The Oshawa Little Theatre Review

Called in to purchase tickets for my daughters dance recital. Notified staff that I have a 7 month old BABY and asked if he needs ticket as he can not sit on a seat and will be on my lap. Was told it s ok. A few weeks later was told by my daughters dance school that according to theaters policy wouldn t be allowed to have him on my lap that even youngest children need seat. Called theater back and received very poor customer service. No apology or explanation of policy was bluntly told to buy a ticket. Hall was already sold out so the staff told me to buy single ticket at the back for the child. Told them he obviously can t sit alone in the back and said I ll just keep him on my lap on my seat. The reply was: once you are in it s not my concern what you do. Horrible rude customer service and money grab. Who ever heard of charging for infants??? This place is a joke.

Attended to see the woofjocks. Placed smelled like a barn, needs some TLC. Ticket ordering process needs to be refined. The show was great though.

Tiny little place, was greatly surprised how nice the establishment was and then the show was even better. Look forward to going again.

Only been here once to see Beauty and the Beast but what a show. Costumes were incredible. Actors were on point. Will look into other shows here in the future.

Great place, hardworking people who are passionate and seem to be having a good time.

This one is good for small crowd and seating arrangements are ok. Sound system is good along with lightning.
However, the cleanness of the washrooms are really bad and very dirty. Smell is like a hell.

Been there last few years with daughters class and the shows are always great n well worth the $.

Went too see guys n dolls opening night .. The best ever absolutely fabulous ...amazing talent ...Mothers Day present too my daughter & myself .. Great choice ..

Great little venue for putting on plays or other entertainment.

Quaint theater very comfortable seats... wheelchair accessibility and washrooms. My only suggestion would be to obtain a liquor license!

Local theatre with great performances. Have been attending this venues seasons pass plays & musicals about 5 years now. There's only been one play that I didn't care for.

I ve been coming to this theatre since I was a little kid and I love it. It s small and the actors are volunteer based which is nice and keeps it local

My daughter went they were not on time finishing the show.

First time here! Saw Footloose. A fun experience! Actors were awesome, sometimes a few funny things going on the side. Very well done. Wish I could have taken one pic at the end

The kids put on a great show. We went in with little expectation having never been to a ballet show before. My one positive idea is around the age of the theatre. You can see visible signs of wear and tear however you can expect a clean and organized establishment.

Absolutely brilliant. Went with my girls to see Beauty and the Beast this evening. Sets, costumes, acting, choreography, orchestra, entire production...all absolutely the BEST I have EVER seen. Thank you for making an old girl so happy.

Oshawa Little Theatre is a clean comfortable Theatre.Comfortable seating.

We took our 4 year old daughter to see Beauty and the Beast and it was wonderful. Very well done. We all loved it. My husband and I also saw Sweeny Todd there and being one of My favourite shows I wasn't expecting much from this theatre. It was AMAZING! We both loved it. We will be back :)

I really liked the performance of jack and the beanstalk but I went with my sons' school and show was late starting. We had to leave the show early bc our bus was going to leave. That was very disappointing.

Always a great time and fantastic shows! Performances are flawless! A real treasure for our community ;) West Side Story, Addams Family, Footloose ++ Keep up the great work!

Great community theatre with a great auditorium. Parking is easy. Not a bad seat in the house.

Fabulous venue, entertaining performance. You can tell everyone involved in the production and the evening pit their heart and soul into it. Will be back again.

I just saw the OLT production of Footloose, and it was fantastic! The sets were well thought out and stage changes were done smoothly. The cast was multi-talented both through song and dance. The music, both from the soundtrack as well as the original songs, were very well done. Seating was comfortable, and everywhere you sit has a good view of the stage. I highly recommend seeing any production here.

The play that I saw was quite good but I found your're very squished together and the parking lot is crazy to get out after the show. But I'd go again, next time I might find a different experience. Staff members were lovely.

Just saw West Side Story. We didn't know it would be the youth group but they blew us away

Adorable! Took my kids after my sister bought us all tickets. Ms. Truchbull (sp?)was amazing!
So was wee Matilda.

We attended a showing of he Addams family here, the theatre was impressive especially for a smaller city. The actors were great and the performance was fantastic. I will be back someday!

Comfy seats and a nice venue! Being close to home i will likely go and check out a few more performances. The pricing seemed reasonable for tickets but there were no prices listed on the board in the lounge for snacks and drinks so I cannot say if they were reasonable or not.

Comfortable seats. Good acoustics. Professional level shows. Great prices.

2nd of buying their subscription. Shows work out to be approx $22.00 per live shoe. How could you go wrong. Enjoyed all shows thus far

My school and I saw Jack and the Beanstalk today. It was incredible. The cast were so visual and animated. Well done ! I also liked the intimacy of the theatre too.

Not a bad seat in the house. We saw the Liverpool sessions "Abby Road Live". Was a great time.

A beautiful theatre with humungous space for audience.

It's pretty crowded in the entrance area and parking was pretty tight. Though we were there for a dance competition so it was likely a higher volume of people than normal. The auditorium was pretty nice though. It is small though, like the name says.

Wonderful intimate setting. A hidden gem. Good acting, good smaller scale production.

Good performances for s small venue at reasonable prices.

Actors are very talented and certainly enjoy the arts.
