Ordered the Chili Spaghetti w/garlic bread. It was great. They were quick and gave us utensils and napkins since we were going to park and eat.
I like this place but service is very
Poor especially with the person in front Amanda
Im. ask for a table outside 4 tables are available only 1 waiting for around 30 min to ask one of the server to clean 1 table I think is a little bit to much
Food is good is no bad but service I think it can be better if the owner or how ever is responsable to run the business put attention to this issues
I live in San Fernando valley drive 20 min to eat In this place
This place is a local treasure - it is LA's oldest restaurant! They have very generous portions of classic diner food, and excellent service. It is fun to look at all the celebrity photos they have up too.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but my recent experience at the Saugus Cafe can't be captured completely solely in pictures. I had a very friendly and tasty mid afternoon meal this past Saturday. I was greeted and seated almost immediately. I ordered the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. I added a side of cranberry relish and I was set. My server/waitress was friendly and attentive, but not intense or off-putting. I dined outside as the weather was perfect. Thanks Saugus Cafe!
Delicious food, generous portions, friendly service, and reasonable prices.
Only been here for breakfast, but a nice selection and great service.
I haven't sat in a diner since covid hit it felt good to have that experience back the food was delicious and the service was friendly
Need to experience this place. Get the bloody Mary cocktail. Best I've ever had.
Never been there, always seen it. Food was good. Home style cooking with good crispy salad
