The Old Tea House was the best B&B experience we've had in a really long time. Debbie and her family were exceptionally welcoming, generous, and caring, from the scrumptious afternoon cream tea upon arrival to the beautifully packed lunch to send us on our picnic at Durdle Door the next day. The traditional English breakfast in the morning was also delicious and Debbie even told us where she kept the extra cakes so we could sneak some bites for a midnight snack to bring up to our room! Our tummies were so happy :) The room was also very spacious and comfortable. We'll definitely be back to the Old Tea House (next time bringing our parents, who would love the experience!) I recommend this place and the people without hesitation!

I had a great experience here, I was working 2 night shifts so needed to sleep during the day. Elizabeth and Molly were very quiet and cooked a great breakfast when I finally woke up.

They were very polite, full of smiles and laughs too. I'll definitely be booking here again if and when work brings me down here, and probably just for a weekend away too

Exceptionally friendly and receptive staff. The rooms we had exceeded our expectations. Ideally located for our needs. A complimentary cream tea upon arrival was a touch of pure joy. Debbie the proprietor is a fascinating lady and wants to ensure your stay here is special which it was. We will be visiting again very soon.

Bramble apple and Cherry pie amazing. Quite eccentric the way and English tea house should be felt most welcome. X

One of the best and vintage tea shop I ve ever been. The host has been so lovely and welcoming. The moment we stepped into the place, she gave a big smile and said make yourself at home and she had me at that. Such a beautiful experience and i will never forget. A must visit if you re around. Looking forward to visit the place again.

I booked the suite as I had an emergency medical procedure at the hospital in the morning and it is convenient for the town and ten minutes from the hospital. I didn t expect quite such a fabulous experience. The room was amazing with top facilities, tasteful expensive decor and I slept like a baby, feeling like a princess in a beautiful four poster bed. The host was so friendly and kind she not only gave a full discount for my registered support worker to stay and a complimentary full English breakfast for him, she let me return after my procedure to rest for five hours after the checkout time with no extra charge, a bowl of delicious yoghurt and fresh fruit waiting for me in the fridge and fresh towels for a soak in the bath before resting again in the luxury bed. Everything about my experience at The Old Tea House was so good I couldn t resist adding some photos which I have added on Facebook and I will most definitely be returning during my upcoming hospital consultation.

Highly recommend, food was really nice and we were made to feel very welcome. Lovely friendly atmosphere, definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing place !!! I travel from Southampton just for this tea rooms , lovely friendly lady serving dinners and if u r going for a reading you will b amazed definitely not disappointed could not recommend this ace any higher

The owner and staff here are so lovely and friendly, we were made to feel so welcome. You could tell it was a favourite with the locals, everyone was very open and chatty.

We had a delicious cream tea and salted caramel cake. The scones were light and fresh and the cake was rich but not too sweet. The coffee and tea were great too!
