Thank you mission staff for all the work you do. This is the best and only shelter if you want to turn your life around, all the resources are there. I'm now in a better place because of you(mission) Thanks

Very well run organization. Helping the local community in a big way and transforming many lives. I went for a tour of the Ottawa Mission. I felt very welcome and learned so much. It opened my eyes. I highly recommend people to give, and to go see for yourself via a tour or their open house.
HEALTH AND DENTAL- This place has no right to demand OHIP cards for medical. These are volunteers here. Volunteers do not take fees. And mostly , dental. Dentists are not even covered, why ask for a health card?
Me my experience here was really super great wonderful staff and I'm so happy to be able to get a good meal and I love the morning coffee in the chapel thank you guys for the great work you do nothing but the best for the Ottawa mission and I love you so much thanks again
This place has helped many rebuild their lives with skills training and they provide excellent dental support to the less fortunate. Their meal programs are well organized and their volunteers are angels.
Because it's clean and well managed but at times may seem a bit overly strict to the new comer!!! WARNING :The RULES are ENFORCED !!!!
The staff doesnt care for people here. The Filipino guy was pretty unprofessional when I told him that the place wanted more beds. Not very helpful.
just be careful with privacy issues.. the legality is so clear that this place cannot take your personal info.... AT ALL! but they say if you don't give it up? You cannot stay.. nice eh?
The misssion is a good place to rebuild self-esteem and get back on a right path. There are a lot of services like getting back ID, help to search for job and susbidize housing. Change of bedsheet almost daily, most of the time food is correct and there are even social activities like movies or bingo. Sometimes front staff can be ignorant but they are still very professional and helpful. Best way to stay alive is to be zen.

Volunteers can sometimes feel unappreciated. Chef i met was a real character.
It is a good place to rebuild your life, all the tools you need are there, if you apply yourself, The Nurse's there in class all their own and are an essential part of the Mission. ( I am truly sorry if caused any trouble. )
