Well you responded, so five stars it is!! First walking in the door handles were alligators which was a nice touch! The entrance with the alligator band was really cool. Aside from that the casino was clean and everyone was friendly. First time here and would definitely come back for a longer stay!
Fun place. We went to the clam bar straight up but it was closed. So we wound up at Fridays. I had just a regular hamburger. It was surprisingly delicious. Great waiters. Nice people!
We enjoy the restaurants and casino. Its always a good time, and the rooms are comfortable. Its a little noisy in the halls when there are big events happening, but it is understandable. I give them 5 stars because they take the time to listen to the guest. We can't wait to return.
Our room was not clean at all. There were cigarette ashes in the bathroom and the shelves all had dead bugs and dust. Our toilet was broken and kept running all night. There was also this "screeching howl" all night from the door to the hallway. Something to do with the air in the room and it passing through the door? We will not stay there again. We had to stay there to play in a flag football tournament. But I can assure you, I will stay in another property the next time. The gaming was fine, the service in the casino floor was acceptable. The restaurants were slow and the food was mediocre at best. It would not be my top 20 of places to stay while in Vegas. that is for sure.
5/20/21 Update. The New Orleans staff asked me to contact them after leaving this review. I went to their official site and left the same review and they have not reached out to attempt to make anything right or keep us as a customer. The comment left by them below is just to try to make it look like they did something. But in fact, they have not. Nor does it appear that they care....
Lovely hotel. The workers were friendly and helpful. The casino wasn't good to me at all. I want say I a never come back to Orleans but it a be awhile. First time visiting Orleans my experience with the casino wasn't good. Just for me it wasn't. But my family members came out okay. Thanks for your hospitality.
Big casino. Lots of gaming, slots & table games, restaurants, bowling, banquet hall, and more. I was there on 5/24/2021, a Monday. It is packed like it was a weekend. I'm sure it'll be even more busy next weekend for Memorial Day weekend. Everything is back to normal as if the pandemic never existed. No plexiglass partitions, no social distancing, most people (guests & dealers) are no longer wearing masks.
It may not be on the strip but, to be honest, that is one of the best things about it. Completely self contained, you will have access to any type of food you like, a movie theater, kids play area, and all the gambling you can afford. With tons of table games, slots and an amazing poker room experience, this place scratches all the itches. Be sure and pick up a players card to get those free rooms next time.
I live in Las Vegas but I stayed in a room this past weekend. It was nice. I pretty much didn't leave the room. Will be going back at the beginning of June.
Went to the casino and the slots were not hitting. I guess they are trying to make up for the pandemic. I won't go back. But they do have great food court and sports book,
Went to the theater and it was nice and clean and covid distancing observed. Really nice to get back to the movies
