades but I don t see where all that money went. I really recommend living anywhere else and I m already searching for a new place to live once this lease is up, I m not resigning.
When I called management and was discussing all the issues I just wrote about, I was given some attitude in return and questioned about the legitimacy about these claims.
Horrible place all around from the roaches, the awful maintenance and upkeep, and the management.

The pictures are of a couple different roaches, the trash outside in the bushes around the complex, the holes in the ceilings, and the utility closet (which we don't have 24/7 access to so we can't keep it maintained and cleaned)

I've been living at the Outpost for over a year now and I don't regret signing here! Not only are their services great, the prices are affordable, and it is the closest to campus which makes it the most convenient for me as a UTSA student. Also, the front office staff are so friendly and understanding. Anytime I have a situation, Alexsis and Brianna are extremely patient and helpful! They do a very good job in keeping an exemplary connection with their residents. I would recommend speaking to either one of them if you have any uncertainties or issues!
